Sorcerer pets not regaining Health out of combat.

Sorcerer pets are not regaining health anymore. Not sure if this was intended or if this is a bug. Nothing was in the patch notes about it so I'm just assuming it's a bug.

Yep, my pets are not regaining health either. Sent a bug report yesterday in-game and haven't had a response yet.

THAT'S what changed! I haven't really been paying attention to their health bars between engagements (is there a way to do so without having to run the crosshairs over them?), but they seem to die really quickly when we just begin fighting the next group of monsters- certainly faster than before the patch. It's a bit of a letdown, particularly at the same time as the QoL change that means I don't have to resummon them every single time I change zones or enter/leave a cell.

ZOS giveth, and ZOS taketh away. It's a net-neutral change if you don't use pets. If you do, it's a...well, I'm not even sure on that one. I'll get back to you.

Been happening to my pets too :-( Simple fix is to heal them after every fight. And I do wish they had a health bar too.

I believe this is all pets. I've seen warden bears running around with less than max health that weren't regenerating either.

They do have health bars, its a setting you need to toggle in the menus.. maybe under combat? I forget exactly where.

It's most likely a bug and I hope they will fix ASAP! The Clannfear was only useful for the tankyness and resistance, it's now DEAD!

Plus downgraded AI and stupid aggro. The ability is now completely useless.

Here my very-unhappy post about the Clannfear and other users reporting the issue.

There is also a link in there of another discussion about all the pets, there are a lot around by now and no answer yet!

Same for the twilight matriarch, it was a good burst heal in pvp, but now its always dead because it runs stupid in the siege, i call it back and it rans immediately back when i attack someone, thats stupid! It dies so fast now that a pet build is not viable at the moment in pvp. It was great befor the "update"

Fixed an issue where summoned pets were not being affected by the healing reduction of Battle Spirit. They will now all receive 50% less healing in PvP areas.

It's the only thing about Pet and Health that i've see on the patch note , if sorc pets are not regaining health anymore... it's maybe a bug they added with this nerf .

I hope this wasn't Inteded because:

    - Sorc tank ( i talk about pve ) have been nerf cause of the Dark deal nerf ... if you take an oneshot attack when you using this skill which will last longer ... you will die .
    - And now , they nerfed our Tanky pet ...

What are we supossed to do now ? our particularity that make us a liitle good at tank .. are nerfed ...

same thing about the heal sorc ...

So , my question isn't " why did they nerfed pets " but " Where is the interest of nerf the possibility of a class to tank or heal , when this class is already underpowered at these role ? "

I have noticed the same problem with my Clannfear - since the penultimate update.

Since the update I have to persistently activate the Clannfear's 'heal' in order to keep him alive during combat. Before the update, I only needed to activate the Clannfear's 'heal' on rare occasions when my Character needed healing.

At the end of combat I must activate the heal again, in order to fully replenish his healthbar. Prior to the update, his healthbar would replenish itself.

I did wonder whether it had something to do with the general buffs and debuffs that came into the game but I cannot readily locate the developers' notes that dealt with the matter.

The warden bear also doesn't recover it's health out of combat.

Same here for my clannfear using bowbow stamsorc. The real problem for her is that the clannheal takes nearly half her tiny blue bar so it is a big deal, cannot be spammed and potentially could push her into retirement.

And also from what I have noticed is they are now during from Boss aoe. They never have before. Or maybe it just seems that way because they don't have the health anymore.

    The pet changes suck.

The AI was already by far the worst I have ever played in any game, and now it's even worse.

I don't want my pets auto attacking from HA. I don't want them attacking my target if I've given them a specific command to attack a different one.

I had no issue with the attack/passive commands prior to the change in my PvE/Maelstrom HA farm sorc.

It's bad enough that they dissapear on any vertical change, and don't reappear until there's been significant horizontal movement. (Usually requiring a time intensive recast -not copacetic to VMA, and other vet content-) but now they don't even tank worth a ***...

I can't fathom why this was necessary.

For what it's worth to you: I have submitted at least 50 in-game reports about software flaws and malfunctions ("bugs"), and scores more reports about missing, inaccessible, or bugged Lorebooks. However, I have rarely received a response from anyone at ZOS about an evident flaw in the game software. Also, ZOS has never acknowledged any that I have reported in this forum.

That said, a problem with an ability which I reported in-game was remedied about ten weeks afterward. ZOS has also modified the software after I've reported, in-game or in this forum, some other bugs, or design oversights and errors -- occasionally in the next patch, or in some subsequent patch, or in the next major update. To be fair, some bugs have also been reported in this forum by other players, so it would not surprise me if one or more other players also have reported a bug in-game that I've reported in-game, too.

Suffice it to say, though, that many of my reports have not resulted in any change in the behavior of the software, i.e., the bug remains unremedied. There are numerous eyesores and malfunctions that I doubt will ever be corrected.

Customer Service staff members review each in-game bug report (with the attached screenshot, if any), then decide whether to forward it to the developers. There are probably criteria which they use to determine whether an in-game report should be forwarded, but ZOS has not published any criteria of which I have been apprised. Occasionally, a CS staffer has responded via external e-mail to ask for clarification or for more information.

Regardless, ordinarily, a staff member does not send a notice that they forwarded my in-game report to the developers, although it might eventually become evident that the developers were informed about the bug. However, the CS staff has sent written acknowledgements via external e-mail:
    1. after I reported, in-game, a security vulnerability or an evident exploit of a security flaw;
    2. after I reported, in-game, a player who appeared to be using a bot to gather crafting materials;
    3. after I described, in-game, other violations of the Terms of Service in the behavior of one or more players in the course of playing the game.
Ordinarily the response has been simply an acknowledgement that ZOS received the report and will investigate. However, after a report that I sent in the third category, a major part of a Public Dungeon was redesigned to prevent the anti-social behavior of a certain group of players from ever occurring there again. I have no idea whether any participant was either suspended from play for a while, or eventually banned from the game.

Note: sharing my experience here is neither bragging nor complaining, just the facts. The ZOS policies and procedures are what they are. If you think that they can be improved, then please direct your comments to them, not to me.
