Post the most best thing that happened last year (2024) in Elderscrolls and what to hope for in 2025(this year).

In 2024 I finally got my first companion Ember which really helped me solo public dungeons and other elite tasks. Eso servers lost power and people were posting stuff on the forums about it and posting some amazing stuff about their pets 🐕🐈. Also I made it to cp 1000. Got my first in-game house. And got tons of achievements completed.

What I hope to come in 2025 is the ability to dye hair and markings in the outfit station, new dungeons, more character customization, and to have all the dyes unlocked.

The pickup groups for trials got better and I got some vet dlc trial clears as a result. I have more clears than I thought I'd ever get! 😀

Best thing for 2024 was switching to Oakensoul!

Top hope for 2025? Please fix the diaperbutt bug on the Timbercrow Wanderer costume.

The best thing about 2024 in ESO for me was that period between January and May when I could play WITHOUT experiencing crippling 999+ ping spikes and occasional disconnects everywhere in the game.

Had a lot of fun in Cyrodiil with my guild mates during that time, and also put in a lot of work on the backlog of zone content I hadn’t completed yet on my main. I probably would have finished it all this year, if not for the terrible performance.

Best thing in 2024: Zerith-var's storyline. I wish all writing we saw would be on that level!

Biggest hope (or rather wish) for 2025: Well-written story content. Even if we don't get a bigger landmass, at least a smaller zone with interesting content and good writing would be nice. If there's nothing like this, this year would become rather boring for me.

Oh, and I hope for reasonable changes to moderation rules that treat us as adults who can handle their problems themselves in most cases. But there's another thread for that.

Best thing that happened in ESO in 2024 was the choice of another Imperial place, which I am burned out on, which led me to try another game which I am obsessed with and having an insane amount of fun with. Thanks ZOS!!!

All kidding aside it has to be the companions backstories. Both are really well done and seem fun. I went from not wanting to even unlock them to them being my first two I use. Scribing isn’t bad either honestly, I’ve made some funny combos.

My favorite part of 2024 was meeting Votary Nahlia and questing with her to discover the wonders that are the Luminaries of Magic.

My hope for 2025 is more/better costume/outfit/hairstyles for male characters. Female characters have a ton of great stuff, but male characters are kinda meh in that area.

Zerith-var’s quest line was a pleasant surprise and the Group Finder was beneficial for me for finding trial groups. I was hoping it would help me find a new guild but hopefully that will happen sometime this year.

Happy new year!

Best thing that happened to me this year was getting a trial prog, and actually making Dawnbringer. I still remember when I never even thought I'd be able to do group content at all, so to be able to spawn those totems was incredible.

My big hopes for the future are more Classes. I love creating new characters and their backstories, and I love finding new ways to interact with the game. I'd love to see a Dwemer Artificer class come in, or maybe even explore a Class using some of the NPC-only attacks.

Happy New Year everyone! I am hoping ESO gives the zones some love this year. Revisiting areas where we completed quests to see the impact of our decisions, especially our good deeds would be truly meaningful.

The zones need more life into them; they are too stagnant at the moment; they need more continuity, flora and fauna. Oblivion, you are my love!

We have companions now; please use them ESO. Have them more reactionary in a meaningful way with our characters, base on how we play the game. One of the best gifts from ESO for me is the KNIGHT ERRANT title. It is how I play. We need more of that... of stories that are coherent, filled with warmth and hearts.

I am hoping that 2025 will be the year ESO brings us closer to Morrowind, to Oblivion, in particular, which was filled with guffiness but, oh, with so much hearts and fun!

Happy New Year!

My favorite things this year were the two new Dungeons, the trial, and Scribing.

My hope for next year is four new Dungeons, a new trial, character tracking fixes or new features, and inventory quality of life improvements. Also PvP improvements.

Also hair dyeing via outfits!
