Why can't assult and support lines be unlocked by doing pve and pvp be able to unlock pve n pvp

    I would love to if the PVE in this game was fun which in my opinion it's not.This game has some of the best Combat system and PVP I every played when it working.The PVE lacks substances and doesn't have that TES feel.Also the dungeons in this game make me want to blow my brains out.

    fighters guild, mage guild unteunted and war skill lines DONT levle up if you have skills slotted.
    you need to do the things what are required to do to level it up.

    mage guil: books
    fighters : undead and dolmens
    untauned: dungeons and its achievments
    war skills: pvp (= getting AP)

    you wont get more progress in skill line if you have a skill slotted

    not entirely true. i leveled up, morphed and maxed out rapids/retreating in wrothgar doing daily quests.

    didn't take long at all, once i realized it could be done.

    Can not wait; just can not wait;

    Till they introduce the mister helm vendor in Cyrodil no less and all they PVP players with AP burning hole in their bank go ham twice a week and buy there perfect best in slot set up helm and shoulders.

    Then you will find the threads; why can't we earn Undaunted in Cyrodil for their perfect passives and max stats.

    There will be tears but when PVP players cry its not crying it's how a PVP man cleans his face using his own water and PVP females it's just the mascara

    Yeah i know what u mean. I have about 200 vet dungeon clearances and it starts becoming repetitive and boring but the rng system is what forces us to run it for the helms etc. Still no engne guardian shoulders lmao.

    Anybody got a group? LFG, anybody? Hello?

    Year I haven't ran no where near that many Dungeons but I guess I was on a hot streak last week.I helped a buddy farm Spindle Clutch for Bloodspawn and we both got the helm him a Heavy piece and me medium well fitted piece.You won't hear me complaining make a full set of Vet 16 well fitted armor for scroll running with that set.Plus I finally got the 75 CP points and put them all into tumbling to get the chest passive and I got Heavy Molag Lena Shoulders infused.So now I don't every have to do them again until I get my sorc to Vet16.

    I've kept my mouth shut on this issue for a while now, and I'd for once like to put in my 2 cents.

    Ever since I started this game at release and again in early 1.5, I've seen the need for Alliance War skills in PvE. As I'm a PvE'er at heart, I'm absolutely garbage at PvP. Now with this in mind, I'm still going to support PvPers in their reasoning for why these skills shouldn't be unlockable through PvE. If they do, PvPers will have nothing left to themselves.
    This is a 2part game. If you cannot handle the "grind" to get the rewards from one side of the game, you don't deserve it either.
    I think opening Monster Helmets to PvPers for gold/AP is a slight crappy move as PvE'ers aren't getting much out of it... Most of us have these helmets in tenfold with the traits we want, but it's still a good idea. Both sides of the game will benefit from it somewhat equally (PvPers moreso than PvEers), but we still have both our sides of the skill-lines.
    PvPers have to do PvE to gain Fighters Guild, Mages Guild and Undaunted. PvEers still have to do PvP to gain Alliance War skills. Both sides take up quite a bit of time, but none of them are a necessity - they're optional elements of the game which benefit in various degrees.

    Stop the QQ spree about this crappy "give PvEers easy PvP skills" nonsense. You're embarassing yourself.

    I understand the ops message but I think theres another solution. I recently got magicka det on my dk and of course im going to want it on my sorc. Im going to want skills on my magicka Templar and stam nightblade as well. I think the ap between levels in the support and assault trees should be reduced. What harm is it in that. If you love pvp You're gonna pvp reagardless if those skill lines are maxed out or not. If you hate pvp but are only there for ap to unlock skills it gets you in and out of cyrodil faster and out of the way of the try hards. Also it wouldn't affect the gear you can buy or upcoming monster helms because you just keep the prices the same and make players have to tough it out if they dont like pvp.

    If there was true PvP gear sets and stats separate from PvE gear their argument about monster helms could be more cohesive.

    I do not object to PvP players having access to the items from the proposed merchant(until the merchant is in the game it is only proposed) . this is due to the fact that IMHO PvPer's should not have to do PVE content to obtain the best in slot gear , or skills for their PvP builds , I also do not feel that PVEer's should have to engage in PvP content to obtain the best in slot gear , or skills for their PVE builds . The developers do not share that view so they did not set up the game to support players only having to engage in the play style that is the individual players preference to obtain what they perceive to be the best in slot gear and skills for their builds .

    Again, your point would be more cohesive if there was separate gear lines.

    No player should be forced into anything. PvP is separate from this game because a good chunk of people don't do it. There is PvE skill sets and a couple PvP skillsets. You must do each to level them up.

    Gear is spread across the same aspects. You can PvP to obtain gear in mail (mostly Poo items)

    I'd like to think you just don't want one type of player having access to content that is shared between the two types of player bases.

    I would hope that I was clear when I stated that I do not think that PvP players should have to do PVE content to get what they want for their builds , and that I also do not think that PVE players should have to engage in PvP to obtain what they want for their builds . That includes item sets and the various skill-lines from both types of content . I would like for all players to have access to all skill-lines , and itemization while only feeling required to play the content they prefer and enjoy the most (i.e. PvPers only doing PvP to obtain what they want , with PVEer's only doing PVE content for what they want ).

    I also acknowledge that the Developers did not set up the game to support that method of game play , they instead have it set up so that if there is something from PVE that you want for PvP then you have to engage in PVE , and if there is something you want that is in the PvP content you have to engage in PvP to obtain that . I don't like that set up , but it is not game-breaking for me .

    Gear from PvE is also used in PvP. It is NOT PvE only gear. Simple as that

    where did I say that was not the case , I said PvP players should not have to do PVE to get what they need for PvP , and the same applies to PVE players .

    I then point out that the developers do not have it set up for players to focus on the play-style that they prefer (i.e. PvPer's being able to obtain the gear and skills they want for PvP with out doing any PVE and the same for PVE players).

    To get mage's guild, fighter's guild, and undaunted all maxed out combined takes a fraction of the time that assault and support take. If they took roughly the same amount of time, it would be understandable. I have spent the time to max all of these, so I'm not just spouting nonsense.

    Both Factions of playstyle have complaints about the other. PVPers whined about having to do PVE to get monster helms. PVEers whine about not being able to level a skill line without a massive time sink in PVP. The monster helm thing is getting addressed (which is frankly ridiculous that you get a monster's head without having to kill that monster). Why not address the Assault/Support Skill lines which take about 20 times longer than any other skill line in the game to max out. I'm not necessarily for being able to level assault/support in PVE, but I will support shortening the time required to max these skill lines out drastically.

    I honestly believe that there should be things you can only get from pvp and things you can only get from pve, but since PVP is about to get it all, it's only natural that PVE asks for a similar treatment.

    Careful for what you wish . I can see Zos up the amount of exp needed for Mage,fighter and undaunted and to be honest it would be fine
