The problem for me is that the "missing" slots had inventory. I had 480 Bank Slots filled with items. I had let my ESO Plus lapse on this account so I couldn't add anything more but I could still withdraw any of the 480 items. When I logged on after the Nerfmire update, my Bank said I only had 240 items in my bank. Apparently the game had removed 240 items and tried to redistribute them among my character's personal inventory slots. Many of my alts are mules with already full inventories, so I don't know if everything got redistributed or if some was lost to Oblivion.
Dude, if they lost people’s gear in their database omfg
There better be some pretty heavy compensation if they don’t want to lose millions of $ from their playerbase

Just to know, any response ?

I thought mine was the same but not sure. What I don't know (because I didn't check my internet usage) is that after that download when it's running through 50gb or so of data and saying "applying patch" or something, is that downloading all that or just running through the eso data that's already on our pc's to add the patch?
A while back I thought it was downloading, but recently not so sure. I should've checked really.

Running through the ESO files on your HDD locally that is - it is near to data transfer rate of your HDD - which is displayed as MB/s whilst the patch is applied.

You are saying, that eso runs worse than eso?

What is this downtime starting an hour ago that you speak of.
I have not been able to log in for hours. I keep getting the message the server is down for maintenance. I even restarted CP and launcher a few times just in case.
So, again:
The servers were up, but there were issues introduced by the Murkmire DLC. So, while they allowed people who had already signed in to stay signed in, new sign-ins were disabled. The server has since been taken down for a two-hour maintenance.
This is explained in the thread pinned in the announcement bar.
Obviously you missed the OP that was quoted there.Dude, if they lost people’s gear in their database omfg

Bank technically has 480 slots, but non eso+ players have acces to only 1-st half of the bank, so i believe we will not lose any items.

Is any other PC user on NA server having this issue?

OK found a fix. After running repair and it still had the same problem, crashed trying to login. OK I found the problem and it is NOT a unknown problem and ESO needs to fix this ASAP. I found that the "new update" was indeed 41gb as I stated in another thread. It was NOT 3.2gb as they stated for me. My game was 40gb before and 81gb now. After it installed the 40 GB of data it left the open space as less than 80 gb as the game requires AS OPEN SPACE ON THE DRIVE. Not 80gb of space for the game, 80gb of FREE space on the drive. When the game starts up it runs a minimum system check for the game, since there was only 75GB left as OPEN space on the drive (SSD) it failed the check so the game "crashes". It lies to you and says the game as crashed. It has NOT crashed, it has failed to pass the OPEN space test on startup and the game then STOPS LOGGING IN, thus giving the FALSE crash report. I had to delete another game on the drive to open up enough space to pass the OPEN space check the game performs on start. I hope that helps someone else who is having crash on start problems with the new patch. Check your freespace is at least 80 GB of OPEN space on the drive. Good luck and take care!

My question is, what is "wrip-off stuff"?
