Have hope, life does not end at 26 and your gaming brain cells will become even more cunning thus overcoming an slowing of the reflexes which, I hasten to add, will not happen for quite a while yet.

My first computer had 512K memory, no hard drive, and only read single-sided 3.5" floppies. I played Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord on it, among other games. :)

I still have my collector's tin Ultima somewhere. I ran a punch tape driven mainframe in the 70s, had an Apple 2C in the 80s, later a Tandy that used floppy drives instead of a hard drive. Things seemed to have changed. :)

Well my first Computer was an Acorn Electron, according to Wikipedia it only had 32 Kilobytes of memory. I had to look it up because in those days the amount of memory was never an important figure.

And you had to load games from a cassette recorder, and if you had the volume setting wrong it didn't load properly, and each cassette had a different setting, which you had to figure out by trial and error. On the plus side it could also play most BBC micro games (but not all).

And most of the games were text based.

Like fine wine... we just keep getting better with age.

well you're forgetting the important fact, wine needs to be stored in right temperature to become better with age, imagine a bottle of wine that's been sitting in hot storage for 20 years, you definitely do NOT wanna drink that wine.

Perhaps not, strong vinegar is however just as useful as wine, except for cleaning, cooking and a few other more pedestrian activities.

For some this could be a vast improvement.

Myself I like cooking with the right wine vinegar and sometime I prefer to drink a nice wine.

Ohh I could go for some chard or spinach right now with a nice mild vinegar on it, along some beef simmered all day adobo style, getting a bit hungry now.

Balance doesn't just apply to classes. We geezers know it applies to life too. So far this year I have kayaked the Banana River and did a mile high hang gliding adventure. ESO takes up much of my gaming time but I almost always have a game of Civilization going, occasionally play D3, and am looking forward to Dragon Age Inquisition. I bought a smoker last year and am making really good ribs and such. It is only my body that has aged. I still feel like I should be 30 something.
