Poisons = Pay to Win ?

As i thinking about poinsons there are some questions and i want to discuss with all.

Facts:
- Poisons proc very often, around every 1-2 light attack
- 1x poison craft give you 12 poisons
- Poisons are very powerful and seems to be a must have in PvE and PvP
- There are a weaker poison on cash shop

With that facts there are a fear in my head:

Pay to Win.

So poisons will be a must have in PvE and PvP and are very very expansive. The ingrediens will be very expansive. And as a player who cannot farm all day to have the "Must Have" poisons i must get another way.

1. I buy in guild shops
2. I buy via cash shop

The problem i see is the must have. To be competive i must use poisons. So i must cash if i have not the time to farm themselves or have the gold buy ingame.

Are my fears justified?

Not really, you could argue its not possible to be competitive without food and potions but they sell those in the cash shop as well but they give you stronger versions of food, potions and poisons all available only by playing the game so its not pay to win because the only way to be maxed out with the best poisons is to play the game.

It will work the way it's always worked for ingredients/consumables - the people who don't spend all their playtime trying to shave a millisecond off their speed at dispatching mobs or enemies in cyro will wander round collecting stuff, they will then either sell the mats or the end products of crafting to players who don't want to waste their time harvesting mats. Everyone wins. Sure some people will buy the weaker versions from the crown store, but that's their loss (and the min/maxers probably would prefer the player made one anyway). It's not as though this is a new thing.

Besides if you consider that when using poisons your enchantment has no effects, poisons are arguably not so strong, they're slightly strong than a regularly equipped weapon. I don't see it being an absolute necessity, perhaps in PVP (especially if we ever get smaller scale PVP) and just for bosses in PVE. One craft gave me 16 uses, which is a higher ratio than potions and nothing has prevented people of having tons of potions. So I assume the market will soon be so overflowed with poisons that buying them from Guild Stores will be relatively cheap just like a lot of people buy food or pots.

The Winter Scout Outfit lets players blend in better when there is snow around. Definite P2W.

The other players have a mount and I don't because I spend all of my gold on potatoes from the grocer because my character gets hungry. Now all I can do is buy one for crowns. P2W.

The other player has a scamp pet and it scared me so much that I fell off my chair and he killed me. I can only get one in the cash shop. P2W.

My level 10 character isn't competitive in CP, pop-locked campaigns, and I don't have time to level. The only way I can level is to buy scrolls in the crown store and quit my job to stay at home and level to become competitive. P2W.

    ...

Poisons and their associated reagents are available to everyone - crown store does not and AFAIK will never sell BiS consumables. If you want them then do what everyone else does - farm mats or make gold and buy them. If someone has paid money for crown store poisons then they haven't paid to win. They've paid to obtain poisons that are kind of okay but not as good as those who put time in.

so if stronger versions are in game which will be sold on guild traders and drop in price eventually etc

and a weaker version is on crown store which will cost a lot of crowns and majority of high end players wanting the most damage, which at this point I'd say is a lot of people.

Doesn't that cancel out pay 2 win?
