Near future: Cyro will be nearly lag-free and nobody can complain about it.
Distant future (around 2 weeks): Another shutdown will be sheduled, or the server suddenly crashes and the lag will be back after that.
We as a gaming community are often very quick to pour out our grievances and resentments, to complain to ZOS for their failures.
This time however I wanted to say thank you very much and I think on behalf of most of us that we really appreciate today's hotfix regarding magick and life steal. This is how the pace of the most important fixes should be. Great job ZOS team, keep it up!
Your gang!

Agree. I always understood "hotfix" to be an update while the server was still live.

Actually, hotfix is a fix for a major issue that already went to the "live" environment, in this case the ESO live servers. It does not matter if the server is offline or online, but that it is applied to the live-version of the server. "Live" means something different than offline/online, "live" stands for the current in use user-version.Red_Feather wrote: »purple-magicb16_ESO wrote: »honglatongla wrote: »Guess hotfix means something else nowadays.

It totally does mean that!

So "hotfix" is a term which means an immediate fix needs to be applied to the live server. The linked article even states that same thing.
