What is wrong with you people?
You act like nothing ever gets done in stages.
Considering they said there will be over 2,000 furniture and decoration items, I think it would be daft for them not to take the storage of that into account. In Skyrim's Hearthfire, I think furnishings were stored in a separate section that was only accessible during construction. Maybe these items in Homestead will be added straight into the Housing Editor and won't appear in the inventory. (Although that would need to be modified for selling furniture to other players.)frateanu.luiseb17_ESO wrote: »They could implement a housing/furniture TAB with a number of items cap, similar to questing items TAB.
Problem solved.
Malabal Tor comes very close . It's where I park my crafter.Craft stations are what I want, craft everything in one place.
It's ironic that the promotional image is this, a guy with a chest.... xDDD

I see at least a dozen chests and barrels at that house. I guess they're just there for "immersion", since none of them will work. And doesn't everybody carry around a chest? Even if it doesn't work??
Sheesh.
I still think the reason storage in housing (which all MMO's have done for over a decade) didn't make the cut is because ZoS hasn't figured out how to charge for it yet.
there not going to give anything for free now !! crown crates proved that there main goal is to suck money out of everyone till the game dies.. they will give you some housing for in game gold etc...But i bet there will be huge amounts locked behind a pay wall ...wait and seeI believe that features like storage (that can be monetized) but are highly desired by the community SHOULD be given to the community for free.
ZOS has been milking us at every corner and has been losing the community's trust.
It's generosity like this that can restore the community's trust.

I really hope the new housing system gives us some additional storage too!
Honestly, I get the reasons why storage is not allowed, and I can live with it.
However, one way of storage would be nice. If only one of these gets added:
- Crates and barrels, which can only hold a limited amount of small items (provisioning/alchemy/enchanting/fishing stuff)
- Weapon racks and armor stands; limited amount to place, of course, and with options to switch to that gear, once you're home, along with the weapons you've set and skills. Would be nice to come home after a night in Cyrodiil, and then switch to your OP PvE set and skills.
That's my opinion, anyways, but just a house that I can fully decorate myself is good enough for me.

Storage in the houses (Bought for gold) would detract a little from the desirability of craft bags via ESO+ to help with the storage issues.
ZOS needs predictable regular revenue and craft bags are the big draw for ESO + right now... as such I'd be surprised if they did anything to make those less needed/desirable, especially for in game gold, as this will impact the regular revenue stream which is what they need most to carry on.
Not saying I agree with it.... but this would be a big reason when looking at it from a business perspective.
