NB Weapons

So I am converting my NB into a pure DW Stam build for PvP. I am going to use a 5 piece Hunding set with 2 2 shaildor curse just until I can farm the selene helm and shoulders. Due to Spriggan being so hard to farm or a ton of gold looks for advice on alternative weapons to use in the meantime to make a 5 piece set with weapons and jewelry that aren't as tough to obtain/farm?

Get agility or endurance jewelry and 2 leki's dw. Those pieces are really easy or cheap to buy from people, and and the stats are very efficient for the cost!

I like endurance for medium armor builds and agility for heavy armor, but either works. Endurance for some extra survivability and sustain, agility for damage.

Also I see most of the heavily theorycrafted dw stam builds using one sword and one axe these days. That bleed is nuts.

Got it, thank you for the input and help. Ideally, I want spriggan but the cost and time to farm is ridiculous.

How do you get Leki's weapons? Looks Cyrodil but am not following, sorry still pretty new to PvP.

I always get crafted weapons because farming weapons is terrible.

Spriggans jewellery is pretty easy to obtain, constant dolem running in bangkorai.

If you go on a bargin shopping spree around the world going to the less visited guild stores you should be able to find a couple of pieces of Inpenetrable Spriggans for sale. Inpen is most useful in PVP, more so than Divines for melee builds (unless ganking). You can buy lower quality gear and upgrade with any mats you have. You don't have to gold your gear (purple is fine) Golding your weapons is more important.

Thanks for the tips. I just got a 5 piece Hunding's Rage to purple from white. I went with a Leki sharpened sword and got that to purple with mats since I already had an Axe (forgot the set) but is sharpened and a nice weapon. Grabbed Leki's rings as well to get the set bonuses. Will get spriggans overtime I suppose.

Two sets that compliment DW that not many people use is sergeants mail and shield breaker. Easy to farm, just time( or money for shield breaker). Another is sunderflame. They all proc twice with heavy attacks I believe. Just another idea.

Hum. My main is a stamblade, and I often use Hundings as a base set. Given that you don't want to farm or spend, eliminating BIS gear, really any drop set that looks attractive to you is viable.

FYI, I don't love the Selene set. Maybe ask more expert players before farming extensively, but I like my Velidreth WAY more for a melee stam. Or kraghs...the one piece bonus is the best one piece of any set, 2100 phys penetration. But with Selene I found it to proc inconsistently and less.

For the other set, though, I like Briar Heart, but that's a long farm. Vipers sting is great...it's expensive. A set often ignored...but I found to be cheap and easy to get...is Archer's Mind. Weirdly, it's not a bow set. 5% increase to crit damage, not bad for a melee Stamblade.

Yeah, when i saw those sets I instantly thought endurance = stam pvp and agility = stam pve, for the same reasons you've given.

As for easily obtainable sets, can't go far wrong with night mothers gaze (obviously no jewellery).

Just farm spriggans. It's worth it. I had to buy one sword but the other I got to drop. Took me a month-Ish. But I also don't spend my life on the game. I'm sure some intrepid gear farmer could get it in 3 days. 5 hundings 5 spriggans 2 troll king is a good one (heavy armor build). A person actually just posted that build in the forums under pvp. You should give it a look.
