Sprint Bug

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
    • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
    • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
    • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
    • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
    • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours
    • Fix body sliding after cc breaking too quickly
    • Remove Block Casting through Battle Spirit

    It’s the same mechanism as the block bug, which does for block what sprint bug does for sprint. Block bug is far easier to recreate.. long story short, for one reason or another your client is failing to send a message to the server that you are no longer holding down the “block” or “sprint” toggle.

    The block bug should be easier for them to isolate, fixing one will fix the other.

    The cause was the patch that “moved a few passives from server to client to improve performance in cyrodil”

    While i think that a mini load screen is certainly one of the mechanism that blocks the client from sending the "sprint toggled off" command to the server, I'm sure that there are other mechanisms. That's very interesting though that you've managed to isolate one of the causes. This is great progress.

    Yea i didn't mean to say there cannot possibly be other causes. Its just that this one (the loadscreens) is very obvious - i regularly get two or even three when riding from dragonclaw to bruma, in rapid sequence. And the "stuck in sprint" bug only manifested for the first time for me at the same time the patch which caused the loadscreens went live.

    The sprint bug doesn't just happen in PVP. For me, it happens anywhere that I use puncturing sweeps. And it doesn't just happen if you are already using sprint. I am not sprinting. I am standing still doing the pokey, pokey and all of a sudden I am in sprint and can't use any skills or do anything. This doesn't happen every time that I use puncturing sweeps but it happens often.

    Thank you for putting this in a video. Hopefully someone from the "we have removed this comment because it could hurt someones feelings" team will see this and inform relevant departments to take a look at this. Sprint bug + Block bug + resource drain bug happens so often to the point that solo cyrodil players have no chance of surviving a battle. or sustain for 20 seconds for that matter.

    It always affects me in huge battles where I rarely use sprint anyway. I just hope they get it sorted asap.

    Just include pressing shift twice periodically in your rotation. I believe this issue will take a long time to get properly fixed.

    Pretty absurd this issue still isn't fixed. Absolutely kills the PVP experience.
