Its half true. In cases like this one, they released a patch on PC yesterday that did not fix anything. This means that a more robust fix MAY make its way to console. However, this is not generally the case. When things are released broken on PC, such as BG queues, console players get the exact same bugs. Often, a fix will be implemented on PC for an issue and console players will get the busted version and then have to wait a month or more for the PC fix. So depending on the narrative or the level of trolling and flaming you're pursuing, you can argue either way. As a general statement, it is largely incorrect.

Xbox one x will as good as most high end pcs if not better it will render true 4k gaming and 60 fps or better depending how dev choose to use the extra power all you need to do is look at the specs buddy

Don't feed the "PC Master" trolls. And especially don't feed them with advertised specs for the One X. I've always played on console, but I am by no means a fan boy for one platform over the other. Honestly, if the One X delivers 50% of what is actually advertised when its actually in use I will be surprised. The PS4 Pro was supposed to revolutionize gaming, and it never lived up to the performance metrics advertised. The One X is highly unlikely to outperform the PS4 in any appreciable way. I'd love for it to, but to get similar performance on a PC, you would need a graphics card that costs more than the entire console. So they're definitely going cheap on the build somewhere (I see red rings of death in the future). But that's all just speculation. And not the point of this thread anyways.

TLDR: Console players are well aware of the console certification process. The console certification process excuse doesn't even fit, since Gina told us they weren't submitting it ASAP, but sticking it in a scheduled incremental instead. All us console players want is to get emergency patches for completely broken content in a timely fashion. If it costs ZOS money, then oh well. That's what they get for releasing busted content despite being warned.

Lol it already has they showed it off it it's up to dev to use the extra power but it's deff there

And I'm not hating on Sony I have a ps4 pro I love the ps4 for the exclusives but the pro was a joke I only got it cuss it was only sale it barley hits 4k and like ark dev said "xbox one x getting ultra pc setting while ps4 pro sadly just can't handle that but they have increased textures"

The game was designed to be played on PC. Play the game how it was designed to be played and you will be fine.

Consoles are now based on the same architecture as a mid level PC, get with the times.

Since when does "based on" mean equal?......There is no console that even comes close to the horsepower or versatility of a PC. It's true that game consoles are dumbed down, use specific PC's, if that's the point you were trying to make.
Actually most PC which people use are lower spec than consoles.Only the very High end PC are better than most console but for the vast majority of PC user they use PC that are weaker than a console in terms of horse power.

They showed you what they wanted you to see. Its advertising and hype right? PS4 Pro showed us some great 4k footage when they were launching, and it turns out that yeah, you can get it, but the games crash a lot and the consoles overheat. Hell ZOS showed off awesome Battleground footage at twitchcon or whatever right? Look where we are. Don't be fooled by marketing or advertising. I'm not saying the Xbox One X is going to have issues or not live up, I'm saying be careful fanboying for it or hyping it until its actually in the hands of end users.

Yes back on topic that what we hope to accomplish here the way the patches are handled for conclave it terrible we just want are content to work in a timely manner not delayed to save them money so they can bundle patches we pay the same amount as pc I purched morrowind to play BG and on console it is still launch patch it's barely playable

Shhhh don't tell them that this comment has nothing to do with the topic of this thread and is also largely wrong. C++ is C++. The primary difference between PC and console has to do with permissions into and out from libraries. Once the main code has been ported (idk, like an established game that has been on all platforms for 3 years), the difference is marginal. So the existence of things such as the Universal Windows Platform, which is a common application platform for EVERY device running Windows 10, kind of invalidates your statement.

Also has nothing to do with the time to receive a patch, which again, is the topic of this thread.

I think the whole problem is that Zos tried to reinvent the wheel and come up with a brand new way of doing a server and it didn't work. They should have just done what other games have done. Now, they don't know how to fix it. Heck, the original server developers probably are gone so none of our stuff will get fixed - ever.

When I played wow, there were times when they would take their servers offline for 24-48 hours. Yes it was a pain, but when we logged back in, the whole thing was completely fixed. I am sure people would be willing to do this if Zos would fix the entire game. I still don't think they know how to fix their entire game.

I have to agree with the op.. as a ex pc eso player that now plays on console I'm tried of being shitted on by Zemimax.. how long did we have to wait for in game chat.. that still missing features that other games have.. like link item + chat in same line with out having to use a mouse keyboard... how long did we have to wait for simple timers.. or addressing issues like the UI memory leak of the buzz lock up that has been there now for 2 years and we can't even get a dev to reply to it.. now the pausing issue with the random looking for group system that's now plaguing the system and still no response to that. Yet all we get are excuses that its sony and xbox delaying the patchs.. when other MMO and even non mmos can get emergency patchs in timely minors.. When Zenimax goes around bragging that there are 10 million ESO accounts with a large amount of those on console... what do console players need to do.. boycott the game to get them to pay attention.. hell we don't have a simple search for traders.. why should they make one.. I mean PC players have 3rd party programmers to do it for them.. while console players are thrown under the bus.

This is something I should mention I think add ons are what hurts us console people a lot cuss zeni looks at is as hey pc just uses add on so we don't need to make these and console bin dealing without since launch so they are fine.

I know I was to but this is enough. They made us pay 40$ on top of a eso plus fee, and didn't make it dlc apart of eso plus or available threw crowns. Now it does not work and instead of giving a fix witch may not totally fix it, but is still a heck of a lot better then how it is now on console witch is still at day 1 morrowind patch, they are going to hold it for a month to save some money on cert and bundle with the next incremental.

The one advantage I get out of receiving updates after PC release is that I know what bugs I need to be prepared for and what fixes I can look forward to. Releasing the updates on PC before console does not mean issues don't reach console, just that we get them at a later date.

I will admit that I like to look at the PC release notes so I know what to expect when things come to console and I am generally aware, through using the forums, of most issues we are likely to face.

Maybe this means that PC users get to be 'guinea pigs' but it definitely does not stop console users from getting the same bugs.

XB1X specs are on par with a mid-level gaming PC (GPU is usually the equivalent of an X60 Nvidia card). Consoles always release as mid-end gaming PCs. The XB1X is no different (most games will still be running at 30 fps). The cost to create an actual "high end" console would be enormous. Console manufacturers use cheap hardware and then game devs optimize games to squeeze out every last drop of performance from the hardware.
