One of the most frustrating things is when I see a stam character take out a mage guard in a split second. I'm not really sure why ZOS thinks it's somehow beneficial when a class under performs at pretty much everything.

    They excel in group play
Could you please explain why? Somewhat off topic but I've seen this tossed around but can't find any exact details. Only one I can think of is Talons, but if I recall it's inferior to Bombard. Would be much appreciated.

@Tonturri talons, deep breath, fossilize, bats, scales, standard, etc. As a tanky build, you can do it a couple of ways. You can be a CC monster with talons to lock players down to be bursted by your group. You can be first into the breech during sieges. With a pocket healer, I've dove headfirst into the breech countless times. Between bats, talons, and deep breath you can be disruptive. Throw on fasallas guile for good measure. Most zerglings will focus on the first person they see, you you'll draw the defenders fire while everyone else wipes them.

Still not as good as a sorc, and this is all mdk has. Encase and negate is death.

@Lokey0024 against magicka classes, sure. But stam just rolls away. Plus encase is directional. I also have a mSorc and streaking around and throwing negate bubbles is fun, but I hate being caught naked without a shield. You melt soooo quickly even with impen armor. I prefer heavy armored DK with bats+talons+deep breath, but to each his own.

I do to. I had a imperial mdk up untill db was nerfed, then rolled a dumner.

What you describe is good for you, but in groups restricting movement and templar super heals is greater benefit then the little hits mdks can inflict.
