    I'll explain it, when you log onto an alt that has the hireling trait a mail is generated. If that character opens the mail and loots the included bag all works as intended. However if you simply log onto each of your characters who have this passive you generate the mails but then loot them on a veteran, or your highest level character and the loot bags would spawn loot appropriate to the character who opened the bag, not the character to whom those bags were mailed. The main difference being the exact type of crafting material spawned by such bags. So instead of iron from bags originally generated by my level 10 alt, my main would open them to find carnelian. It's still a worthwhile tactic to have your alts invest in hirelings as it's not the base crafting material that really matters it's the upgrade drops that apply to any level item where the big profits are made from this tactic.

    As far as why this is a concern, due to the fact that these mailings are generated by the system upon login of the appropriate character, this was prompting players to rapidly log in and out of each of their alts in order to generate these mails at around the approximate time they would be available. This adds additional log in server time and potentially generates server side lag.
    For all the millions of pages of codified law we have enacted in this nation alone, all of it, every word, sentence, paragraph and nuance, is steeped in the singular idea of this:

    The patch 1.1.1 is only listed on the private section for PTS participants. It was not, to my knowledge intended for public release as of yet.

    Upgrade mats were all I cared about, so this doesn't really impact me. If it does, I will be back after the patch goes live to *** and moan.
