    Please ZOS, nerf this skill.
    It's doing too much damage.
And now ALL templars just spam this ***.

I lobbied during the PTS for a lower burst value but a small-moderate DOT over the 6 seconds but ZOS wasn't interested...

It's just 10170 damage for 6 seconds of copied damage. What is so wrong with it?

Curse + Frags is more dangerous, powerful and reliable way to kill.

I agree that it's strong but it's not stronger then curse and it can not be stacked like curse.

But just like curse there is not much counterplay when you get zerged down and that is bad. The only counter for both is templar with purify or group with some1 that use purge.

That some no-damage healbot can put it on you and it'll still hit for that 10k if enough of his friends are hitting you. Perfect Xv1 tool...

There's also no counter whatsoever, since it goes through block.

Counter is purge and all mitigation types including los, kite and healing to the maximum HP.

@Valencer strangely the final burst can also be dodged. It seems weird to me but probably intended. Everything @Ashamray listed also works.

Don't think it's intended. I'll check magicka morph tonight, but I'm almost sure it is undodgeable.
Backlash belongs to dot type damage (I made some tests), and dodgeable dot that has already been applied is broken and should be fixed.

That would make sense @Ashamray. I have seen my PotL get dodged countless times now - probably the same logic that made BJabs dodgeable but PSweep undodgeable over the previous several patches. Wrobalance XD

POTL is arguably the only thing that is making stamplars relevant right now in PvP. I'm very excited to be running it on my build and having some actual fun 1vxing again. The fact that it is dodge-able creates plenty of a counter, coupled with the fact that 33% of PvP consists of templars (stam or mag) who can purge it. I certainly hope that ZoS doesn't nerf this ability into the ground with morrowind or an incremental patch, because with the upcoming removal of warlord you can GUARANTEE that stamplars will once again be completely unable to sustain. If they are unable to BURST as well, you can say bye bye to the spec.

I understand your fear being without Warlord @Liam12548. I've been playing in Azura's since the No-CP event and almost everyone runs out of resources eventually there, which is awesome, but Stamplars struggle more than the other classes by a mile 1v1. It's generally tolerable open world where things are dying though. More people use Engine Guardian in Azura's too, and every time I see it proc I silently rage at @ZOS_RichLambert and his posse that I can no longer Repentance those little critters.

Where do you get that number ?

    More like

    40% dk
    40% sorc
    10% nightblade
    10% templar

I see alot of stamblades. Always. Everywhere. More than magplars (Half+ of whom are healers, few pure DD's) and much more than stamplars.

That's just my experience with haderus on XB NA. Perhaps it's exaggerated, perhaps it's underrated. Just establishing the point that there are several hard counters available against POTL, and that I feel nothing shouldn't be changed about the skill (I've mained stamplar for 6+ months and I feel that it should REMAIN dodgeable)

I'm extremely upset about the engine change. I loved playing engine repent spec stamplar, but without being able to repent I find I get more consistent sustain out of 1 kena 1 bs or 2 bs. Yeah, stamplars have always struggled with sustain. Even this patch, where we got the biggest sustain buff yet "cheaper undodgeable jabs" sustain can still be difficult (especially against multiple enemies) unless you have a constant source of repent. When we lose our cost reduction, both JABS and JAVELIN are gonna be extremely expensive to use. Stamplars will be forced to run very high recovery to sustain, thus losing a ton of damage and severely hurting most stamplars builds that are viable right now. I certainly hope there is something added by way of sustain with the new champ point nodes, because if not I may consider switching my long time main to something much easier to play (almost any other spec).

Really this skill should only apply to the damage the person applying it does. It would still give templars burst, it would still work in PVE because the damage it does to a boss pales in comparison to what the dedicated DPSers are doing -- but it would limit its OPness as an Xv1 tool.
