Which trait do you prefer on restoration staves for a PvE healer and why?

I've always stuck to one particular trait on my healer's restoration staves (I won't mention which to avoid influencing the poll), but I'm wondering if I should switch.
I included the less common choices in the list just to be thorough and it's in the same order as they appear at the forge BTW.

Feel free to elaborate as to why.

EDIT: This is for PvE.

I swap a lot between powered and precise depending what build i'm using but powered gives the better heals overall in my experience.

Been great to have healers help with up time on Minor Vulnerability with concussion rather than IA and so Charged on both bars and using Lighting Destro back bar with Wall of elements and a shock glyph gives great up time on it, but since you lose the Charged effect if you move back to your Resto if you don't have that as well I've done Charged on both. Not having to use IA and getting more options out there have been great. And the up time has been good too.

Job one is healing and Powered helps that. Not saying it is the best answer, just that is my simple reasoning.

    Defending.

Healing is already too strong anyway. You've got DD's with their own shields/damage mit + tank & off-tank using Igneous Shield & Vigor.

I think you should make it clear if this is for PvE or PvP .

My answer was for PvE , considering every healer should be using Master Resto . Stamina return from the Springs is very helpful for Magicka DDs . It allows them to hold block more when it is necessary . For example ; Warrior (Starfall , Shield Throw , Add's Explosion Attack) , Hel Ra Right side Boss (interrupting and blocking) , Rakkhat (Blocking and Breaking Free) , Stone Atronach (Blocking) and many more . Increasing the Stamina return can be very effective for survival purposes .

For PvP , I think Powered is best simply because of the insane incoming damage against groups .

    Can't believe I didn't see that ^^ It's almost 7 am here , didn't sleep . Probably that's why :D

Anyways , Infused ftw if you are using Master Resto , otherwise , Charged or Defending .

Vetern Group Dungeon NB Healer. Double Restoration. Front Staff preferred Sharpened for more Funnel Health Damage. Back bar Staff I currently use Precise to bring my critical chance more in balance with my front bar, as I slot inner light on it.

I don't have any of the fancy DLC equipment so this has worked for me.

    Interesting.
Looks like restoration staves might well be the only weapon in the game that has some decent trait variety.

Good points made on infused masters resto and charged lightning debuff builds that I hadn't considered.

    Anybody got feedback on nirnhoned?

Well , the thing about buffs to healing is , Healing is already very strong in most cases . Powered , Precise , Nirnhorned and other traits that increases Healing done is unnecessary . If you have a way to boost damage , you do it . That's how it works . For example , as paul mentioned , Charged trait can boost DPS by increasing the uptime on Minor Vulnerability and Off Balance . In my group for example , we already have very high uptime on that so we go for a defensive approach . By defensive , I don't mean having high resistances by using Defending weapon . Having Stamina to block , dodge , break free more . Since Magicka players lack Stamina control (especially the ones that use Rearming Trap) and certain fights can hurt their stamina really bad and may result in death due to not being able to block , dodge or break free .

Also , Infused weapon will increase the Max Magicka enchantment on Master Resto as well as the Stamina return . Even though it will not be as effective as a Powered , Precise weapon ; it will increase your healing and shield size due to higher Max Magicka .
