The second anyone logs in the cry goes out in Guild Chat and dozens of people log in at the sight of a single enemy player and gate camp them into quitting.
My AD toon is on Auriel's Bow and EP and DC gave us two epic fights last night that lasted for hours each.On AD owned servers this is almost never the case, the moment even the faintest blip shows up on the map the entire alliance descends on that small blip like avenging valkyries, camp the spawn, and there is pvp for less than two minutes before the small blip just quits in disgust.

You know the drill, even ive done it, so no hypocrisy here, but something that I was involved in last night made me think a bit.
On Bloodthorn last night AD actually made a really good push in, until DC (the de facto owners of that campaign) came out in force to wipe us completely.

Id be curious what the DC guys we fought last night would say, was it planned to let us take ground so there was actually a couple hours of PvP? Cause if so, it actually worked. We got kills, you got kills, and until you all decided to bring the full force against us and negate any chance of further progress, we had a good time all told.
So I guess the real question is, why the extreme need to keep everything one color all the time? Why are yellow camping farragut and rayles constantly on AB, DB, and other yellow controlled servers. Why arent we letting them take a couple keeps, get a foothold, so we can actually pewpew?

That is exactly what happened last night and i for one really enjoyed the fact that both DC and EP were able to successfully defend their keeps for many hours.
My AD toon is only level 16 but i had loads of fun and some epic fights, even managed to get a few 1v1 kills ...
that's what happened. least when I used to play it. I quit paying it because of the gate campers, who were almost always max VR rank:/ idk how it is now, but the score says the AD is way ahead, so im assuming things have not changed very muchHalrloprillalar wrote: »NookyZooky wrote: »happened a lot in hopesfire. now no one but AD plays it, the minute ppl log on and cap something, all the max vet hordes pop up, and zerg everything, and gate camp. its pathetic, but what can we do:/
Why would max vet 'hordes' waste their time like that?
Something doesn't add up.

Honestly unless it was a scroll or emp keep I probably wouldn't bat an eyelash.

Yeah EP was overusing Impulse spam in Wabbajack so we headed to Bloodthorn. Thanks for having us, we had fun there until DC arrived in force…

EP had the same problem on Wabbajack this morning with AD spamming it... and last night DC was Impulse spamming too.
Each faction does it

Sorry about that, guys.
From a BT EP standpoint -- unless we're claiming Imperial keeps, trying to dethrone Sunrest -- the rule is to leave AD alone unless they're north of Sejanus/Nikel. Everything else is their territory if they can take it back, we don't care.
Hell, we don't care if Alessia/Roe are yellow most days, just so long as they aren't blue.
Hope to see more yellow on BT, as always.
