game does not play

I have loaded the game from disks and I have an account but despite all my efforts I can not get the game to play because when I click on the game icon I always get the message "webget request failed." Support is not answering me for 3 days now. Does anyone know how I can connect to this game?

Thank you for your response ers, I have done all this and I have sent the report to customer support, no answer as of yet.

As @ers101284b14_ESO has helpfully linked, we do have an article on our help site which details a number of steps which other players have reported helped resolve their "WebGet Request Failed" errors.

When I got the "webget request failed" error I flushed my dns. That fixed the issue.

I have restarted my internet and I got the verification bar to move. Then I got the message "unable to decompress patch manifest data. When I hit the repair button I get the maintenance window saying the game servers are down. This is a pretty user unfriendly game.
