Poll in game about future updates

I have seen in 1 game great thing, a window with polls to voting for all players who never looking on forum. is poll about 1 bigger (for 1-3 months per only 1 this poll) update like here dlc, 2nd for averge updates(onve by month) like some changes/fixes maybe balances and 3rd for small things like maybe events etc.

this will be great for Zeni, now very very low population of players are on forum, discussing voting etc but if Zeni will add polls to voting FOR ALL PLAYERS(no only percentage of players who are on forums) about significant things in game, updates etc, Zeni then can know more about this what want playing people in this game

Agreed - sending an email with feedback list would be enough too. I hope they do still care .

Disagreed.
The game should be evolving according to ZOS/Rich Lambert's vision.
Nothing consistent would come from the different (self-centered) wishes of hundreds of thousands of players.

not much enough, not all people will send feedback always when they got idea etc :P and some people just can dont know how, about what and how do this feedback, with poll tou will have instantly option what you want and then most of people can vote on something if not all

And how will you ensure people are not just clicking whatever in order to make the poll go away?

And how will you ensure people are not just clicking whatever in order to make the poll go away?

maybe in new tab in menu like backpack, character, skills, journal etc

when new poll will be added then it will be just like notifaction, you can then go to poll or ignore it if you want, you wont be spammed if the most common will be maybe only once per week

At first I thought it is a joke, but then I realised that person had to be serious

It was about a poll, not about wishes....

Then we could end up in a situation like with swg(star wars galaxies ). Was a great game, possibly one of the best I have played.

But with one update, a "combat" upgrade the game went down the toilet. No exaggeration that upgrade literally killed the game. A game with a huge population that was only growing. And because someone thought it was a good idea to change the game so drastically they lost most of their player base fairly quickly.

The few that did remain slowly began to quit until they had to shut the servers down for good.

I can only guess that whoever was running things had too much pride to undo the change that killed the game.

Never a good idea to follow just one person in such decisions, also not a good idea to ignore the player base as the only way the game survives is if the players enjoy playing the game.

Many players do not want something popping up on their screen.

Zos essentially has groups they talk with from more casual to more active players as well as using other avenues to get feedback from the gaming community.

I would be in favor of this. Far too often the vocal minority here has steered the game in the wrong direction with nerfs and other nonsense.

Nope, it just means the account was created back in open beta and I didn't bother changing my forum ID.
I don't agree with everything ZOS decides, but overall I think they're doing a pretty good job and heading the right direction. Do I have to be stupid or paid to think this way ?

You seem to consider "the playerbase" as one consistent entity that agrees on many things. Problem is, the "playerbase" usually just agrees to disagree with ZOS. Everything else, their mileage varies...
