It kinda sorta makes perfect sense. People who care about unique rewards get shafted - but it's great for those who just want rewards because they can choose what they like instead of something they'd never use. For example, I strongly dislike the ice wraith, I'd rather have taken the pig instead, but nope, I had to go looking for it on eBay. I have 240 days purchased for (and 65 of those days are still left on my active subscription). If I purchase a game card with 60 days I will have total of 300 days prior to match 16th, and they have all been payed for. So that means I get the shiny mount, yes? I dont know how they could make it any clearer. You have to have been subscribed for 9 months prior to the march relaunch.0 -

We want Dev's clarification as to whether the time needs to be elapsed or not.
If not, we want to point out how devastating it would be for those who paid additional time with certainty that both the Loyalty Mask and the Mount will be granted, find out once Unlimited launches, that only the Mount arrive via mail.
We want to know soon so we know whether we can cancel the 3 months subscription that I have already inputed. Without the mount, having prepaid that much does not mean a thing.
P.S. You keep insisting that Dev "said" the time needs to be elapsed. The quote you mentioned could be read and interpreted in many ways. Until Dev says "yup, The Antiquarian, only those who were subscribed and HAD THEIR SUBSCRIPTION TIME ELAPSED, qualify. The only reward they gave where they allowed that is the senche mount which is not part of the original loyalty program and they made different rules for it. You already have your answer. Turns out I was wrong and the original rules changed/weren't clear. It could happen again. I agree with you this time, the rules seem clear to me, but hey, why not ask someone who actually has the authority to give us an official answer so the Antiquarian can put his doubts to rest.
@ZOS_GaryA , the loyalty system is going away so there won't be any new rewards, but can we still earn already existing rewards after Match 17th? Or are the ice wraith, dwemer sphere and mask exclusive to pre-TU subscribers? If so, some people would appreciate it if the same rules applied to them as to the senche. Per the Billing History account page, 7 x 30 Days Subscription have been specified. I added 90 days subscription time which began on February 18th so in a sense, I have been "subscribed" for more than 9 months.

Please refer to my posting on the interpretation of "subscription." I currently have 10 months specified on my account page and all subscription applied to my account. That is literally being subscribed for more than 9 months prior to the Unlimited.
Some might be furious (including you) that the 9 months Loyalty rewards are handed out to those who have prepaid the game for more than 9 months. Well, there are many players out there who have added additional gametime with certainty that BOTH items will be rewarded. There will be many who will ask for refund once they find out that only Senche Mount arrived via mail, but not the Loyalty Mask that they have been anxiously waiting for because once again, I have absolutely no reason to apply additional gametime way ahead when only a mount is rewarded.
The most VIABLE way should be the following: Loyalty program will cease, but for those who have added additional prepaid game/added additional subscription time prior to the Relaunch, they qualify for the Loyalty Mask as well.Edited by The_Antiquarian on 19 February 2015 14:370 -

Just peruse three pages worth of comments on this specific thread AND other Loyalty Reward related threads. Once again, we are asking for Dev's clarification. On a word-by-word basis, it could be interpreted either way.
Also, Dev has never said anything about whether the Loyalty rewards for those who have fully subscribed for more than 9 months, will be rewarded with the Loyalty Mask when the actual time has elapsed when the Unlimited launches. We all know that the Royalty Program will end, but it does make a valid question as to whether the reward will still be there for those who have committed equal amount of time prior to the Relaunch.

I asked in the official thread but no response as of yet. Honestly it sounds to me like they will continue giving out the old rewards even after the launch from this new web news article. Yeah I agree with this, we need dev feedback. The wording is a bit unlcear when it comes to whether we get the Senche or not, is it enough with 300 days payed for or must they also be expired? It would surely suck if it was the latter as they should've been more clear. I just spent 25 bucks on a pre paid card to get the 300 days, though they wont be expired by the time Tamriel Unlimited comes.

Well see thats a bit vague as we all have been beta testing this product for a year, well earned if you ask me. Thing is all this confusion wouldnt have been here if their wording would've been more clear.
