typicly we nightblades stay with assassinations and thief type guilds that leads us to worshiping sithis and / or Nocturnal type worship.

Assassins would worship Mephala or Sithis typically. Nightblades use Night/Blood magic. Nightmagic is probably the most powerful form of magic due to how it can shape the world and how little is known about it. Blood magic is pretty self explanatory. Nightblades do not worship one god just as a templar doesn't worship one Aedra.

I think what was meant is that a templar doesn't necessarily have to worship one aedra/templars in general don't necessarily worship one specific aedra.


As has already been mentioned, classes aren't factions/cults/whatever. Even if nightblade is meant to mean "assassin," "assassin" is still understood to be a class, not a faction. Assassins in the Dark Brotherhood likely worship Sithis and the Night Mother, whereas assassins in the Morag Tong might not worship anyone because they are basically purely contractual. Some assassins from the DB might not even worship Sithis and simply work in the faction because of reasons xy and z (Astrid from Skyrim, for example). One assassin might worship Sithis but be a member of the Morag Tong because he can't/doesn't want to be/etc be a member of the DB for reasons ab and c. And so on and so on

Another nightblade/assassin might not be a member of any faction/whatever but worship one or more daedric princes. Nocturnal as explored in Skyrim and even Oblivion is typically worshipped by thieves or associated with thievery, and not all thieves necessarily worship her.

Nightblades practitioners of shadow magic, besides of other avenue of magic such as School of Illusion or School of Mysticism.
