I hope they mean Fiery Grip shouldn't be able to pull people down, but Extended Chains still can. If I cannot pull people down off of the walls anymore it will greatly sadden me. It may sound silly but this is my favorite part of Cyrodiil.

NO to the ambush up then you will see packs of NB using guards to get into keeps and avoid taking down walls

it feels weird to be against a dk nerf, but this is obviously a poorly thought out fix for dks cooperating with enemies to get them over walls. though tbh I haven't come up with a better solution.
EDIT: just off the top of my head, make the chain fail and drop the target at the highest point, so for example, someone pulled up will be dropped just short of the wll, hit the ground and take fall dmg, or a dk on the ground would pull them just off the wall for same effect.
