honestly, first 24 hours after patch will be clean-up of stuff holding on to - like surveys - chests maps etc. However, that will come after gathering intel like crown store prices and the like.

Typically i look at the first WEEK of a post-patch period, not the first day because of time for analysis and crowding. I figure by the first clean-up patch after a major patch, i should be in good position to make significant advances..
@STEVIL I've seen multiple people in-game and on the forums say that they're holding onto treasure maps. But as far as I know, only the Craglorn ones will have new loot. Though I haven't been following this PTS cycle as nearly as closely as previous ones--did I miss something?

yeah well basically everything is still in PTS so... there is no downside to hanging on to them in case something changes, right? maybe final release notes add small chance of mcguffins so then i would feel like a complete dumkofp if i used them now for no particular reason.

but hey look, i never turn in those kinds of things near a major release.
just like i hold off respecs and golding any gear... heck havent even deconned anything but trash in weeks... just in case last minute set upticks.

but thats me... to each his/her own.

The fact that it will take months to decorate a house doesn't bother me. Partially because I assumed that would be the case (at least for me) but mainly because it's the only interesting part of the system.

There's very little you can do with a decorated house so if it was possible to finish it quickly I'd finish it and then almost never go back to my house. This way I can build it up bit by bit, adding new stuff as I obtain it.

Although it's going to take me months just to afford a house, by the time I've progressed beyond the free inn rooms the system might have been overhauled several times.

if surveys didn't stack it would be another issue entirely.

IIRC heading into the first open tamriel or the removal of vet levels - where for the first time treasure maps would scale to character not zone or was it the change where gold zones were cp150-160 instead of capping at vet-10 - i had almost every spare inventory slot filled with treasure maps from everywhere and a planned set for "who goes to this zone with what maps cuz its gold for them" etc etc etc...

i mean i had hundreds... spent the month or two before that patch buying every 200gp or cheaper treasure map from guild stores.

By the day before the patch, i couldnt even loot bodies cuz every space full except for small numbers here and there.

But now with crafting bag, more alts, etc... well ok its still filling up.

But you sure dont find many 200gp or less maps in guild stores anymore.

Anyone know how you go about crafting the dps test dummy?

The plan for the skeleton can only be purchased using writ vouchers from the new Mastercraft Mediator for 125 WV. You'll also need an Animus Stone for the recipe. This is also bought from the same merchant for 25? writ vouchers and is needed for each skeleton.

Also takes 206 Bone (a nice touch imo).
