I then went to my Games and Software Library under My Account. Once there I was able to view the product keys associated with my preorder. I used the game key listed there to place into the Enter A Code option on the Account page of ESO. I hope this will help others with this issue.
This game launch is extremely bad compared to any other MMO I've played so far just because of this subscription requirement.
I preorderd from greenmangaming and the only key I have it the one I entered for my preorder. Entering that just spits out an "Invalid Code" message. Completely ridiculous that you have to enter a key again to set up your subscription. How would I even have Early Access if I didn't buy the game...
The same goes for Green Man Gaming - go to the website - log on and check your games and you will find 3 codes - take the one you haven´t used and enter that one. Then everything works.
This isn´t ESO´s problem but Green Man Gaming that missed the mail where they should have informed you of the missing Game code.
I bought from them aswell - and now the sub-screen shows on my computer
Hope it works for you

Bought this box of the eBay.
there are 2 codes in the game box...1 is for the explorers pack the other is for the game..you have to do the game code first..set up sub..then do the explorers pack codeBlackAdder wrote: »I've got the same problem as everyone, it seems. Got the game from Amazon, and they sent me the early access code, which worked perfectly. The physical copy of the game arrived on Friday, with another code in it. When I log in to my account, and go to "Redeem Code" it tells me "This product requires The Elder Scrolls Online". No idea what to do now. On Amazon there is nothing, and I'm not seeing anything helpful in the ESO FAQs...

What version of the game did you buy? Is it a physical or digital copy? If it's a physical copy, did you actually receive the physical game box? If it's a digital copy, have you actually received an e-mail from your retailer containing your full game registration code?
