I just imagine my ward and boundless storm disappearing when someone pushes a button.

That's exactly the point of purge it takes your buffs away changes rotations for people and you have to be aware of it

If you put in an ability that does take away self casted buffs, you need to buff the other self targeted buffs so that having them on keeps them useful or still viable for Openworld PvP.

With having a debuffer ability, cast onto a enemy target, you're essentially telling the guy you're debuffing;

'Hey, you can't stand a chance in PvP while I am here!'

the other guy would be forced to think;

'Well why the crap do I run buffs if I can just get hit by this debuffer then one shotted immediately after?'

Adding a debuffer ability would break the game in unconceivable ways, and would change the meta for worser pastures. It gives way way too much power to that one class that would have the ability to cast it.

There are better ways of debuffing an opponent. We have things like that right now like Major/Minor Miam and a lot of the poisons provide debuffs. I think, instead of having poisons have the primary way to debuff, we should put those unique debuffing tools poisons provides and put them else were. Like on abilities we already have that we don't use much. That could be one way of re vigorating some of the lesser unused skills.

I did the majority of buff shearing had 44 nature as a Druid....you were in desolate or which mid PvP guild? I was Angry Elves Hib.

I played with Shux,Defya,Bardoliscious,Leon...we had some great fights back in the day can't replace that type of competitive PvP

Hopefully CU ends up being really good and less rewarding to *** zergballs

Sorry, I only play magicka sorcerer, so if anything, those soft/hard CC's hurt me pretty bad. If you remove those things out of pvp, then your just playing damage/mitigation versus damage/mitigation, aka pretty much whoever does most deepz is winnar, aka pve.
