No, definitely did not know that. That's a really good heads up. Do you know how it works if you learn other motifs later?

For dyes, do you mean for the outfit system only as well? Because I'm fairly certain that right now, in game, my main can't use the werewolf achievement color even though I have an alt that's a werewolf.

It works for motifs you learn later as well, don't worry.

As for dyes... every dye you've unlocked via achievements should be usable by all of your characters on that account and server. That's how it worked since dyes were first introduced.

Ah, thanks. In the achievement listings the colors are grayed out so it looks like they wouldn't be usable, but I tried it and it worked.

That does mean it makes even less sense that buying an "outfit slot" is character only, as someone else pointed out. If everything else appearance related is account-wide, that should be too.

You can add my name to the list of people who really thinks Hide Helmet needs to be fixed, as well.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but the deadric red (should be a dark one) and the red for crafter level 10 (should be a intensiv red) are complety the same. I tested it on different styles but both are always dying in the same color.
      Should it be like that?

Hoping this is the appropriate place to post this... Anyway, I think the outfit system needs a favorite function. There are such a huge amount of styles. Its nice that there are so many possible combinations, but it is not easy to navigate. I find that while sampling different styles: A) it's hard to remember which ones I did or didn't like; B) for what I do remember, I am rarely able to recall where a given style is located in menu (i.e. on the grid of possible styles in the outfit station menu). I end up getting burned out and just not changing the outfit.

A favorite function, even something that just allows us to highlight certain styles in the menu (like...put the cursor on it and press a button to surround it's menu icon with a box, or something like that), would be a huge help. And i'd bet it wouldn't be particularly time-consuming to implement. I really don't want to get out a notebook or open a word document to keep track of this stuff...it just feels silly =/

It would also be nice if players could group styles into categories (i.e. these are the styles I like for my nature-themed character; these are the ones for my warrior guy; these are for my evil sneaky one), and it would be even cooler if we could run a randomize function within these categories to find new combinations we might not have thought of, but will still probably like. But hey, this is reaching. Please at least just let me highlight stuff at least :)
