What Kinds of Skill Trees Would You Want to See in the Future?

I want the ability to climb keep walls.

This-- I think that they need to allow for infiltrators to get inside keeps and towers.

We were holding a tower for 20 minutes last night, with enough oil nobody could get in. Previously we had the same setup, but one guy slipped in and put an oil on top and burned us, finding and killing him resulted in his friends slipping in and taking the tower.

I'd love it if infiltrators were more common... maybe make that the ultimate so it isn't an easy ability to use, but still.

I previously posted in this thread specifying a lich world tree, but I'm curious to how everyone thinks future world trees will work?
I was under the assumption you could join any guild (so when the thieve's guild comes out you automatically join it, the same with the dark brotherhood) whereas you had to select a specific world skill (vampire v werewolf v potential lich) and stick with it. Half the reason I want the necromancer aspect to be a class and not a world skill line.
I'm very disappointed with daedric summoning honestly, ultimate aside. Where are our Flame Atronachs? Or Frost? What about a Dremora companion? I wouldn't mind seeing another 'summoning' focused skill line. It would have been ideal if the Sorcerer skill line was altered but I can see it working.

I would like to see a full Spirit Warden and Necromancer story-line with three choices:

    Help the Spirit Wardens,
    help the Necromancers
    or help neither.

At the end of the Story-line you have the option of joining one or the other (or neither) and gaining a Spirit Warden or Necromancer World ability tree. Similar to Werewolf/Vampire you could have one or the other, not both... or neither.

The story could also introduce Nature (Alteration magic) and Death (Conjuration magic) themed staves to the world.

Bards need a tree but it should focus on speech craft. The intimidate and pursuade skills are out of place and should be more intricate.

I would like to see a nature based skill tree, something along the lines of the Wyrds or druids (there are a few Druidic Sects dedicated to Kyne(Kynareth) in the lore)

I would like a Taming Skill tree. Currently Pet usage is bound to Sorc.
However, the new spellcrafting sytem is going into the direction of making pet's avalible for everyone (combining Endurance Focus with a Summon Rune = Permanent Pet).
Still a stamina based tree for this would be nice.

I would like a "One handed weapon" skilltree. Another DPS tree, in addition to "Two handed" and "Dual Wield", where you focus on using one weapon (without shield or offhand weapon).
In my idea it would be heavily centered around the weapon type, the same way destro staff is currently centered around the weapon type/element.

A Stamina based Healing Tree. Because medium armor healer should be an option too, the same way Stam DPS is/will soon be.
They just need some ways to visualise this.

    Mightylink wrote: »
Why the heck don't sorcerers have any fire or frost spells, they had all 3 in all of the previous games...
Everyone can use fire, frost and electric spells. Using destro staff.
Everyone is a group that includes Sorcerers.
And none of the previous games had any classes. The current system is more* like previous ES games, not less.
So that literally makes no sense there.

I very much hope Spellcrafting is going to give us not only fire and frost type spells but Necromancy!

Bard Skill would be fantastic! I would also like to see it somehow include more dancing.

Acrobatics (Parkour for the win!) (Exploration Tree)
    Acrobatics

Basically the Acrobatics and Athletics tree's could be fused into this one skill line and used via active abilities and passives, the following is by no means my suggestion for a actual working skill line but a assembly of general ideas:

(P.S - I can never come up with names so bare with me)

    X = Higher Amount
    Y = Lower Amount
    Active After Image
Cost: X Stamina, 0.5 Second Cast time. Cooldown?

I had this in mind for a escape type ability or something "tank / defence" based while being used changing characters run / sprint animation to something more finesse based.

Reduce cost of sprinting and roll dodge by Y%, Increase run and sprint speed by X%, reduce physical damage by X%. For Y seconds duration.

    Active Sudden Leap
Cost: X Stamina. 20 Feet Range. Cooldown?

This ability would probably have a target circle (like when using healing springs / illustrious healing but smaller size circle) to determine where you can jump to and the range applying to general height and distance directions.

Leap swiftly to target location, for Y seconds increase jumping distance and height by X% after the first jump.

Possible morphs maybe add fall damage reduction or increase range slightly.

    Passive #1

Increase Jump Height / Distance by 5%/10%/20% Unlock cool jumping forward flip / back flip animation? =D (Rank 1/2/3)

    Passive #2

Increase Run/Sprint Speed by 3%/6% (Rank 1/2) ...I have no idea about numbers ><

    Passive #3

Reduce Fall Damage by 10%/20% (Rank 1/2)

Anyway. Something along those lines is what I had in mind the numbers are just there to give an idea.

Also improving on existing trees, Unarmed!

    Unarmed Skill
Rather then it being its own skill, I could see it being included in the current weapon tree's already in the game. In terms of weapon I believe it could be done in the form of handwraps, katars, spiked gloves, or brass knuckles etc depending on which racial style motif is used at the time and a forearm to hand defence brace for a "shield" like weapon.

So depending on what you equip would determine the type of stance your character would be taking, something heavier like brass knuckles or such would have your character using the two handed tree and using a boxing / street fighting like stance. Like wise using lighter items like handwraps and katars in both left and right weapon slots would have your character using the dual wield tree and using a swift martial arts style stance and attack animation. Then lastly using a unarmed weapon and defence brace like weapon could be used for one handed and shield tree, using defensive martial art styles.

A skill-tree for unarmed could work too, however I just wonder that the time and effort that would be involved in balancing it to other tree's standards and implementing it when we already have skill tree's in place that could work and make for a slightly more flexible possibility.
