The Noore - Noore is elven for 'Clan'

    • When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
We formed on November 7th, 2012, specifically as an ESO based guild, and are not an offshoot of an existing gaming community

    • What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
We are an AD community that plays only on the NA server (PC/Mac)

    • Why did you choose that alliance?
Initial concept was to form a gank squad of stealthy, behind enemy lines elven archers - we have evolved into a fun loving community of all races and types, both in r/l and in game

    • How many members does your guild currently have?
We currently have 263 members in The Noore guild in game

    • Does your guild have a website?
Yes - you can visit us at thenoore.com

    • What times and days is the guild most active?
Typically 8am - 12pm EST Mon-Sun - even in the off peak hours I have never seen less than 28 members online so there is always somebody around withing our community to have fun with

A picture speaks a thousand words:
    8bwDx.jpg

    • What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
We span all activities, including but not limited to, PvP, PvE, crafting, RP, strategizing, socializing etc.

    • What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
all of the above and more (explained in events below)

    • What makes your guild unique?
Without a doubt our structure that instead of being 'top down' traditional hierarchy, is a 'bottom up' member driven community that allows each member to enjoy a small guild feel within a large guild advantage (stores, banks, trading etc) - full in length details are on our website

    • Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
We are part of the Coat Tail Riders Alliance - a diverse group of fun folks with whom we have a very simple philosophy in common 'maximize fun whilst minimizing drama'

    • Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
    8bzdE.jpg
We have already had a launch party where about 50 members attended - you can see the antics here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3nIs3NOb1M#t=38
We are also working scavenger hunts and a race involving teams using enemy gates as check points, monthly clan meeting with awards ceremony etc

    • What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
It will be different things for different members given the diversity of our interests - but for me so far the most memorable moment was facerolling DC and EP in Skull Crusher and, against greater odds, painting the entire map yellow and crowning one of our own as Emperor

    • Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
hrmmm - will have to consult with our RP'ers on this one and get back to you!

    • After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
The adventure never stops for us and we enjoy every moment! - winding down is for people who don't have orcs and lizards to kill!

    • Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. Our core philosophy is 'Maximize fun and minimize drama - for yourself and for your fellow clan mates'
    2. Our oldest member is almost 70, our youngest isn't a teenager yet
    3. Our mumble server has many channels where our members chat and have fun on a continual basis
    4. Some of our members have formed solid friendships online extending to international visits!
    5. We love to laugh whilst kicking arse, be it in PvP or Pve

    • If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
They should register at thenoore.com and one of our recruiting officers will get them set up - usually within a matter of a few hours

We hope to see you soon!

Thank you for allowing us the wonderful opportunity to share our lovely Guild with the rest of the ESO community! We cannot stress how thankful we are for your constant care over your player base. Now, let me explain to you what exactly the 'Ruby Brotherband' is.

Back in 2012 I received a lovely Gameinformer issue and was surprised at what I saw the cover to be, a strange symbol. I instantly knew it was Elder Scrolls.
I took this to my best friend who, like me, is a huge Elder Scrolls fan, and we 'nerded' out as I'm pretty sure everyone did that day.

We talked about what Tamriel would be like in an Online game, and if we would ever see Akivir, Yokuda (despite it being in the Abecean Sea), or Atmora in any expansions. This led us to a rather enormous question; will hardcore Elder Scrolls fans be able to cope with the MMO qualities ESO would have?

Knowing us, we picked up pen and paper and began thinking up ideas for Guilds so we can make sure TES fans like ourselves will take ESO into their beloved franchise with open-arms.

We asked ourselves many questions in the process, one of them popping up quite often:

"A large margin of Elder Scrolls players roleplay their character's experiences in the TES games. How can we make this even better in this Online universe?"

And thus, after many hours of work, we finally came to our conclusion; The Ruby Brotherband.

The Ruby Brotherband gets it's name from a rather important topic, Atmora. During the Interregnum, (the time of ESO), Atmora is just now freezing over into isolation. Not much is known about Atmoran culture and history, so we did some improvising. We know that there were at least a few groups of people living on Atmora during the time of ESO, and surely they didn't want to stay in the frozen wasteland for much longer. 'Brotherbands' as we call them are groups of individuals who sail south to Tamriel in hopes of obtaining a better life.

One man, Gondul Early-Beard, created his own Brotherband titled the Ruby Brotherband, pointing out that the Ruby is a symbol of great power in the new lands they were sailing to.

The Ruby Brotherband is an Ebonheart Pact Guild for different reasons altogether. However, they have recently acquired a new mission; seek out the Amulet of Kings, find a Dragonborn (if there even is one), and not only end Molag Bal's invasion by relighting the Dragon Fires, but crown an Emperor and begin a new Empire.

Because of this goal, they are attempting to ally themselves with the Imperial Legion as well. At the end of the day, The Ruby Brotherband is tied between loyalty to the Pact and their endgame goal.

Currently in the game, the Ruby Brotherband has a mere 7 members, however, we have about 80 people on our website who have shown interest and signed up. We need more members!

Our Guild also has a website; www.therubybrotherband.enjin.com. It is a very important aspect of the Guild.

Our Guild usually spans the entire day, along with a few handful who play into the night. We know people have their own lives, so we tend to make our Guild schedule flexible. We are also currently recruiting members on the NA Megaservers.

Our Guild is a roleplay Guild, however, we are not roleplay purists. Think of us as a galaxy if you will, roleplay being our sun and our core focus, giving life to other aspects in the guild, such as questing, adventuring, doing dungeons, etc.. which are planets that differ in distance to our core-focus, some receiving more attention then others. Everyone in the Guild is in-love with our roleplay mini-events and our chronological story.

One of the most unique things about the Ruby Brotherband is that we do not roleplay random things, such as roleplaying 'house' or 'Lord of the Rings'. We stick strictly to Elder Scrolls Lore. On our website, we have a Story Chapter mechanic that allows us to record in detail what happened in a previous roleplay event. This means that your character can completely change the outcomes of the Guild's story depending on what you say/do during that event. We also allow you to submit your own chapter when your off roleplaying by yourself in Tamriel.

Also, we neatly tie in our Guild's story with the current events of ESO, making it very believable and almost an actual part of ESO's main story. Me and my friend sit down like we did back in 2012 and plan future plot-twists to throw into our Guild's plot, often times tying it into extremely important parts of Elder Scrolls lore that have yet to happen on the timeline, such as something to do with the Numidium or even the future existence of Tiber Septim. But again, we keep it lore-friendly.

Although the Ruby Brotherband roleplays all the time in 'mini-events' we have monthly events that lasts several hours and usually has the most action/jaw dropping plot twists to wrap-up that months chapters of roleplay. Again, your character and your actions can mold and shape what exactly happens in these monthly events via the 'mini-events'.

If I had to speak for myself, I'd have to say my most favorite part of the story so far is when Gondul, Vignar, and Occidere, (all players), were extremely outnumbered in a Dwemer Ruin. They each stood back-to-back in a triangular-like formation and fended off the beasts that were attacking them. It was literally like an Elder Scrolls version of Helms Deep!

And no, ZeniMax, we follow no Daedra! However, you can make a Daedra worshiping character and shape the story through your actions. Anything can happen, so we don't know!

Here are the requested five fun facts about the Ruby Brotherband:

1.) Uses a unique Story Chapter system to follow an ever changing story.

2.) Allows players to use their own created character-background and imagination to contribute to the story and even change it in different manners.

3.) Has a social side to it and helps one another out in many ways.

4.) The Guild has been in the making for roughly 3 years!

5.) Has hardcore loremasters study the future content for our story to ensure it is lore-friendly to ESO.

So there you have it, folks. The Ruby Brotherband, here to try and allow the Elder Scrolls fan-boy/fan-girl in you run free in the fields of roleplay within the Elder Scrolls Online. Trust us, it just WORKS.

If you are interested in joining the guild, please sign-up on our website at www.therubybrotherband.enjin.com, or contact me via in-game at @Headmaster32 or Gondul Early-Beard (Nord). Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about this Guild and it's functions. See you in game, Adventurers.

My guild is Tamriel Thriftshop on Ebonheart Pact. I don't need attention as it's already 500 max. Every inactive player gets kicked and by the time I look for someone else to join another member has already done it for me. It's by far the most active guild with nearly 200 players on at a single time, with a min of 130 (seen thus far).

    • What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

      The Eternal Watch

      TEW_Banner25896.jpg

    • When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

The guild was founded in 1999 in Asheron’s Call, eventually traversing the worlds of Asheron’s Call 2, Lineage 2, Aion, Age of Conan, World of Warcraft, Rift, Star Wars the Old Republic, TERA, and recently Guild Wars 2 and Neverwinter. Now the guild is branching into The Elder Scrolls Online saga beneath the standard of Queen Ayrenn and the Aldmeri Dominion.

The guild has been run by the same guild leader–Mithoron–for the entire fifteen years, so has a solid history of being maintained, supported, and promoted through its long history. It is not simply a “fly-by-night” guild created on a whim or an idea that “sounds cool” and just as quickly abandoned. Instead, the guild has over a decade track record of being the best it can in endgame content.

During it’s World of Warcraft tenure of over six years, the guild was ranked among the top raiding guilds on the Icecrown server, while still maintaining a “friends and family” atmosphere where spouses, children, other family members, and friends could play and enjoy the game even outside the stringent confines of raiding.

    • What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

Aldmeri Dominion on the NA Server

    • Why did you choose that alliance?

      Voted upon by guild members

    • How many members does your guild currently have?

      125

    • Does your guild have a website?

      the-eternal-watch.com

    • What times and days is the guild most active?

There are members of the guild from all over the US and several from Europe (UK and Germany), so there are people online 24 hours a day, seven days a week; however, weekends are obviously the most active with 75-95% of members online during prime time (5pm - 11pm) hours.

    • What countries do your members span?

      See above

    • What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
    • What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
    • What makes your guild unique?
    • Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

The Eternal Watch was created to provide a family atmosphere for general game play with a primary focus on end-game content and raiding progression, whether that be PVE or PVP grouping. We hold our members to a standardized set of behavior guidelines, asking members to abide to our Code of Conduct. Those not following these guidelines are subject to discipline and possible removal from the guild.

The guild Code can be summed up in one sentence: Don’t be an ass and treat your guild mates with respect and courtesy…and most of all have fun!

The guild holds many events, both within game and without, focusing upon its primary goal of everybody having fun. Feel free to join us for in game events such as PVP raiding, foot races, scavenger hunts, and the like, as well as out-of-game events including Movie Nights, Karaoke Nights, and Trivia Contests.

The guild does not require any mandatory participation in guild events; however, if you do participate, it is expected you give your 110% effort, whether it entails raiding or PVP’ing with the guild or participating in some of it’s other events.

The guild is based upon the concept that it is a community of people with different mindsets and goals, and as such does not attempt to force people into any one particular aspect of the game. We are not simply a “raiding guild,” nor are we canned as “PVP guild”–there are both casual and hardcore members; there are those interested in pure PVE play, while others are more PVP-oriented. What the guild does promote is a healthy atmosphere with people of like mind who enjoy the game can do so with companions to its fullest.

    • Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

      Not currently at this time.

    • What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

There are so many it is hard to pin-point one specific event, whether it be offline events or online events the guild participates in.

      Guild%20Photo%20-%20Nude7146.jpg

    • Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

Although many archaic rituals may occur amongst members, I have not been privvy to them...

    • After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

Gathering around the tavern and sharing the adventures of Tamriel

    • Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

      1. The guild has been around since 1999
      2. Although the average age of the guild during WoW days was 35, currently it is hovering around 45+ with quite a few members of the guild being in their late 50's and early 60's
      3. Four out of six of the founding members are still with the guild after 15+ years
      4. The guild has been spotlighted in several gaming magazines throughout its years, with several members having close times with both gaming companies and gaming websites.
      5. The guild ranks (ranging from the Guild Leader to Recruits), policies, and symbols were modeled after the Templar Knights. In fact, many of our in-game and website banners and tabards typically contain the red Templar cross on a field of white.

    • If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

The guild does not enforce any age requirements. We have met 12-year-olds who were more mature than some 30-year-olds. Age does not dictate maturity. We simply ask that you behave in a mature manner acceptable to everybody.

We strongly suggest members avoid Political, Religious and Sexual topics in both Guild and Ventrilo Chat, as these topics are too emotional and problems always result. In addition, being a more mature group of players, realize cussing and other profanity is not routinely acceptable–many members have younger family members playing or listening to the game. If you cannot state the same thing to your parents or at a job interview, chances are it is not going to be tolerated in guild/Ventrilo chat. That being said, we realize raids–and in particular PVP–can sometimes be heated, and we ourselves are guilty of an occasional slip, we simply ask that you do not make cussing commonplace, instead keeping such things in the PVP channels or private conversations.

In addition, we ask people refrain from “1337″ sp3ak. If you cannot type out a word intelligently to convey your feelings or information, then maybe the guild is not for you.

Beyond those simple tenets, as mentioned, don’t be an ass and have fun!

•What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

Our Guild Name is FragHaus but in this game and some others we go by FragHaus Alliance [FHA] for games that do not support the whole name.

A Germanic type theme based around WWII games.... war games.

•When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

FragHaus was started over 16 years ago as a community. Prior to FragHaus it was simply called BigQEd's QuakeFest because thats what the community started around (Quake).

BigQEd's Quakefest was one of the most popular on the Internet with some of the best pings around. It had special mods that I had gathered and tweaked (customized and made them unique). Who could forget the paralyzing grapple hook... or the pipe bombs... or the grenade launcher? Well if you were around back then... you surely would remember. We had days upon days of fun...

As time went on and more TCP/IP games were released. We added popular games and each had a short life not comparing to Quake. Then came Counter-Strike... and the community had many more fun times. Our CS servers were once again some of the largest and most fun on the Internet... with again amazing pings.

Then came OFP (Operation Flashpoint)... and FragHaus was born. With the release of OFP and Counter-Strike in full swing... we needed a true community with a name. With coming games such as Wolfenstein and Medal of Honor (promised to be released)... Frag-Haus fit. A Germanic type theme based around WWII games.... war games.

OFP and CS gave so many people a place to go... a place to game. FragHaus had some amazing times. It surely was a blast almost every night.

Next came NWN (Never Winter Nights). NWN was huge... 96 player server and jammed 24/7 at its peak. With our custom MOD and the atmosphere that only FragHaus can bring... this game was a HUGE hit.

FragHaus now had come about... we had several genres of games under our belt. We had forums, website, TeamSpeak and much more to keep people coming back and even more joining.

My name is Sir Puppington Von Hat, and I am here to represent The Psijic Order.

In a sense, the Psijic Order is one of the longest running social groups to have graced the servers of The Elder Scrolls Online. Each and every member is one of those lucky few that got to test the game far ahead of everyone else, and during those many months of testing all the different demographics that ZOS invited, from endgame MMO powergamer to diehard Elder Scrolls purist, gradually formed bonds of friendship over a game that we all loved. Those bonds endure.

Right now, the Psijic Order is based in the Ebonheart Pact (our lore guys wept deeply that day), but in reality the Psijic Order is split pretty evenly between each alliance. We are everywhere, all the time. We always have someone online to play with, and have representatives of major guilds like Entropy Rising, Mostly Harmless, and Great House Hlaalu. We can be found doing anything and everything the game has to offer; we dive into dungeons like (naked) pros, invade Cyrodiil in (naked) droves, and we've even had a fishing tournament or two along the way (fully clothed. Water is cold). You can find us here a lot, too; we love helping out players that are new to ESO but just as passionate as we are, and I can guarantee that most of your have read great posts made by some of our members.

The Psijic Order is, at its heart, a social guild for long time players to keep in touch. But we have some great stuff that makes being apart of our little group just AWESOME.
    • Pants are optional.
    • We collectively know pretty much everything there is to know about ESO.
    • On the last day of the PTS, we organised a cease-fire in Cyrodiil and had a giant dance party at the Imperial City's southern gate! We murdered Daedric Titans for a full twenty minutes before saying screw it to the cease fire and killing each other!
    • Courtesy of @SlayerSyrena‌, meet the Gina-taur:
      2YNGfy4.jpg
    • We get to pee on every rock in Craglorn before everyone else.

If you've every played on the PTS and would like to join our merry band of Princesses, just give us a shout.

    We feel pretty.

My name is Nick the Wise and I want to tell you about the Let's Quest Guild. A guild formed when the game launched (and before that, in beta too). It is an EU guild based mainly in the Ebonheart Pact, however we do have some members who prefer other alliances.

We are a guild based on allowing players of any level to work together as a team, to finish quests, complete dungeons, fight in PvP and much more! Our core beliefs of allowing any player of any level to join means that even someone of level 5 can work alongside someone of level 50, and so on. we do this so that our guild allows people who would otherwise feel left out, can achieve so much more with someone who will always help if they need it.

As a team, we are very close. A testament to this is our recent acquisition of Kingscrest Keep mine in Cyrodiil PvP. Because of our solid teamwork and the firendships that are formed in this very small guild, we can achieve a lot more. Whether you prefer fighting, crafting or even simply socializing, the Let's Quest Guild is always here to accompany you on your journey in Tamriel. And don't go thinking that this teamwork goes unrewarded! As well as a ripe picking from our guild banks and so on, we will also fairly promote those who have shown their true capabilities and devotion to the guild. To reflect this, the ranks have been given names that would otherwise not be associated with gain or success. They are:

    Marshall
    Protector
    Journeyman
    Quest-Seeker

I come here not only to promote our honest guild, but to invite you as well. If you believe in what we stand for, or if you simply want to have fun, the Let's Quest Guild is for you. May the divines, the hist and the three be the light in any of your troubles...

Here’s your chance to get your guild in the spotlight! Respond to this thread and answer the questions in our guild interview below and we’ll consider featuring you on elderscrollsonline.com in an upcoming article. Don’t forget to include a screenshot of you and your guildmates. This is a great chance to tell the world about your guild.

•What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
Pact - The Guild has been built on the simple meaning of the word, for the last year. Pact is built around never leaving a man behind, equal rights, equal opportunity.

•When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
Pact was Formed Officially as "Pact Gaming" in 2013, July 1st. We originated in Age of Wushu, and built a unique class restricted Guild. We built up a very strong political interest from other PvP based guilds, and players were individually taught game mechanics through step by step lessons in person by yours truly. Then my work schedule kicked in after the summer schedule change, and my lack of online availability caused us to hold a Merge, into a brother guild. When I returned, The Pact was still there, waiting for my return - and even though I had no interest in the previous game, they followed. Upon following we built a structure, allowing the Guild to run itself, without always needing me on 24/7 by training entrusted leaders, mentors, and officers to hold the ranks. Now our Core system runs the high ranks in all of our MMO's featuring systematics that are additions to any MMORPG such as our Webshow Soulbound, Pact Points, Leadership opportunities, and Social events. - ESO, is our new Heaven, and we will continue to push hard into this magnificent experience!

•What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
    Obvious. Ebonheart PACT.

•Why did you choose that alliance?
Races aligned, sworn to protect eachother and work together - a Pact. Just like our history, it shared the same blood.

•How many members does your guild currently have?
    89 in ESO.

•Does your guild have a website?
    http://www.PactGaming.com

•What times and days is the guild most active?
    5:00 PM Cst - 9:00pm CST

•What countries do your members span?
    US - EU

•What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
Our ESO members highly enjoy Crafting. we have a structured Crafting team consisting of 6 members to fill each profession per group, cycling events and recycling them to get best exp outcome, and building all supplies for the entire community.

•What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
We've managed to create a formation that allows our users to essentially pick a POI and focus on it. Most of our members are in Crafting teams, however its to better pursue their longing for Craghorn.

    •What makes your guild unique?
    https://youtube.com/watch?v=37HTbcMLAlQ

•Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
    Not Currently

•Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
BEER Night is the top favorite of our ESO comrades. We start in the Inns and gather, then we prep our Six Packs, hop in MUMBLE, and start grouping for PVP in our chosen Campaign, Chrysamere. The conversations are relentless and difficult to understand, slobbering drunk men and women.

•What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
Early Access Day #1 - our 5 branch core started ASAP pushing into the game at the exact same pace in the exact same storylines, was my favorite experience so far. We've dedicated an event, for alt creation just for it.

•Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
Yes. Ryoxis. Me. The Community Leader. The obvious things I come up with which are unique in guild feature and activities, must mean I have Daedric powers.

In mumble - sitting in Davons watch crafting.

    • What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
      - We are Severity Gaming. A veteran gaming community that has been slaying bosses and conquering worlds since 2010.
    • When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

    • What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
      - We serve High King Emeric and The Daggerfall Covenant
    • Why did you choose that alliance?
-Everybody loves an underdog. For the longest time, most people did not express interest in aiding the Covenant...we were a proud few. Now the Covenant has grown and we are a very formidable force.
    • How many members does your guild currently have?
-We are currently home to 72 members with more joining our ranks each day.
    • Does your guild have a website?

    • What countries do your members span?
      - Most of our members are from North American countries like The United States and Canada. We also have one lone Aussie who is an absolute legend, a real beast in Cyrodiil.
    • What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
      - A lot of us chit chat regularly, discussing whatever comes to mind. Though game mechanics has been a very hot topic lately. We often dungeon together and from large Cyrodiil raids to repel invaders off our keeps and take their land as punishment.
    • What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
      - We like to take advantage of all Tamriel has to offer. We do not actively participate in RP though.
    • What makes your guild unique?
      - Our guild is home to an elite group of players who can teach any player how to be great at this game. Our community holds and competes for World First titles. We want to bring that same level of excellence to The Elder Scrolls Online.
    • Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
      - We coordinate with other guilds in our PvP campaign but no official alliance has been made. We are always open to discussion about it though.
    • Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
      - We do host a number of weekly events in guild. Our biggest event though is our Cyrodiil Skyshard hunt. We host it every month and it is 100% open all Daggerfall Covenant players.
    • What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
      - Claiming our first keep in Cyrodiil, Fort Dragonclaw. We have have vowed to be Wardens of the North and will always defend that keep, even if our guild does not have it claimed. We also have a pretty cool guild screenshot of us at that keep.
      MGalleryItem.php?id=843

      2. We have an awesome plug.dj channel to listen to while gaming
      3. We are the home of the amazing Dulfy
      4. We are a fun and welcoming community
      5. Unlike your parents, we won't send you to bed without dessert!

    • What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

Our guild is called Alith, it's the name we've been known by since we formed 6 years ago back in our humble beginnings. Alithia is the Greek goddess of truth and the only goddess to have wings. In our first MMO, the characters had wings and the ethos of the guild was about honesty, integrity and maturity hence Alith was the perfect title.

    • When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

Alith is now in its 6th year and steadily grew by carefully selecting new members based on their casual, mature and friendly ethos. We have now developed to become a truly international guild with a stable membership at our self-imposed cap of 400 active members in ESO. Ironically, Alith started out in our original MMO as a seriously hard-core PvP guild and built up a huge following prior to launch. Unfortunately, within a few weeks of launch, major turmoil hit and all bar one of the officers (Belazarus) left the guild when the inevitable crash ensued. Unperturbed, Belazarus set about rebranding and rebuilding the guild and against the odds, created a truly social, non hardcore PvE guild from the remnants. The guild grew from strength to strength and surpassed all expectations then BANG……. ESO was announced and we took the easy decision to disband and reform here, building up a strong initial membership of circa 200 members prior to launch (many transferring with us) to the 400 fully active members we have today.

    • What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

Alith are proudly allied to the Ebonheart Pact alliance - for the pact!

    • Why did you choose that alliance?

We chose the Ebonheart Pact mainly because of the great and interesting lore and good variety of races, and of course, who doesn't love Morrowind!

    • How many members does your guild currently have?

We have established a self-imposed cap of 400 members to preserve the great community feel we’ve established. We regularly “clean-up” non-actives on a monthly basis to ensure we keep our online activity at a premium, but seldom lose more than a handful on this basis, which is testament to the great endgame content ESO offers and in our experience very unusual for any MMO – well done ESO!!

    • Does your guild have a website?

We have a very active website and forum at www.AlithESO.com. We have also added a Facebook group which offers our members a fantastic added dimension to stay in touch with what’s going on in guild and in game.

    • What times and days is the guild most active?

To be honest, our activity is very healthy most of the time, usually we have 70 - 80 online at any given time and at peak hours 6pm to 11pm (CET – we’re an EU guild) weekdays and all weekends we regularly have 100+ online.

    • What countries do your members span?

We are a truly international guild. Our membership base stems across the globe from USA, all across Europe, Israel, South Africa, Thailand, to Australia and New Zealand.

    • What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

We do absolutely everything!!! Dungeons, Trials, PvP in Cyrodiil both casually and more organised sorties, numerous and varied social events….. we love it all.

    • What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

Being predominantly PvE orientated, our member base enjoy dungeoning together. Running the arena of course and the brilliant challenge that is Sanctum Ophidia which we’ve cracked at last

    • What makes your guild unique?

Apart from the fact we suffer no internal politics, disputes or drama, and we aren’t in any way a prescriptive guild imposing times and demands on our members, we run Alith Academy which we are particularly proud of. It is a mentoring facility for 1st timers to blood themselves into new dungeon and trial content in a very relaxed and friendly environment. We have expert tuition from our many member volunteer mentors who explain all the mechanics prior to each boss fight. Our members love it because above all else, we totally eliminate the fear of failure. We wipe, we laugh at ourselves, pick ourselves up and have another go…. That’s the Alith way!

    • Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

Alith are not part of a larger alliance of guilds, mainly because we prefer to focus on the wellbeing of our own members and maintaining a real family feel. We prefer to avoid inter-guild politics and drama so I guess you could say our alliance is to every guild and player out there. We’re friends with everyone!

    • Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

In Alith, you can expect to see plenty of fun, social, PvE and PvP events. We've seen it all from dungeon racing, cliff diving, hide and seek, treasure hunts, fashion shows, mountain climbing, horse racing ........ and yes, even skinny dipping in Skyrim! We've also had 3 real life guild meetings where Alithians from all around Europe got to meet each other in the flesh and share a few drinks! And yes, we can't wait for our next one.

    • What is your favourite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

So far, one of our funniest moments has to be when the guild participated in a treasure hunt social event close to the start of ESO and at the end of the event, decided to head off for some after event naked skinny dipping. So the close came off and off we swam into the sunset…. But wait…… unbeknown to us, someone had planted a swarm of slaughter fish in the water. The ensuing panic that set in vent was hilarious and the mayhem in the water a sight to behold.

    • Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

Now that would be telling….. right?

    • After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

Now this is a no brainer, Alithians frequent the Fish Stink in Davon's Watch. It’s now in Alith folklore and a tribute to the slaughter fish episode where we commemorate so many of our lost and fallen naked allies.

    • Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

    1. We have had a blast compiling our learning videos on our YouTube channel from all the veteran content. Only issue is, we can’t keep up with all the content releases so it’s still a work in progress…..!

    2. We have an Alith medal award system where we honour the great, the good (and the downright cheesy) on a monthly basis with a variety of award categories.

    3. We have our very own beer fridge now in the Fish Stink, this used to be accompanied by an Alith branded cookie jar but we found the locals stole the cookies and we ran out of gold replenishing stocks.

    4. We’re currently in the process of rubber stamping the detail for our soon to be launched Alith podcast in which we’ll cover a wide array of content, interviews on topical and not so topical news and events and just all the normal fun stuff you’d expect in a podcast.

    5. Our forums and Facebook group are rampant with activity, and we have a wide range of popular sections including member introductions, real life pics, pets threads, guides, links and even an "off topic" section where you're always guaranteed to find chats about absolutely nothing!!

    • If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

You can join Alith by heading over to our site at: http://www.alitheso.com/ and simply click on "Join Alith Today" to fill out an application (we usually get back to members within 24hrs of applying). Alternatively, if you'd like to ask us anything about our guild, feel free to contact us via the website, or whisper us in game (EU MegaServer).

My name is Belazarus (the guild leader) and you can contact me ingame at @Belazarus whenever you like for further information.

Alith would like to wish everyone a very fun packed and exciting time in the world of Tamriel, and we can't wait to enjoy the experience with you all for many years to come!

    Kind Regards
Belazarus & The Alith Officer Team

    1. What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
    A. We are The Lunar Alliance. "Lunar" because we are werewolves whose powers vary by the phase of the moon.

    2. When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
    A. It started a few years ago, with Ginger Sandshifter in prison for attempting to steal a jarl's crown. She met a werebear in a cell across from her own, and the two developed a bond. The werebear man had a good heart, but he was full of regret because of what lycanthropy made him do to innocent people. He shared his blood with Ginger and made their escape together.

They settled in a cave far from society and taught themselves to control their bloodlust. The man eventually took his own life because of his guilt, and Ginger devoted herself to finding more people like him, cursed with lycanthropy. She would teach them to turn their curse into a gift, give them shelter, community, and purpose. This is how The Lunar Alliance was born.

Originally, the guild was united as one, with members of all races from all alliances. However, differences in loyalty in the war lead to a divide in the guild. Those loyal to the Ebonheart Pact followed Raxus Redmane and formed the Western Chapter of the guild.

    3. What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
    A. We actually have two chapters with contrasting loyalties in the war effort. Our main guild (for PC/MAC players) fights for the Ebonheart Pact, and the Western Chapter (for XBOX One players) is loyal to the Daggerfall Covenant.

    4. Why did you choose that alliance?
    A. As the creator of the guild, I wanted to play a Nord. I wasn't aware that any-race-any-alliance would be a thing, but I probably wouldn't have used it to join another alliance anyway. As for the Western Chapter, I noticed that a lot of console players were looking to join the guild, and I finally decided to stop turning them away. Most were okay with joining the Daggerfall Covenant, so I chose that alliance for them.

    5. How many members does your guild currently have?
    A. It's hard to say exactly how many we have since we are cross-platform, and we do have some on the forum who haven't purchased the game yet but have been active in the forums. I believe that our in-game guild has 19 or so currently in it.

    6. Does your guild have a website?
    A. Yes. You can find us at: http://the-lunar-alliance.enjin.com/
We also have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Lunar-Alliance/844376145579983?ref=br_tf

    7. What times and days is the guild most active?
    A. There always seems to be a few of us online no matter when I log in. I would guess that most of us are active in the evenings.

    8. What countries do your members span?
    A. We play on the NA server, so most of us are American. But we also have a few members from across the pond.

    9. What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
    A. Roleplay and PvE, and often at the same time.

    10. What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
    A. All of the above. We enjoy taking advantage of all that the game has to offer.

    11. What makes your guild unique?
    A. Our focus on roleplay and our love for lycanthropy make us unique.

    12. Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
    A. It appears that we may be becoming one as we grow. We're both cross-platform and growing almost every day. To preserve the intimate atmosphere we enjoy in a smaller guild, we're likely to divide up some more into groups of 30 or less.

    13. Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
    A. We had one PvP event planned, but we were unable to log in. We also enjoy RPing the holidays of the TES universe. Coming up soon is Jester's Day (28th of Rain's Hand or April). More events will be planned after college finals are over and I have more time to devote to the game.

    14. What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
    A. After exchanging Rings of Mara with two others in the guild for Mara's blessing on our future quests, Ginger and Triston made the shocking discovery that they accidentally signed the wrong papers and were legally betrothed.

    15. Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
    A. Although we are a werewolf guild, we are neutral towards worship of Hircine. Our philosophy of self-control and brotherhood runs contrary to the life Hircine would have us live, hunting at night and being hunted in the day.

    16. After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
    A. Any aesthetically pleasing highpoint overlooking the sunset will do.

    17. Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. If you run a search on Google with the words, "Ebonheart Pact roleplaying guild," our old Guild Launch site (from which we've moved from) is one of the first to pop up. The three above ours are the official ESO forums, TESO-RP, and TESOF. This has been the cause of a lot of natural growth since launch.
    2. We don't run the guild as a dictatorship. Our main goal is to have fun, not to rush through content, get make the top of the leaderboards, or any of that stuff. Before making important decisions, I usually ask other members what they think first.
    3. Lycanthropy is not a requirement to join, so members can choose to opt out of it if they are so inclined. It is, however, highly encouraged. For our RP, as long as a character supports our cause, they are welcome.
    4. We have a ranking system, designed to operate much like the guild ranks of TESIII: Morrowind. Members increase rank by contributing to the guild.
    5. We have forum RP as well as in-game RP. Currently, we have one forum RP running that serves as a prequel to the game.
    18. If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
    A. If they play on PC/MAC, they should contact me (@zeroneonix). If they plan to play on XBOX One, they'll need to visit our forums and talk to Raxus Redmane. If they want to play on PS4, I will consider creating a third chapter for them if enough are interested. If so, the guild will be for the Aldmeri Dominion.

    • What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
o Answer: Great Architect. Our guild is also a multi-gaming community, designed to be a place where guilds and players can come to play their favorite games and get answers and support for the games they enjoy playing.

    • When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
o Answer: Great Architect was formed May 22, 2013. The idea for the community came from myself and a friend by the name of SeeingBlue. We were part of an open public mumble group that really didn’t have any foundation or name to itself so SeeingBlue and myself came up with the idea of creating a multi-game community for players to form up guilds and networks with one another for the games they’re playing.

    • What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
o Answer: Great Architect has chosen the Ebonheart Pact Alliance. Our community welcomes players from all 3 alliances and we even have other guilds inside our community in different alliances!

    • Why did you choose that alliance?
o Answer: We knew most our members wanted to be either EP or DC. We put things to a vote between the 3 alliances and EP was favored. I think this also has helped us grow as Messiah Complex, which is one of our sister guilds, was also choosing EP. At the time we were both very small guilds and this allowed us to help merge together to allow growth and assistance between the two guilds.

    • How many members does your guild currently have?
    o Answer: 109

    • Does your guild have a website?
    o Answer: Yes! http://greatarchitect.us

    • What times and days is the guild most active?
o Answer: Mid-Day, Evenings and Nights. I think there is probably someone on at any given time though as we do have people from all over the world in our community

    • What countries do your members span?
o Answer: Mainly United States, Canada and Australia

    • What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
o Answer: As a whole I think the entire community thoroughly enjoys the entire game. We love hopping in groups to do exploration, questing, killing overland bosses and dark anchors. Running dungeons, Grouping up for the weekends for a few hours of large scale PvP battles and even perfecting those ever so meaningful crafting skills :) I must say I have been blessed with an amazing crew of gamers in the Great Architect Community. It wouldn’t be anything without them!

    • What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
o Answer: I believe I probably covered this in the previous question :)

    • What makes your guild unique?
o Answer: There are 2 main things I believe makes our community stand out, 1) The scope of this being a gaming community where players can come to play the games they enjoy, even if they only enjoy ESO its still a great place for them. 2) Our community is very helpful with questions, suggestions and supporting one another. We are all very passionate about ESO and enjoy helping anyone who may not know alot about the game.

    • Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
o Answer: I believe this one has been covered too, but to answer again. Yes we are and we’re the foundation for other guilds to join up with us!

    • Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
o Answer: We have PvP events on the weekends, working on getting times setup to run dark anchors and open world bosses in zones people need. Also we have streamers in the community and members can opt to have their stream put on the main page of our community site!

    • What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
o Answer: Two things come to mind with this. 1) When one of our guildies glitched into the Imperial City and we got our first look at the inside of Imperial City and 2) Just the participation of the guild working with one another in guild chat answering questions and members in our teamspeak server participating in my stream answering tons of questions from viewers. I think everyone has enjoyed doing that :)

    • Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
o Answer: I don’t think we really have one specific Daedric Prince but alot of people like to mention Sheogorath quotes

    • After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
o I don’t know that I’ve really seen anyone “wind down” If people are on there’s killing, questing, exploring or crafting that is being done :D

    • Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
o We’re focused around having fun and helping one another
o Our broad scope mult-game community ensures players have people to group with when they need them
o We have a Team Speak 3 server with over 500 slots
o Our community site helps members get the word out about the social channels they participate in. Twitch, YouTube, Steam, Facebook etc.
o Our guild is filled with very knowledgeable players who are happy to help

    • If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
o http://greatarchitect.us sign up on the community site
    o Contact myself @Defatank or some of our Liaisons @Ahdora, @Fral, @Kraiven_Moar, @Layenem
o Watch zone chat, our members are also working to recruit new players!

    1. Shehai. The name is derived from TES lore specifically about Redguard culture and represents what we hope to accomplish as a guild in ESO.

    2. The core of the guild predates Shehai with our humble beginnings on Star Wars: The Old Republic. We were known as Republic on the servers of Shien and The Ebon Hawk, and were regarded as one of the top PvP guilds on both servers. Shehai was officially formed when we were allowed to finally send in applications to participate in beta for ESO.

    3. Shehai is sworn to defend and protect the Daggerfall Covenant. This has been our alliance the moment they were officially announced and we are fully committed to supporting only the Daggerfall Covenant.

    4. In Shehai, we love competition, excellence, and playing the underdog alliance. We felt EP would be overcrowded due to the popularity of TES V Skyrim and TES III Morrowind. We also were not a big fan of the elves in AD, so DC was always an easy choice for us.

    5. In-game, Shehai is housing 48 guild members, just shy of the Guild Store requirement. Ideally, we'd like to promote quality over quantity and have multiple large parties working simultaneously while participating in Cyrodiil. We do not support the zerg mentality. We are all about tactics and well-thought plans.

    6. http://shehai.enjin.com/home

    7. The guild is active everyday primarily from noon through the late evening on the NA megaserver.

    8. Shehai is predominantly based in the United States. We do have some members who live in Canada and perhaps a few here and there in Europe.

    9. Shehai is primarily an AvA guild, so most of our activities generally gravitate towards Cyrodiil. We also enjoy PvE, however, and we love to participate in group dungeons, veteran dungeons, and eventually adventure zones.

    10. As mentioned above, our long-term goal is to focus predominantly on Cyrodiil. We plan on excelling at all facets that ESO has to offer, however.

    11. Shehai is unique because while we are competitive and certainly like to be the best (we've crowned an emperor in our guild three times and have led our alliance to victory on many occasions), we are also extremely laid back and promote community over just winning. We run our guild like it is a family, do not tolerate drama, and encourage fun and enjoyment over everything else.

    12. Shehai oddly enough is not officially tied to any other Daggerfall Covenant guilds. This was something we hoped to build and foster post-launch as we find a campaign and build relations and friendships with the guilds there.

    13. Shehai currently is not hosting guild events. We are letting our members become acclimated with the game, level their characters, and we will see how things progress and what fun activities we can come up with shortly thereafter.

    14. As a guild, our favorite moment was actually leading the charge on Bloodthorn during beta and crowning an emperor in the last hour of beta. You can watch the spectacle below at your leisure: youtube.com/watch?v=2juurXQyAtQhttp://

    15. Officially the guild does not support nor actively worships any of the various Daedric Princes. Off the record, some of our members may deviate in secret...

    16. Generally we will just hang out at our keep in Cyrodiil and see what trouble we can get into. Usually we may go sky shard hunting or see what aspects of the game we may have missed thus far.

    17. We are hilarious. We are competitive. We are more than willing to help those who need assistance. We always try to be leaders and role models for our alliance. We encourage community and try to improve faction camaraderie and unity.

    18. Interested players can either contact me in-game: @Pax_Augusta, or Imperator Clydus. You can also reach us at our website listed above. Fill out an application and we will respond to you as soon as we can.

Thank you ZOS for this opportunity and we look forward to many great times and memories in ESO!

-What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
A: The name of our guild is the Frostmoon Pack which was inspired by a werewolf pack of the same name in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn.

-When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
A: The birth of the pack came to be on April 2, 2014. After I had been sired by one of the game's first lycanthropic players, I decided to create a guild where those who aspired to become a werewolf or already possessed the beast blood could come together and help each other with the many quests and activities in the game.

-What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
A: We have sworn to aid the Daggerfall Covenant against the Ebonheart Pact and the Aldmeri Dominion.

-Why did you choose that alliance?
A: We have chosen to support this alliance due to the honorable High King Emeric allowing us to hunt and thrive on Covenant territory.

-How many members does your guild currently have?
A: Our guild only has 70+ members as of now, but we hope to expand into a large guild soon enough!

-Does your guild have a website?
A: No, we currently plan on keeping this as a purely in-game guild.

-What times and days is the guild most active?
A: The pack is mostly active around 4 P.M.-10 P.M. on the weekends, but we still have a good deal of players online at other times.

-What countries do your members span?
A: Our members span all over the world from America, to Canada, to Brazil, and South Africa!

-What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
A: The majority of us enjoy delving deep into the game's many dungeons as well as having a fun conversation on guild chat!

-What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving
dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

A: We consider the Frostmoon Pack to be a "multi-purpose" guild, meaning we take part in all sorts of activities such as PvP, PvE, trading, roleplaying, dungeon-diving, and even hunting in the wilds of Bangkorai! The majority of the pack believes that it is a fun and unique experience when tasting all that The Elder Scrolls Online has to offer, rather than focus on one aspect of the game.
    Screenshot_20140416_232632_zps98e8d634.png
    Screenshot_20140416_232558_zps6bb7aab1.png

    -What makes your guild unique?
A: What makes our guild unique is the fact that it is one of the very few werewolf packs present in ESO! This increases the chances of inviting like-minded people who can help each other learn the mechanics of the game as well as discover the capabilities of their powers as a lycanthrope.

-Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
A: We have no plans of joining an alliance of guilds. Our only desire is to experience the wild thrill of the hunt!

-Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
A: Lately, we have been planning to host special in-game events, but decided to wait until we reached our goal of 100 pack members so that many more can take part in all the fun!

-What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
A: As of now, the most memorable moment as a guild so far was the time we explored around Bangkorai during the full moon in search of werewolves who could pass on their gift of lycanthropy! It truly involved a good deal of teamwork, especially communication in order to call out specific werewolf spawn locations. The important thing was, we had a great time trying to find these werewolves and hope to do so again some time!

-Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
A: It is widely known that our pack heavily worships the Father of Manbeasts, Hircine, for he was the one to bestow his blessing upon us. We care not for those who have decided to worship other Daedric Princes, unless that Prince happens to be the God of Schemes.

-After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
A: For us, our adventures never end, even after a long day of work! If we ever need a place to relax, we usually do so at a local tavern or Hircine's Ritual Site.
    Screenshot_20140416_232137_zpsee4b62e8.png

-Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
A: 1. Our guild is actually based on the Frostmoon Pack in TESV: Dragonborn, and was meant to provide a player-created backstory for the pack.
    2. The guild's packmaster is believed to have been one of the first second breed werewolves in Tamriel!
    3. Nobody in the guild actually knows each others ages at all! We've simply never bothered to discuss such a topic before.
    4. Although a werewolf pack might give off a bad vibe to some players such as vampires and Fighter's Guild members, we have no quarrel with any other guilds! ...For now.
    5. One of our favorite werewolf movies of all time is Dog Soldiers!

-If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
A: For those of you who desire to run with the pack, please mail a request to me, @DarkTheEvil, and I will try to respond as soon as I log on. We not only accept those who are already werewolves, but also those who aspire to become one some day!
    ---
Many thanks to ZOS for allowing us to express who we are as a guild as well as for reading our submission! We hope to create many more memorable moments in the days to come!

The Collective Gaming Clan [THEC] was originally formed by a small group of friends back in 2011, who were looking to get the very best out of their online gaming experience. Since that time our ranks have steadily grown, with new players from a wide range of gaming backgrounds joining our gaming community.

We are now offering an opportunity for new players to join our ranks and participate with us in the Elder Scrolls Online in our latest venture - 'The Aldmeri Shadow Collective.' In support of this expansion we have a new Elder Scrolls Online forum, plus our existing 'Collective Gaming Clan' forums and a sixty man Mumble Voice Comms server to support our objectives.

Our first goal in Elder Scrolls will be to work towards PvP, acting as a small roaming group disrupting enemy supply lines, and covering larger siege battles. We would like to progress to multiple roaming groups that could work independently against the enemy or as one large group. Of course we will still do PvE and support upcoming players in any way we can, helping with skill lines, crafting and general questions and group questing.

So far we have been very active and successful in PvP, disrupting supply lines, capturing keeps and assisting in stealing of the Elder Scrolls. Plenty of alliance points have been earned by all and we are dominating our home shard. We currently hold Castle Black Boot on the Goldbrand PvP area.

So if you are interested in joining us, please complete our online application form here and join us in Tamriel. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us either in game or via our forums.

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

Alatreon. It is taken from the Elder Dragon boss from Monster Hunter 3. It is also known as the "Blazing Black Dragon or King of Darkness"

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

As an entirety, it was formed since March 12th 2011. You can read up on our history here.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

    Daggerfall Covenant.

Why did you choose that alliance?

We were originally in the Ebonheart Pact and the community there drove away our interest. The quality of the players that we have gained when we switched to DC has been astounding. Also, the overall min/max for the races that can be chosen for those who have not pre ordered are the best by far in this alliance. This will give us a better advantage when recruiting quality players.

How many members does your guild currently have?

At the moment, we have 90 quality players which required them to go through an application process. We do not have an interview phase as this is only necessary when applying for a real life job. You come on our teamspeak, play the game, we both get along fine and no drama.

We re-evaluate our members at the end of every month to see how progression goes to make sure that we still keep a quality roster. A close-knit community is very important for Alatreon.

Does your guild have a website?

    Yes. http://alatreon-gc.com/

What times and days is the guild most active?

We are most active during the weekends. Although we do have an international player-base, from all around the world. You will always see someone online and this also gives us an advantage on any group activities.

What countries do your members span?

As said above, all over the world. Most of the players come from the American region, then comes the European/Oceanic/Asia players.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

PvP and dungeons. We also group up if anyone needs help with leveling, dolmens (dark anchors) and elites.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

PvX - which means players versus anything. We fight in Cyrodiil, craft, trade and complete dungeons. We do not participate in role playing at all.

    What makes your guild unique?

Even though we take the game seriously, we are a very laid back guild with casual, moderate and hardcore players. Harassment, yelling at someone else excessively AKA raging is not tolerated here. The guild has a very low tolerance of drama and irritable players. As gamers, we come to play a game to relax and have fun while at the same time being serious about it.

We help each other and frown upon elitists who only care for themselves. We care for our members and every single feedback from any member (no matter what rank you are) is very important.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

    No.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

We plan on having races, guild lotteries, a guild march and PvP sparring (Once we are allowed to duel our own alliance) in the future once we are all settled at end-game.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

Our excellent coordination/teamwork between groups in Cyrodiil fights.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

Well, the guild as a whole? Not yet. We might have individuals who do though.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

We hang out in our Tavern (General Chat) TESO sub channel on teamspeak while questing/crafting.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. We have players situated from all over the world.
    2. All of our members enjoy activities in both PVP and PVE. There is no segregation.
    3. An officer of ours is very well informed about TESO and other ES games. Technically, he could be the "Book of Knowledge" . He can give you advice on builds as well. Ask him anything about the Elder Scrolls lore and at 99.99% of the time, you can find an answer.
    4. A guild member successfully completed the cinnamon challenge on twitch.
    5. We have a firefighter who has rescued a naked old lady passed out in a bath tub.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

They may contact anyone that is a part of the leadership team.

    An Orcish Trio

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

We are Mor'Grumaar. The name is done in the same vain as many traditional Orc strongholds, with "Grumaar" being the name of the original 'founder' of the clan. Grumaar was originally going to be my character in ESO, but during forum roleplay during the months before launch, I came to the conclusion that my character was not very fun, and so I had him die off screen in order to make way for my main character, Thrusk.

As a result as well, the clan now has a pretty cool origin story - of how Grumaar led his people into Cyrodil before they were ready, and while they obtained victories, they also suffered immense casualties - including that of the first chieftain.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

The guild was formed about a year ago. During prelaunch I was determined to have a guild, as I find it more satisfying instead of just being a member. Being the fan of TES that I was, I was not sure what I wanted to be. Originally I was going to go Nord-Pact, and make a Nordic clan based out of Eastmarch, but I was concerned about population, believing the Pact would possibly be too popular due to Morrowind and Skyrim.

Along the way, former officers of mine from Age of Conan showed an interest in joining up once more, and I eventually decided to go Covenant. At first I thought of a Breton noble house, the idea of playing a knightly group of soldiers in a house that was besieged by inner intrigues. Yet something didn't feel right. Playing a noble doesn't work for me either. Then I recalled exactly what it was that lured me into the Elder Scrolls to begin with.

Orcs. I have always been a fan of barbarian races in fantasy, Orcs included. The Orsimer in TES were unique. While brutal and arguably violent, there was an air of nobility around them. Not of noble blood mind you, but noble spirit. They had honor, they had a code. It might be a harsh code, but they had it. I played an Orc in Morrowind, and in Oblivion (alas I broke the trend in Skyrim.)

So. Mor'Grumaar was born, and I haven't looked back since.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

We are "allies of convenience" with the Daggerfall Covenant.

Why did you choose that alliance?

Orsinium is why. It makes perfect sense. While we have our guild maintaining the In Character notion of "we'll never forget Orsinium," the clan also believes that the Covenant is still the best option to making sure the Orsimer get their just due. After all, the rest of the Mer despise them, The Nords despise them, and the beast races are just that. Animals. (In our eyes anyway ;) )

How many members does your guild currently have?

39 and rising it seems every day!

Does your guild have a website?

    www.morgrumaar.com !

What times and days is the guild most active?

Every day, and it varies. Many log on throughout the day, but prime time EST is when we're most hopping!

What countries do your members span?

    Mostly the USA and Canada!

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

    Roleplay, PVE, PVP!
We usually mix Roleplay with the other two elements!

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

We are an Immersive Roleplay Guild. We do not sit around in taverns gossiping about things. We roleplay everywhere - towns, outposts, dungeons, even in Cyrodil we'll be in character, even if that just means shouting out battle cries. Everything we do is part of our story.

    What makes your guild unique?

I think we fit a niche. And most of the other orc guilds are fairly small, while we boast some good numbers. Orsimer guilds are not something I expected to see so many of, and it's great to see. But I feel with the way we're set up, we're going to give you the most authentic experience roleplaying as an Orc, one that finds a happy medium between traditional stronghold and the more progressive leanings of Kurog's Orsinium!

Plus, we will prove to those naysayers that roleplayers can, do, and will gladly go toe to toe with the hardcore PVP guilds.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

We are in the alliance called "Wrothgar," containing several Orsimer stronghold guilds! We formed them because quite honestly, we believed Orcish RP would be quite limited, as they are not the most popular race. The pariah folk are still pariahs even to roleplayers, and so we wanted to stay linked and stay strong together - even if we wished our individual guilds to maintain their uniqueness.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

Weekly RP-PVE hunts, bi-weekly feasts, bi-weekly RP-PVP events, and a monthly gathering to test all the unproven members of the clan! We have it all.

Often times the RP-PVE hunts are structured so that while we bring a whole lot of our guild with us, we place rules to make it a challenge. Say for instance, we go through a high level zone with a whole pack of players. We'll restrict skill usage to just a heal, and their basic attacks (no class/weapon skills) and put a level cap on armor to make it a challenge.

RP-PVP events are often practice for coordination and group efforts!

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

Taking territory in Cyrodil, naturally! That and meeting a fellow Orcish guild In Character only to get this compliment in a whisper: "Your guild is ****ing intimidating!"

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

We're Orcs. Most of us quietly venerate Malacath, instead of the Breton-fied version called Mauloch.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

Gathering in Betnikh and having a feast and sharing tales of glory!

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

    - Several of us have played together in Age of Conan
    - We have already held a keep in Cyrodil, and multiple resources at different times
    - From Early Access until recently (when we put new restrictions on joining) we had an application every day at the very least
    - Many of our members are high level crafters already, even if their character level is substantially lower
    - Nobody bests an Orc!

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

    Myself or my officers! @Rykoth, @Alether, @Sideswipe, or @Sendra
    Gorthal gro-Gunthak, Chieftain of Mor'Grumaar
Sigrun Elkhorn, Nordic Warrior and Skald

I still plead for an ingame guild browser :) I still have a lot of questions for all guilds listed above:

Looks like there are some guilds out there with a long history, but would that mean you as the individual wont get accepted easy?

Instead of advertising your guild like its the best of the best, what do YOU as the guild master, expect from your members?

Would you guild accept people who cant be online all the time?

Can member join your guild for the main purpose of selling/buying/trading through the guild-store?

everything apart from roleplay. not that we have anything against it i enjoy a good Roleplay group now and again. it's not what the guild was set up for.

we try to leave the Drama at the door and just enjoying each other company with some joking about. but when we have a job to do focus on it and get it done.

we currently not apart of a larger alliance we are still getting settled into ESO and will be look in the future to get to know other guilds and form an alliance or two.

all are Events are "SPECIAL" ... that's what are family's say anyway ;)

If we told you we would have to kill you all ....

how can you wind down in this game there is so much to do if we not questing, raiding dungeons or storming keeps we must be asleep or spending some time with the kids.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

yes we are called The Dirty Dozen ... guess what ... we are more than a dozen ;)

the name of the community came about after a day of me watching The Dirty Dozen films.
You are ordered by allied command to select Twelve general prisoners convicted by counts martial and sentenced to be executed or serve lengthy prison terms for murder, ***, robbery and other crimes of Violence. And you will deliver them Secretly behind enemy lines in France to undertake a mission of sabotage that could change the course of the war.

The activities in ESO our members enjoy doing together most are dungeons and leveling together.

The guild focuses on having fun in-game. We are a casual guild that will gather to Quest, Dungeon, PVP and Raid together. Our members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, crafting and trading, yes are a combination guild type.

What makes our guild unique is that we are a casual guild that does guild event to keep things interesting.

Some guild events that we do are: 'Day of Dungeons' where we gather to finish off any dungeons that members have not completed. Then we have 'The Day of PVP' we gather to PVP.

The most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO was when we gathered for our first picture together. We were about to take the perfect picture together when a gate fell and monsters started to spawn. But after we got back together and took some great pictures.

The foul "Empress" Tharn and her Daedric allies have stolen the very heart of the world from us... We are the men and women who once served proudly defending the empire, labeled "traitor" by the very institution that made us, gave us strength, and finally spit us out. In truth, brothers and sisters of the Empire, there are few tragedies as powerful as what has occurred to the people of the heartland of Tamriel. We are forced from our homes to scrape a living among foreigners working the jobs that few would ever wish to do.

We will change that, two men have come from the terror of fleeing their homes to rest in the Daggerfall Covenant. Caius Stianos "Colovius" Aquillius and Percius Calvus Macro have gathered Imperials from the heartland and seek to take back our homes from the horrors that now nest in their desecrated forms. For this purpose we have created a company of soldiers, veterans of the Legion and many who now flock to our banner as newcomers. Imperial, Breton, Orc, the legion has always taken fighting men from all across the Empire and the Cyrodilic Cohort is no different.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

Our guild was formed on TESO-RP.com in 2013 as we anxiously awaited the release of ESO.

    Cohort02.png

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

    Daggerfall Covenant

Why did you choose that alliance?

From our vague understanding of the circumstances the interregnum, there is still an "empire," but the various factions are fighting for the throne because many refuse to recognize the current monarch as legitimate. The reason being? The Empress and her followers have succumbed to daedra worship and necromancy.

Like any empire, there would be some type of legion at her disposal. In the event of a sudden civil war, and in light the daedra worship and necromancy, logic dictates that many legionaries would abandon the empire. Many would refuse to fight for an Empress who worships the daedra and uses necromancy to revive her dead soldiers. They would return to their homes and try to figure out what to do during the interregnum.

That is the concept of the Cyrodillic Cohort. We are, essentially, former legionaries who are disillusioned with the current incarnation of the empire. Forced to flee as traitors, we left our homes in Cyrodiil and decided to throw our lot in with the Daggerfall Covenant. It is the Cyrodillic Cohort's primary purpose to gather enough money, supplies, soldiers, and power in order to fund a return to Cyrdoiil and establish a true and proper empire for Tamriel. We believe that the Daggerfall Covenant most closely fits in with the Cohort's ideals.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
While we do all of these things, our main focus is grand-scale roleplay.

    What makes your guild unique?

We offer an authentic paramilitary roleplay experience.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

We are allied with several holy orders and knight-centric guilds, because they closely align with our mission.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

Here is an example of a roleplay event we run:

When: Friday, April 18th, 8:00PM EST
Where: Alcaire Keep - Stormhaven - Daggerfall Covenenant
    Who: The Cyrodilic Cohort
    The Divine Order
    Additional mercenaries and/or guilds (?)

    To: The Cyrodilic Cohort

High King Emeric formally requests the assistance of the Cyrodilic Cohort. It has come to the His Majesty's attention that Molag Bal has gained a foothold off the coast of Stormhaven. With much of the Covenant force dispatched to Cyrodiil, the High King has mustered his remaining forces and garrisoned them at Wayrest, the seat of his crown.

As such, it has fallen upon our shoulders to answer this call to arms. Intelligence reports indicate that the road to the south has been infested with Daedric incursions. We are hereby ordered to march south, expel the Daedric abominations, and destroy their foothold on the southernmost island.

Should our mission meet with success, the High King will welcome the entire army at Wayrest, where each and every soldier shall be paid handsomely--in both food and coin.

This mission will require the full breadth of our military capacity, including all auxiliaries, legionaries, officers, and logistical support.

You can typically find us winding down at the Alcaire Keep Tavern in Stormhaven.

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
My guild is proudly name Great House Hlaalu. Inspired and named after the in game faction from Morrowind, which was perhaps the most interesting of all the Houses.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
Our first recruitment post was made on November 5th, 2012.

We were formed specifically for the Elder Scrolls Online. I knew way back then that I was going to love this game.

More specifically, I formed the idea for the guild in response to a Q&A in which ZOS said that the Great Houses would not be joinable factions at launch. I wanted so bad to be a member of one of the Houses. Since this is an MMO, and player guilds are a thing, I wasn't out of luck yet. I knew immediately that I would be creating a guild to roleplay as one of the Houses. But that left me with a dilema.

The lore nerd inside me would not allow me to roleplay the House itself. What if ZOS adds the factions at a latter date? Isn't it a bit special snow-flakey to pretend to be the Great House Hlaalu? So I came up with a solution that allowed me to satisfy my desire to be in the Great House Hlaalu while still maintaining the integrity of ZOS's story.

Instead of being the House, we are a commissioned army. As part of my characters back story (part of which is published in the Tamriel Chronicle Issue #10) my character was formed by the Council of House Hlaalu to be a House presence in the Alliance War.

This fits in perfectly with our guild focus on PvP as well.

Since those early conceptual days, we have grown quite a bit and professionalized even more so. But lets save that for some of the other questions.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
As members of one of the Great Houses of Morrowind we, of course, fight for the Ebonheart Pact.

Why did you choose that alliance?

It is the only Alliance that fits with the RP back ground of the guild.

Additionally, it has 3 of the best races in Elder Scrolls lore and the most sympathetic philosophy.

The Aldmeri Dominion wants to dominate. Their ideology is built on racial superiority and control. The Daggerfall Covenant also wants to dominate and they are motivated by greed.

The Ebonheart Pact is motivated by one thing only: Liberty. They fight for Liberty from those who would oppress them. They do not seek domination, only to be left alone by the war mongering Altmer, Bretons, and Imperials. Their goal is national autonomy. More importantly, their's is the only faction that is aware of and motivated to stop Molag Bal (see Lore Master Shick's discussion in the Alliances at War video.)

How many members does your guild currently have?

    75. This includes some extremely active and hard core players as well as some who are more casual. We bill ourselves as a moderate guild because we accept many types of players.

Does your guild have a website?

Our premium site can be found at http://ghh.guildlaunch.com/.

What times and days is the guild most active?

Our guild is most active from Midday to Midnight 7 days a week. However, we've got a decent number of players on at all hours.

This is because our guild also has a large European presence playing on the North American Megaserver.

What countries do your members span?

    United States.
    France.
    Egypt.
    Australia.
    Germany.
    Switzerland.
    Sweden
    Chile.
    New Zeland.
    Uruguay.
    Portugal.
    Croatia.
    United Kingdom
    Russia.

We've had a few applications from China interestingly enough, but they didn't make the guild.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

Taking keeps and crushing skulls in Cyrodil.

Also just hanging out on our guild TS and talking. You'll often find it fairly active even when the game isn't live.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

Our guild is PvP focused, but we absolutely do it all. We run dungeons together, mess around with emotes, craft, trade, ect.

We even do some roleplaying on our guild forums.

We actually have a sister guild known as the Hlaalu Trading Post specifically for trading. Membership in that guild is much more open, with all applicants accepted. However, members of Great House Hlaalu proper do get some special privileges.

    What makes your guild unique?

The most unique thing about our guild is the personalities that comprise it. We've got guys and gals, young and old, from a variety of nations, life styles, and play styles. There are people in our guild who are variously hilarious, inspiring, kind, giving, polite, helpful, fun, and anything else you could name.

My philosophy on guilds is that they should be like a family or close nit group of friends. We try not to order people around or dictate play, while still maintaining some standards of discipline which are necessary for good organization in PvP. We try to keep the rules pretty minimal though, like: "pick the Guild campaign as your home campaign" or "don't raid the guild bank."

I suppose another unique thing about the guild is that many of us were closed Beta testers in the Psjic Order and in fact some members were recruited into the guild after meeting us on the Battle Field during that long term Beta test. This gives us an edge in experience over many other groups in the Alliance War and also a head start on organization and building friendships.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

We are indeed part of an Alliance of guild along with Vokundein (from Legend Gaming) and the Keepers.

Our main purpose for joining them was to buff our numbers in organized PvP. We'd much rather work with people we know and trust to be good players instead of trying to pick up random groups in Cyrodiil. However, there is also increasingly community interaction between members. Our first scheduled RP meet and greet with Vokundein is this Friday at 8PM EST.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

By far the most common events we hold are PvP raids. Throughout the Psijic Order Beta Test, we would hold community PvP nights that often attracted a large number of players from all 3 Alliances.

This will continue on the Live Server with weekly PvP raids (though this time not usually announced to the enemy before hand.)

We additionally hold guild dungeon runs and (soon) RP events.

Once Craglorn is released, you'll surely see us running Trials as well.

These events are signed up for using the calendar on our guild website.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

The moment we crowned the first Ebonheart Emperor on our home campaign. All hail Emperor Rizzla!! (our PvP sub-officer)

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

Well...lets just say there is a channel in our TeamSpeak server named "Sanguine's Lounge." That's where I send people when they get a bit too rowdy.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

Following PvP events, we hold guild debriefings back at the North or South Morrowind Gates. One of our favorite spots is the hot tub (really a forge.)

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

    1. Great House Hlaalu (GHH) is comprised of over 20 Psijic Order (closed beta) testers as well as many many more Weekend Beta Testers. We've been excited about this game for a long time.
    2. GHH was responsible for crowning the first Ebonheart Emperor during the Psijic Order test.
    3. GHH was responsible for crowning the first Ebonheart Emperor on the Goldbrand campaign, with the help of our allies.
    4. Our membership spans 14 nations and 15 different time zones.
    5. We love to eat Sweet Rolls, Mudcrab Cakes, and Worms.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
If you'd like to join the guild, head over to GHH.guildlaunch.com and fill out our application. All apps are reviewed by our officers to see if you're a good fit for the guild.

If you want to ask some questions first, we have a public forum on the website. You can also whisper me (@NordJitsu) or our community manager (@Alandauron) in game and we can send you the TeamSpeak information if you'd like to hang out a bit first.
