That's not too bad though. Those of us who craft them are used to having to run all over the maps to make them. They wouldn't be able to do that with dlc sets anyway because they would need to keep them separate. But it would be nice to get some storage, at least armor and weapons- a basic functioning armory. Or have it come with certain houses. From what I have seen, the housing here is going to be better than some MMOs where you compete for it which sounds awful.

Enough space and convenience are 2 different things. Since the dawn of the game they've forced you to have mule characters to hold extra items if your bank/bags were already full.

1T hit and people are collecting pieces. It's not a deal breaker for me, it's just something that most of us would deem convenient.

We will get an assistant so that may offer some storage but I think that most people wanted something more.

How about just a "closet" that we can organize armor sets in only? That way crafting materials would still need a craft bag.

They put themselves in this situation, ZOS that is. I assume there's an issue within the game that is preventing storage containers working properly, kind of like all the chairs/tables/beds etc we cannot interact with. The house assistant may be a bandaid on the situation till they figure out how to fine tune the system, if they ever will at all.

I don't need my Armor and Weapon Storage to interact with any other storage. I am more than willing to go back to the house(s) and pull out my stuff. I am even willing to put the burden of remembering which house has what items in it totally on me, which is the way TES Housing has always been anyway.

I just want a place to store my sets and more importantly, my Uniques from Quests. Why have a Unique item if you can't do anything with it but decon it due to storage limitations.

Would I like to see my Trophies in 3D? Sure, but that can wait.

Anything at all that adds to your storage capacity in anyway will detract from the attraction of ESO+... and therefore lower their regular predictable & forecast-able income.

That's why I doubt it will happen, however much feedback there is in this thread.

For the record I would love it if there were storage in the houses... I have a ridiculous amount of armor/weapons and am a hoarder... but I'm almost certain it won't happen for the reasons above... they would be shooting themselves in the foot from a revenue generation perspective, and that's not something ZOS does very often.

Oh... in previous TES games I used mods for either "pocket portal" housing, or placeable shared storage, never had to remember where I'd put anything - that's just asking for trouble at my age.

If they are worried about housing storage cannibalizing crafting bag, they could have it work in same way. If you are an ESO+ subscriber, your house has a closet that can store tons of weapons and armor. If you unsubscribe, you can take things out of closet but not put anything new in. It could work with any house, even the free room at the inn you get for doing intro quest (to prevent it feeling like you need to spend enormous amounts of gold/crowns on a big house even before subscribing to ESO+). And it would fit in with the concept of ESO+ providing quality of life improvements but not being P2W.

Tbh - all the people that say "there's no storage so there's no point" would be just as happy with additional inventory/bank upgrades as they would with housing. This upgrade isn't for you, it's for people like me. I am excited for housing itself.

Why though? I thought I was a hoarder. Just why? Decon or vendor it, any valuable pieces list in a guild store.

There SHOULD be storage allowed in houses. Make it just like bank space with a max of 240 and make it purchaseable with gild and/or crowns.

There that wasn't hard. Now ZOS can make some profit and we can spend some in game gold or every once in a while treat ourselves to a crown housing storage space upgrade.

Just to expand on this some. Extra storage in your home is something we know a number of you would love. It's something we'd love as well, but when we looked at all of the things had to get in for the base system, we had to draw the line somewhere. Additional storage didn't make the cut.

That being said, we are looking at ways to add in additional storage space in the future.
