I finally understand Graven Deep Vet mech ...but.
This most notorious Vet dungeon have kept annoying me really long time.
Well.....I'm happy. But not fun at all. Extremely disgusting.
First of all, "ZOS game director" must check your designer's behavior seriously.
(Don't remove this thread.) I can't respect this type of game design.
Totally not. No thanks ZOS.
"The game planner of GravenDeep dungeon" changed Vet mode mech "too much
from normal dungeon". What kind of people can understand such a situation without
explaining? Basically, normal dungeon is training ground. I know Vet dungeon has bit more
difficult mech from normal. And some of them has Vet only lethal mech.
But GravenDeep is....100% unfair. Too much different from normal dungeon.
And I couldn't understand any of UI meaning of GDVet boss field.
"ESO UI design is the worst ever" compared with any of game title which I've been playing.
I couldn't understand any of mech of GravenDeep Vet explanation of guide book without
experienced player's advice.
Newer dungeon is getting better though, It has good tutorial zone and has
acceptable good visual design as UI.

✭✭Veteran Graven Deep is probably the most difficult dungeon to randomly queue for.
Farmed all day and most groups can't even get past the first boss. When it takes 5 minutes to kill the Pangrits before the first boss spawns because nobody knows how to use the synergy properly, you know you're in for a bad time.
CP 350 tanks and damage in Veteran Graven Deep is just wrong. Should be CP 600 requirement for this dungeon. Even a group with CP 1500+ couldn't kill the last boss on Veteran.

✭✭✭It is the toughest to figure out by comparison. The orb and tank positioning the boss are the two most important aspects of the fight. For me, the sundered mech is silly and annoying. Its so dumb and out of place, that it feels like it was meant for another boss, but the devs forgot so they just slapped it on the end.0 -

It has a learning curve, sure. But once you figure out a strategy for the fight, it's pretty easy, even on HM.
Getting the Graven trifecta, for example, is a lot easier than its sibling dungeon Earthen Root Enclave, even though most people would say that ERE's mechanics are much simpler (it's mostly just "avoid red"). That's because ERE is all about having quick reaction times and dealing with lots of incoming damage.
There are no tough DPS checks, no spicy heal checks, and no need for lightning reflexes in Graven. It's tough if you don't have a good strategy for it, but once you do, I'd say that it's easier than even Bedlam Veil (where there's no strategy for the final boss aside from "don't mess up".)

✭✭✭@code65536 completely agree. Prior to Graven Deep, I think the "hardest" mechanics to understand were Frostvault. Graven Deep was/is just so much different because it is mechanics over burn.
