Dark Talon spam

    I play sorcerer, and personally I think DKs are in much better shape than sorcerer is in it's current state. But I don't want DKs to get nerfed, I'd rather see my own class buffed. Let's be honest, DK is probably only class that has great synergy between their skills, and most of their skills are useful, so maybe we could start asking buffs/improvements to our own classes, rather than demand nerfs to others?

    More damage, sneak, speed, and range to alla classes :-)

    I rather say lower the damage on all classes.

    Add PvP loot drops for some risk/reward in this game.

    Did you take the time to compare the skills?

    First of all, Purge is more expensive to cast than dark talons. If you morph it to lower the mana, they're almost identical mana wise. Now, you're talking about someone rooting you AND doing damage, while you backpedal spamming a defensive ability, and doing zero damage.

    So now you're forced into the decision of taking the heal, which means you'll run out of mana twice as fast, or taking the lowered cost, which won't effect the outcome of the fight, just prolong it.

    Your scenario sounds like a one on one. In group fights purge works as well as rapid maneuvers. It has a much higher cap on targets so it works on a lot of people.

    You can say it doesn't work but it really does work pretty well unless you are just going to be over run which means at that point its not really dark talons killing you as much as numbers.

    For the record I play a nightblade just in case you think im defending dark talons im not.

    DK is built towards short range and sorc towards long range, each has its weaknesses and advantages given the type of fight. Generaly you wont be able to keep your range and kill a DK but thats where grouping comes into play, i wouldnt consider sorc to be a solo class, NB is light years ahead even with all the broken skills in that regard.

    I do not think DK's should get a nerf but soft cc's should have an immunity. There are multiple stun lock combos out there and each time you use a soft cc the next cc should either A not last as long or not work at all. Players should have to mix soft and hard cc's. The fact is two + dk's means you aren't going anywhere period. Have had to fight 2 vet 10 dk's multiple times and have had a full stamina bar and still could not roll out after the second talon. This i have reported as a bug. Hopefully ZOS doesn't go overboard. Hopefuly they listen to the majority of the community that simply is asking for a short immunity after the cc is cast.
