Purple (or really, any) treasure items and housing

So, a few months ago I decided to start focusing on obtaining the Black Market Mogul achievement. I stole 140 stolen items everyday being sure to only sell green and blue quality items. During my pickpocketing, I stumbled upon quite a few purple items (Almalexia's Lock, Sotha Sil's Blessed Cogwheel, Ruby from the Ruby Throne, pages from the Oghma Infinium, etc.). Being the hoarder that I am, I held onto them. Then Homestead was announced and the ability to display trophies became a thing.
My question is: What is the likelihood that we will be able to display our treasure items in our homes in the future? If that is implemented, would it be retroactive? Should I be holding onto these items or can I get rid of them?

energon✭✭✭Virtually all of the interesting-sounding treasure items would need to be made from scratch, whereas most of the housing items were added from existing art. I would go ahead and sell them to a fence, personally.1 -

Keep and launder the funny ones you would like to link to your guildies and tease them with, such as erotic argonian etchings, wether it is for fun or roleplay they're useful for that purpose only.
