Another Cheat/Exploit in Cyrodiil (Ebony EU)

i dont know if this is linked... but ive noticed a similar bug with Stranglers in PvE pulling out of range.

Stranglers can grab you at range right.. but last night i was horsing about and running outside the range of them.. and they would still latch on and try to begin pulling me back.. the animation would start.. id go all the way back to the Strangler.. but then suddenly i'll teleport back to my original position as if i never got hit in the first place..

i suspect like the keeps.. if you initiate the chain before the target is out of range it still follows through and performs the skill but then in PvE it goes oh wait i shouldn't have done that and resets you.

As other people from ZOS have stated in the past, this is indeed an exploit. Can we know what actions are taken against the exploiters?

Also, these exploits are already widespread. Instead of trying to sweep them under the rug, could you possibly get on to fixing them?

These two reds doing this *** over and over, we reported them with 15 ppl but still no answer or activity going on with these two reds. Last time, they farmed lots of players near the nikels gate inside the water with scroll they stole at ash (without sieging keep) by getting slautherfished and executed. ZOS just don't *** care about whats going on inside Cyrodiil, so sad!

People have been able to lotus fan/ambush into keeps as people enter the doors since beta and its still around, I don't see how this can be considered an exploit if Zos does nothing to fix it for this long.

This is such an easy thing for zos to fix,

They should do what they did with the scroll temples,

if the keep walls have been breached,
inner and outer,

Then the flags can be turned and scrolls removed

If not then instadeath.. period.

Or they can just make any teleport/charge obey los..they just *** did it for healing ward...

Well, I know they don't consider take flight or dragon leap as a means of getting in or onto a keep an exploit, so why would chains, ambush, streak, or crit rush be any different. I don't condone the use of these tactics but I've seen some using and just troll or take the keep. There's another way to get inside keep involving the mage guards but that is an exploit and is banable.

Some templars and dragon knights were getting up onto the outer wall last night. We were wrecking their stone trebuchets with our own siege, and being forced to ignore the attack to deal with the exploiters became quite the distraction. Xbox NA, chillrend.

By the way, how does a person download a video from their Xbox feed? I've found no other way to get at it than through the console or the smartphone app.

This exploit has been around the ages and Zeni knows, seems they are unable to address this.

You bring an exploit to someones game, they remove the information but dont address it's problems or a solution, or even thanks for letting me know which is called common courtesy.

Now don't you feel encouraged to do thier work for them? LOL

Yes they did - Cyrodill Alert said Ash naive under no control - we got there to find the person and his buddy about to turn the top flag

Don't know how that happens. I have hidden in keeps after a siege, and once everyone left proceeded to kill everything and tried to flip the flags. Nothing happens.

Yes they do. They have stated plainly that "anything that bypasses the mechanic of destroying walls/doors to get into a keep is considered an exploit."

I could dig up the quote (again) but I don't have the time to search through the forums (again).

I am still skeptical about being able to flip the flags if the keep isn't under attack. Recently at Dragonclaw, DC defended against EP and while the majority of DC followed to clear out the rest of the ep in the courtyard some ep rezzed and tried to flip the back flag. They were killed before guards spawned but after the flag had turned red. The keep was repaired and no longer UA so we couldnt change it back. The results:

Samething happened yesterday on Scourge PS4 EU. Inside an AD keep. No one was in keep. Got confused when I First saw this. One side was AD flag. However the other side was red flag. With AD soldiers. I tried make flag yellow. But red flag was stuck.

Best way to temporarily "fix" exploiting like this, is to tell and show the whole community about this, so everyone are equal. Now if only the exploiters knows how to exploit, they will have an advantage. They wont be punished for doing this anyway, so why not bringing everyone equal to eachother? Why let the cheaters have advantage on purpose?

Understanding? Removing video's on how to do it is not going to fix the problem. ZOS you need to make sure this type of exploit/cheat cannot be done.

Hell yeah, instead of fixing the actual problems of this *** game let's keep acting like nothing is happening. I sent this vid to your Awesome super duper support team to fix it back in the days btw with explanation what's exactly broken, about 7 months ago, but who cares, not you for sure

Sure, let's go ahead and make this about PvE vs PvP. But I'd like to remind you that certain exploits affected both and went unchecked (although widely known) for months, namely the multiple mundus exploit.

I see that is clearly exploiting and has been done for so long now.

If i am fighting outside doors, and ambush my way inside keep, i play on and harass defenders. I cant get out of keep, /Stuck doesn't work, and to force die is out of the question.

This game is riddled with bugs and exploits. ESO response has always been to cheat away, they too broke to ban members that cheat.

First part of this video shows what MAY have happend, i've had similar things with keep walls dissapearing for me aswell. No, i don't know how to replicate it, and no i wouldn't tell you even if i knew how. But it's hilarious when it does happen.
