It kinda sorta makes perfect sense. People who care about unique rewards get shafted - but it's great for those who just want rewards because they can choose what they like instead of something they'd never use. For example, I strongly dislike the ice wraith, I'd rather have taken the pig instead, but nope, I had to go looking for it on eBay. Now I can pick my own reward (or none and save those crowns for DLC in case I unsub).starkerealm wrote: »
Yes. Keep in mind 30 free days coming with the box don't count.http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2015/02/12/the-road-ahead---february
The criteria you'll need to meet to receive this very special mount are:
You are an active ESO subscriber when we transition to Tamriel Unlimited.
You have paid for 300 total days of subscription time (non-consecutive), prior to March 16th.
I have 240 days purchased for (and 65 of those days are still left on my active subscription). If I purchase a game card with 60 days I will have total of 300 days prior to match 16th, and they have all been payed for. So that means I get the shiny mount, yes? The reason I ask is because I have not USED those 300 days, but I have payed for them.

That's exactly what I kept telling you in the senche thread before The Road Ahead article.jamesharv2005ub17_ESO wrote: »It means what it says. If you werent subbed for 9 months prior to the march 17th relaunch you dont get it. All the rewards from the rewards program were based on time elapsed not time paid for. The only reward they gave where they allowed that is the senche mount which is not part of the original loyalty program and they made different rules for it. You already have your answer. I know you dont like it but there it is.

Per the Billing History account page, 7 x 30 Days Subscription have been specified. I added 90 days subscription time which began on February 18th so in a sense, I have been "subscribed" for more than 9 months.
"Behold: the Mask of Cheerful Slaughter, a unique costume which will be given to all ESO players who have subscribed for nine months between April 2014 and the Tamriel Unlimited launch in March 2015."
You can claim that the 9 months quoted by the Road Ahead commentary means "9 months subscribed and actual time elapsed," but there are many others who interpret that as "9 months as shown on the account page."
Both were shown on the Road Ahead page as if both the Loyalty Mask and the Senche Mount were part of 9 months and 10 months reward, respectively.
We are thankful for your interpretation, but we would like Dev to provide us with the ultimate clarification on their wordings. Just search the forum. There are many many others who are wondering the same thing.

The senche mount was never part of the original loyalty reward program. They never said it was a 10 month reward. Some guy from ZOS said it was a 12 month reward but he corrected himself. The devs dont have time to keep repeating themselves over and over. Anyways good luck but they are going to create a huge ****storm if they start handing out these vet rewards to people who havent earned them.

I dont know how they could make it any clearer. You have to have been subscribed for 9 months prior to the march relaunch.

We want Dev's clarification as to whether the time needs to be elapsed or not.
If not, we want to point out how devastating it would be for those who paid additional time with certainty that both the Loyalty Mask and the Mount will be granted, find out once Unlimited launches, that only the Mount arrive via mail.
We want to know soon so we know whether we can cancel the 3 months subscription that I have already inputed. Without the mount, having prepaid that much does not mean a thing.
P.S. You keep insisting that Dev "said" the time needs to be elapsed. The quote you mentioned could be read and interpreted in many ways. Until Dev says "yup, The Antiquarian, only those who were subscribed and HAD THEIR SUBSCRIPTION TIME ELAPSED, qualify. You will not be qualified," we will keep seeking answers from Devs.

Well see thats a bit vague as we all have been beta testing this product for a year, well earned if you ask me. Thing is all this confusion wouldnt have been here if their wording would've been more clear. And pay to win term is as far away as it can get when it comes to this mount or mask skin.
