Our own alt characters as houseguests or maybe companions! With generic dialogue for each race maybe.

Yeah if we’re going into unrealistic wishes I’d have to agree with this one.
There are a lot of things I like, such as crafting system, item sets, Templar abilities, War in Cyrodil, various storylines, etc - but let’s be frank - the majority of us wanted another Elder Scrolls game, in the creation engine, with classic magic skill lines, with gameplay that actually worked in first person.
People wanted Skyrim 2.0 with friends - not an MMO with MMO combat that takes place in Elder Scrolls.
Game mechanics and development aside, if I'm going with just "things to have in Tamriel" I would have to go with central plumbing -- specifically toilets.
I'm pretty content for the most part. I can explore anywhere, I have a mount that I love very much, and a house that I can call a home. I'm not hurting for food or shelter or other resources.
But why are there sewers, and no toilets or commodes or similar? Sure, there's chamber pots, but I feel like craftsmanship, technology, and arcana exist to a point where we can install something more luxurious in our homes.
Dwemer uses steam technology, so I wonder if that would make water heating for hot baths easier, too...

What is the basis on which you attribute your point of view to "the majority of us"?
I've played every TES game from Arena onwards, and while I certainly wanted another Elder Scrolls game, as far as I'm concerned that's what I've got and I'm very happy with it. I certainly didn't want "Skryrim 2.0 with friends".

Dude... dude... why do you think the daedric lords keep trying to invade or destroy Nirn? They are SICK AND TIRED of every tamrielite wearing perma-diapers that automagically sends all "waste" into oblivion!! :-P ;-)
