    Archlux
What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
Our guild’s name is “The Divine”. The guild originated from ESO. The founders of the guild are big fans of the Elder Scrolls, and they thought it would be awesome to have a guild based off of the lore of the series.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
3/30/14. Akatosh(@Archlux) decided it was time to preach his ways and recruit followers. Thus “The Divine” was formed. Stryk(@davidgull) became a Divine shortly after to aid Akatosh, and from there the guild grew.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
    The Ebonheart Pact!

Why did you choose that alliance?
It had the most diversity of race.

How many members does your guild currently have?
    42

Does your guild have a website?
We do not, but it’s an awesome idea and something we could incorporate.

What times and days is the guild most active?
We are most active Friday-Sunday, from late day to deep into the night.

What countries do your members span?
We are mostly in the United States!

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
Helping each other out and chatting! We delve dungeons, party together for world bosses, scout for crafting resources, and have a lot of laughs in the guild chat.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, role playing in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
What makes our guild really cool is that it’s more like a community than a guild. We are a group of people who have gathered together to take on the new challenge that is elder scrolls online. We didn't recruit based on what type of guild we think we are or want to be. We recruit because we see other players, like us, trying to take on this game, the one thing we all have in common. Some of us like to PvP and will gather some days to do so, some of us like to try to reach the endgame as quick as possible, some of us like to learn every trait and racial crafting style possible, some of us like to give glorious praise to our guild master, the Divine Ruler of Time, Lord Akatosh. Most of us do a combination of these things. We didn’t form for any specific aspect of the game. We formed for the game itself.

    What makes your guild unique?
How we intertwine with the lore of Elder Scrolls! We have created the religion of the Divines themselves, some of us taking the roles of them! We use this power to help people and grow as a community.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
No! We are devoted to the ways and ideas of the Divines.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
We plan to attempt to hold a special event for when any of the guild members get promoted to one of the officer positions (The 9 Divine) Since this will probably only happen 7 more times we plan to make it a special event.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
“For me, it was when we captured our first keep. It took so much work to capture it, and to finally have a piece of land dedicated to the guild was truly amazing.” - @Archlux
"It's not a specific moment, but it's all of the hilarious conversations that I've witnessed and took part of in this guild" - @Crantus
"Mine is probably getting assistance from David when completing the Grotto way back when. That was really fun." - @SILENTCHEEZ
"My favorite moment so far in ESO was when two of our guild members, while just having a regular conversations on the guild chat, both agreed that this was the friendliest and most enjoyable guild that they had been in for a long time. It was nice seeing the guild being viewed as exactly what I was hoping others would view it." - @davidgull
"Being allowed to join multiple guilds is a chance for every player to access knowledge from numerous other players, to feel like they belong and have a chance to participate in the development of a massive community. A favorite thing would be meeting players with whom you share values, goals and to be able to connect with. The most memorable part is trying to imagine how far a guild will progress, and wanting to be part of it. Not focusing on what has past, but on what is to come." - @Bennyboy

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If
    so, which one?

Of course not! The Divines are opposed to the forces of the Daedra, and we seek the full destruction of them, along with Molag Bal! (Sheogorath is pretty awesome though, you can gather much wisdom from a mad-man’s ramblings if you listen long enough)

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
After a long day of questing and fighting you’ll find most of our players on our guild chat, sharing tales of adventures or showing the others cool items or achievements they've managed to get.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. The guild bank is being constantly filled with reagents and recipes that are all free to take for any full-fledged guild member (A Preacher). Our higher level members strive to keep cool items like temper crafting materials and racial motif books going for free into the bank.
    2. To become a full-fledged member they only thing you need to do is recruit a single other person to the guild.
    3. One you recruit another member (A Follower) you become their Preacher, and have to explain to them how the guild works and help them to recruit someone into the guild as well! This way members form bonds as well as keeping up a constant recruitment method for the guild.
    4. You can call upon any of the leaders of the guild (Eventually The 9 Divine, currently only 2 Divine) or call upon the person who recruited you (your Preacher) at any time for help.
    5. With a focus on most every aspect of the game, this guild is a great choice if you just want to join a community that’ll eventually have someone to help you with any part of the game. We probably already do have someone for any question you have or bit of help you may need!

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
    @Archlux or @davidgull in game!

    Darksong

•What is your guild’s name? Darksong Does that name have a special history of significance? Since history has books, poems, hymms and even songs to bring it back to life and some of those are good and some bad, it was only fitting that a song could be about a dark part of history, thus Darksong.

•When was your guild formed? We formed on March 30, 2014. I wish we had a really good story on how it formed but what happened was an Officer & myself agreed we wanted to create a guild and we started kicking around ideas until the Darksong idea took hold.

•What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to? Aldmeri Dominion

•Why did you choose that alliance? For a couple of reasons. 1. We knew people from other games coming to ESO and who selected the Alderi Dominion and 2. After research & beta testing on the AD we decided we liked it more then the other 2.

•How many members does your guild currently have? 206 and growing

•Does your guild have a website? yes, it is darksong.enjin.com

•What times and days is the guild most active? from about 11:00 AM PST to 11:00 PM PST (or 2PM EST through 2AM EST) everyday.

•What countries do your members span? USA and Canada and possibly some others.

•What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most? Dungeons then Cyrodiil. They also enjoy doing Anchors and world bosses.

•What does your guild focus on in-game? Currently most members are focusing on PvE, getting their levels higher up before really delving into PvP

Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination? I would say a combination. Some days it is dungeons, some pvp, some just talking & crafting.

•What makes your guild unique? Mostly our laid back attitude. Members can do any activity in-game without feeling pressure from the guild. The main point we stress is to do whatever in-game thing you like as long as you are having fun.

•Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Not at this time. While in the future we would like to get into one, we are currently working on developing and fine tuning the guild.

•Does your guild ever host special events? We have our first guild special event coming up and we look forward to developing and hosting server events in the future.
If so, tell us about them! - currently we are working on dungeon completion for our members and will expand from there.

•What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO? Just the excitement and joy or creating the guild and inviting our first new members in. We also where very happy about capturing a resource in Cyrodiil. Granted the was not a keep but that is coming!

•Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? Not yet, though it has been brought up. We are looking into it though.

•After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down? Some members go to town and craft, some just sit and chat, some go into taverns and role play and some just go fishing.

•Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
-- 1. We have a number of former guild leaders/officers from other games
-- 2. We have a high number of first time MMO players
-- 3. We have quite a few people that this is their first experience with an Elder Scrolls game
-- 4. We are proving that a laid back, casual, friendly guild can succeed and get things done in game
-- 5. We actually not only have a website, we have voice chat and twitter

•If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact? They can contact myself, Astrytos Niteshadow or any guild member. They can also go to our website (darksong.enjin.com) and submit an application.

-The guild is named after my skydiving business!

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
    We are [Tamriel Crafting Guild]

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
Tamriel Crafting Guild was formed in the 582nd year of the 2nd Era. We came to be as a result of the Alliance War, with the intentions of giving Dedicated Crafter's from all across Tamriel a Marketplace that they can buy, sell and trade their goods without influence or affiliation with the factions of the Alliance War.

•What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
Tamriel Crafting Guild does not swear fealty to any of the factions of the Alliance War. Our member's may prefer to side with one faction over another, but the Guild Swear's fealty to only the Crafter's throughout the lands of Tamriel.

•Why did you choose that alliance?
    Reference previous question :-)

•How many members does your guild currently have?
Having only very recently formed at the time of this interview our guild only boasts a whopping 7 member's, though all members of this fine organization are welcome to bring in fellow crafter's they encounter while caravanning through Tamriel.

•Does your guild have a website?
A website? No, as crafter's we tend to stay away from those nasty spider's, many a crafter has fallen victim to those 8 legged monster's!

•What times and days is the guild most active?
As the Guild grows so will the Guild's activity level. So you will more than likely eventually find if you have need of something, we will be there.

•What countries do your members span?
Our member's span from the Isle's of Summerset to the cold North of Skyrim. From the Western Lands of Hammerfell to the Eastern Volcanic Shore's of Morrowind. And everywhere in between.

•What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
War Profiteering... I mean um, helping the less fortunate citizen's of Tamriel with our exquisite wares! *Whistles inconspicuously*

•What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
Crafting and Trading, those other activities are too... how can I put this... Dangerous?

    •What makes your guild unique?
Our Guild name for one, only one Guild and 500 member's can call themselves Tamriel Crafting Guild. We also boast the very best Crafter's in all of Nirn, so we have the too.

•Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
We may or may not be affiliated with the Thei... No, no we are not.

•Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
We our Guild's member's start to craft, it's always a special event.

•What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?This interview has been quite entertaining, what paper did you say this would be featured in again?

•Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
Hmm, Sanguine, possibly, though not really.

•After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
Somewhere with Mead, and food and maybe a little Skooma from time to time when the guards aren't looking.

•Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    We have the best Smiths.
    We have the best Woodworkers.
    We have the best Enchanters.
    We have the best Chefs.
    We have the best Alchemists.
And a bonus fact, we have the best Clothiers.

•If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
Our guild leader is currently @Xaqshn01, if you hadn't noticed all the time spent near the Forge and inhaling all that Resin at the woodworking bench has made me I mean him *coughs* a little different. But any member of Tamriel Crafting Guild can invite you!

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
Perdition. Perdition mean "destruction, despair, utter ruin", and can be loosely translated as "Hell". Considering what is happening in the storylines, the guild name seems very fitting.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
I created it during the February beta, and reformed it at launch.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
Ebonheart Pact, although we have members from all 3 alliances in our guild.

Why did you choose that alliance?
The Ebonheart Pact just wants to rule themselves. Perdition just wants members to rule themselves. We do not order our members around; they are free to do what they wish, when they wish, within the confines of our rather simple rules.

How many members does your guild currently have?
31 as of this update, but i'm fairly selective over who gets in. Quality over quantity.

Does your guild have a website?
http://perdition-teso.shivtr.com We also have a Facebook group page, created at my members' requests.

What times and days is the guild most active?
    Whenever.

What countries do your members span?
US, Canada, South Africa. During the beta, we also had British, Swedish, and Austrian members, but they went to the EU server at launch.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
Mostly finding crafting materials, or crafting things for other members who may need those items.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
Each person focuses on their own thing. We're a pretty casual guild, and most of our members appreciate having help when they need it, rather than being forced to always help others at the expense of their own characters.

    What makes your guild unique?
They can quest when they want to quest, craft when they want to craft, without being forced into doing events they don't want to do. We understand that real life must come before a video game, even one such as The Elder Scrolls Online. Also, although we fight for the Ebonheart Pact, our guild motto is "All Races, All Classes, All Welcome". We have nearly every race in our guild, from my observations.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
Officially, we're allied with a Daggerfall Covenant guild that only has 3 ppl in it (Their guild leader/officer of my guild, me, and one of his irl friends). We have considered an alliance with another Ebonheart Pact guild, but they wanted me to force my members to join their events, and my members have been very vocal about NOT wanting that.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
One of my officers, REzRyder, does live streaming on TwitchTV, and name-drops our guild from time to time. He even set up a live streaming event on 4/27/14 to get more of the guild together on his stream, and we were able to recruit 3 new members during that event.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
Recruiting a new member, and having them compliment how the guild bank isn't locked down, or set up as a "deposit only" bank for them. If we have something you need in there, take it. If you have something you don't need, that someone else might want, drop it off.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
I particularly like Meridia more than the rest of the Daedra, for she despises the undead. The rest of the guild is free to follow, or not follow, who they wish.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
Posting screenshots or TESO articles on our Facebook group page.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
1: RezRyder's TwitchTV stream can be accessed from the guild site.
2: Unlike other guilds that kick for inactivity, I'm not concerned how often you play. I do not pay your sub, so you play when you want to play.
3: We also do not kick if we see you on a toon from another faction. We have members that play 2 or even all 3 factions, and we don't feel it makes sense to penalize players for wanting to explore the game.
4: Most important guild-related matters are decided on by the entire guild, not on my whims. Minor things, i may change as i see fit, but things that affect the entire guild are voted on, and their vote is final, even if i disagree with the outcome (which has happened before).
5: Our guild bank can be accessed by anyone, even the "Day 1" members. We work on the honor system, and no one has reported any issues whatsoever with the guild bank. Unlike other guilds who wish to lock everything down for officers only, we feel that if we can't trust you with our guild bank, we don't trust you in our guild.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
@VycDarkshadow, or ask for any officer of Perdition.

    Titans Hammer

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

Titans Hammer: I have always been facinated with the Greek Gods and their relationship with their parents, the Titans. The hammer was simply something that sounded cool along with it.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

January 28th, 2013. It had been a dream of mine for a good long while now to be the leader of a successful and popular guild, and TESO seemed like a perfect opportunity to create a brand new guild from the ground up while not having to compete with guilds that were already well planted in the community of the game. Which is the issue that many new guild leaders may face in a older game with well established guilds and communities. So far my dream has been brought to light as i have gathered an amazing group of players around me all working to further continue the success and growth of our beloved guild.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

The Daggerfall Covenant. For the King!!

Why did you choose that alliance?

Well to be quite frank, i didint want to hop on the Skyrim Bandwagon and go with the Ebonheart like it seemed everyone else was doing. So far as Aldmerri goes, i'm not a huge fan of elves.

How many members does your guild currently have?

We are currently sitting at 40 members but keep in mind that almost every single one of those members are actively participating in the guild on a regular basis, we as a guild take pride on our "Quality over Quantity" rule of thumb when recruiting members. When i created this guild i didint want us to become a giant guild where there were so many people that everyone became simply a number, I wanted us to be a tight knit family of players who really knew each other.

Does your guild have a website?

    Titans-Hammer.com

What times and days is the guild most active?

We are quite active basically every day of the week in the evenings starting around 8 or 9 pm as all of our members have normal day to day responsibilities and jobs.

What countries do your members span?

We are strictly based in North America so our members are only from the US and Canada.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

Honestly we enjoy doing pretty much anything together, whether it be running though a dungeon or slaying enemies of the covenant on the planes of Cyrodiil. If we are able to group together and go do something, we have a great time doing it, laughing and cracking jokes the entire way.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

We as a guild are mainly focused on doing hard-core dungeon runs and running through Craglorn when it launches. We also enjoy our fair share of PVP on the side and we have an officer who is in charge of organizing that. Our guild is also pretty big in crafting as we are planning on being self sufficient within the guild so that we can supply each other with the needed armor and provisions.

    What makes your guild unique?

We are a tight knit family, we don't recruit in large numbers as i have said before, and we make sure that everyone who is in the guild is there to ensure the continued success of the guild. We don't want people who are in it all for themselves. If someone is recruited into the guild and they are allowed to stay, it means that they have contributed a meaningful amount to the guild, they have been active and participated in events. We keep everything as tight knit as possible, if someone starts to feel left out, then there is a problem, and we refuse to let something like that happen. EVERYONE is valuable to the guild, none is expendable. We also really stress the importance that everyone be in our teamspeak channel when in-game, it really helps us get to know each other. I feel like if everyone is simply typing to each-other it is really impersonal and you really don't get to know them vs communication though speech.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

We are not part of a guild alliance.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

We are not currently hosting any special guild events.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

The first time we as a guild stepped into Cyrodiil, was one of the funniest and most memorable moments. Many of us had no idea what we were doing but we went out in search of action, and boy did we find it. We defended a keep from an enemy bombardment, drove them back and then continued to chase them all the way back to their spawn point. Held them there for awhile and then went and siege'd an enemy castle, rushing in and slaughtering everyone inside. There is actually a Youtube Video of that night if anyone is interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91wKjOLabr4

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

Haha, we do not actually, although Sheogorath is definatly one of my favorates.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

In our Teamspeak channel, its where we just hangout and talk to one another.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

    - Theres almost never a dull moment

    - When the guild was created i had absolutely none, not a single real-life or internet friend to back me up, and now look at us.

    - Every wednesday is no pants day

    - We have a newsletter called the "Hammer Times"

    - We are over a year old!

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

Just sign up on our website at: Titans-Hammer.com

•What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

We are the Aldmeri Dominion Alliance.

•When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

We were formed 03/31/14. Our guild was formed with the idea that while we would like to be able to experience the entirety of the game, we did not want the militant guild style that has ruined many games in the past and made playing a game more like a second(or third) full time job. We prefer to have a multidirectional guild with groups set up to match different play types and dedication/availability levels. You pay to play a game, you should enjoy yourself.

•What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

    Aldmeri Dominion. "For the Queen!"

•Why did you choose that alliance?

We feel the Aldmeri Dominion is the most focused on the overall well being of the people and are the most free people out of the three alliances. We also don't want the volatility of the temporary alliances of convenience such as what is seen with the Orcs and the very armies that lay waste to their capitol city and the Dark Elves and their temporarily freed slaves, the Arogonians.

"The Altmer, the Bosmer and the Khajiit share the common traits of intelligence, patience and reason. We do not seek riches or plunder. Domination is not our goal, nor is the acclamation of power for its own sake."
    -Our Queen, Ayrenn Arana Aldmeri

•How many members does your guild currently have?

We are growing quickly and currently exceed 170 members.

•Does your guild have a website?

    Yes http://ADA.guildlaunch.com
We have forums set up for every playstyle and we even have private forums for our PVP groups to discuss strategies and make plans that only people in those groups can see. We also have a few threads dedicated to entertainment when you cant play or the server is down.We also have two TeamSpeak3 servers.

•What times and days is the guild most active?

Weekends and weekday evenings, although we have coverage around the clock due to members in different time zones. We usually have a minimum of 25+ members on at any given time.

•What countries do your members span?

We have members from the US, Canada, Australia, Scotland and more.

•What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

Dungeons, Skyshard runs, Cyrodiil PVP, crafting and chatting it up!

•What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

Because of the nature of our guild, we have members mixed into about every aspect of the game.

    •What makes your guild unique?

Everyone is pleasant. We have come together, rather randomly, in a really great way. There is always someone to answer questions, give a hand or share some levity.

•Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

Not currently, although we are very open to the possibility.

•Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

We hold contests from time to time. We currently have a screen shot contest going on that has some prizes that are definitely worth your time! Redclamz also plans Cyrodil raids, Imveros sets up RP events and we get groups together to hunt gold seller bots and steal their kills(they cant climb!).

•What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

When we realized that our guild was meshing together the way it needs to and that it was actually going to take off.

•Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

We don't discuss personal beliefs because we don't hold that against anyone.

•After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

Just standing in random places, usually getting killed because we are paying attention to guild chat and laughing at the friendly banter(especially between Bruschetta and Skoomasmoke) instead of the guar chewing on our leg.

•Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

    1. We have several members whose names are food items.
    2. We randomly have several members that just happen to live in a certain part of a certain city in Arizona.
    3. We enjoy ESO so much that we had to set up a games forum on the website to ease the shakes on server down times.
    4. In highschool, our officers just happened to all be voted "most likely to fill out long forms."
    5. One of our members is a real life moon sugar farmer!(photo proof on website)
    6. Tu'pac Shakur still lives and is actually in our guild
    7. Notice: Joining May include side effects such as giggles, uncontrollable BAMF movements, lore eyes, runny toons and temporary death(don't worry, rezzing IS an option)

•If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
Whitestar, a place to call our own.
Whitestar is a name of bright hope, joy and love that fit every settings, both High Fantasy or Sciencefiction. It has many meanings.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
-The guild had been created in winter 2009 as the founders lived far appart (the girl in Belgium, the guy in Norway) and needed "a place to call their own". The guild had been created in World of Warcraft on the server Defias Brotherhood and was a semi RP, semi raiding guild. We created a RP monthly newspaper: Whitestar Magazine
-Later the guild had evolved in a multigame project that never entierly kick off. Whitestar played SWTOR then focused on a more serious project in Tera Online on the serveur Samael. We created a weekly newspaper: Samael News.
    - Whitestar had a short story in Guild Wars 2, but give birth to MistAngels, a still active cozy and warm hearted guild in GW2.
-Few months ago, old core members of Whitestar decided to gather once more and to recreate the original project for several games: a cozy, warm hearted community that evolve with its members.
-Whitestar in The Elder Scrolls Online is one of our many projects.
TLDR: We are a multigaming community. We started in WOW in 2009. Played SWTOR, Tera and a bit GW2, toke a break and now we are back for ESO, Diablo, Wildstar, WoD etc. We focus on our members and the quality of our community.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
    Daggerfall Covenant

Why did you choose that alliance?
We discussed and we voted. Daggerfall Covenant was the first choice for many and the second choice for everyone else.

How many members does your guild currently have?
In The Elder Scrolls Online we have a core of 24 members.
We have not started our recruitment campaign yet

Does your guild have a website?
You can find us on Anook.com, the social network for gamers. We have choose to settle there instead of an usual forum to be right in the middle of the gaming community as a whole.
    Whitestar Nook

What times and days is the guild most active?

Evening 21h (Paris time) to late in the night

What countries do your members span?
We are mostly European but we also have Aussies, South and North American. We play on the Eu megaserver.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
We have no precise focus for now. We will evolve as evolve our members main interest.

    What makes your guild unique?
Our main focus is our community, the atmosphere in our guilds, their coziness. We want to be a home for our members where they can become happier persons, and flourish as individual. As multigaming community, our members can play several games within the same community, with the same friends. Today, in a era of so many good games, it's very important to find a way to stick together.
We recruit slowly and carefully to let the time to each of our new members to get introduced properly in their new home.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

Not yet, but this is something we may think off at later point.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

So far our events have been private only. But soon we project to expand to Community events and invite everyone that want to join.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

We discussed about it and agreed about that one. Started at Daggerfall Wayshrine, and ended on the beach.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

We are suspecting some of our members to do so, but we will close our eyes on this.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
On the beach. Sometimes Stros M'Kai. Sometimes outside Daggerfall.

    1. Our guilds Names are "House Reddoran" (US/EU EP)," Redd Mountain" (US DC)," The Flipped Coin" (DC EU), Reddithium (US/EU AD)
    2. Our guild was formed when Redditors united under one banner, back when the Sanguine beta test phases were running. We are now quite healthy member and activity wise and a nice subreddit up at /r/esoredditguild
    3. We have branches in all alliances, yet the main one is the AD guild on both US and EU.
    4. The biggest chunk of people that applied to the guild wanted to be in AD and we decided to make AD the main hub for the TESO Reddit guild.
    5. ~400 members on the AD EU side only, around 800 members on the AD US side only, roughly 1600 in total.
    6. Well, I suppose/r/esoredditguild qualifies :)
    7. As you'd imagine weekends are more active than other times and seeing as we are an EU/US guild on the EU/US Megaserver there aren't many people on at nighttime or in the morning. We do get a good chunk of active people after work hours though!
    8. We are spread all over the globe. Some of us are German, some of us are Bulgarian, some of us come from England or the United States. We are multicultural united by the fact that we are all Redditors :)
    9. We meet up and PVP together a couple of times a week. We are Home-Campaigning on Dawnbreaker (AD EU) and have had our fair share of battle already. Our PVP Events are lots of fun!
    10. Our guild is mostly a hub for people to unite and ask questions, meet up for world bosses, do guild-only dungeon runs and help each other out in general, be it via crafting items, selling items for cheap prices, answering questions etc. We do have a designated group of crafters for the guild that mostly consists of officers. We trade all the crafting materials to make sure everyone levels fastest in the profession he/she has chosen!
    11. Our guild is unique because there is only one official Reddit guild and as someone who has been in a couple of communities I am very happy with it. The people are extremely friendly and the officers are all very competent in the tasks assigned to them. The guild runs like clockwork!
    12. The Guild "Reddithium" is part of the 3 guilds that form the EU side of the TESO Reddit guild. We have "The Flipped Coin" for DC and "House Reddoran" for EP.
      • Two come to mind. First when it was just after EA had ended that we decided to meet up in Vulkhel Guard for our guild photo. So many people were there, it was quite chaotic but lots of fun to see all those players "in person" and randoms being confused at the sheer amount of people.
      • The second one was when we were in Cyrodil on Wabbajack EU. The campaign was very unbalanced, EP was mostly on High population, AD and DC were on low. We formed an Alliance with DC, a non attack pact and made plans to form all the PVP guilds on Wabbajack and unite them. Our great leader Sithis was our commander. We made a push with the DC guys at the same moment and took back all of our keeps and even some imperial keeps. It was glorious to see how much organization and tactics change on the battlefield and it was even greater to see all of our guildies in action.
    13. We do follow Sheogorath as he is the only true god of cheese. I can't say that we secretly follow him. Why would anybody deny being a follower?
    14. We mostly meet up in Cyrodil and do skyshard hunting or try to get a Keep for the guild or just help out the Alliance in general. We never truly settle :)
      • I am always desperately in need of Tomatoes and none of the members seem to have any! I do believe a cult of the Tomato has emerged and started destroying any tomatoes they come across to prevent me from getting them!
      • Profit was declared as one of driving forces behind our guild on creation. In spite of this members are often getting items cheaper or complete for free.
      • Some of the members started to wear metallic collars. There are rumors(completely unfounded) that guild is run by vampires!
      • Our guild chat is more busy than Auridon's zone chat. And yet it remains civil and fun.
      • Five facts? Who said something about five?
    15. Folks can just head over to our subreddit (/r/esoredditguild) and use a form that we have for applying, the link can be found in the sidebar.
Here is one of the images taken at our meeting during EA. We were fewer back then but we had lots of fun anyway :) We grouped up and took the image in Vulkhel Guard:

    Sarcoth

    sh-eso-logo.jpg

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
Sacred Haven. The guild was originally named "The Paladin's Sacred Haven" when it was founded in 1996 in the game Meridian 59 (M59). It was named this because we started off as a roleplaying guild that hunted player killers. We fought for those that could not defend themselves. When the guild moved to Ultima Online in 1997, the name was shortened to Sacred Haven. I would also like to note, that one of the expansions for Meridian 59 was named Sacred Haven. I prefer to believe they named it that because they liked our guild name.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
Sacred Haven was founded in June 1996 in the game Meridian 59 by five people from multiple countries around the world: Sarcoth [Eastern United States], Noddy [Australia], Arilyn [Canada], Mr. Bee [Norway], and Natas [Western United States]. The original politics of the guild was to have it run by all five people as a council. Over time, the group felt it would be better to have one person in charge with the other four as officers, the High Council. The council voted to have Sarcoth as the guild leader. Since then Sarcoth has lead the guild through many games: Meridian 59, Ultima Online, EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Vanguard, Rift, and now Elder Scrolls Online.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
Sacred Haven has sworn to support the gracious and lovely Queen Ayrenn of the Aldmeri Dominion. We will serve her with our lives against Molag Bal and any that wish to usurp her.

Why did you choose that alliance?
There are other alliances? Seriously, the Aldmeri Dominion is the only alliance worthy of Sacred Haven.

How many members does your guild currently have?
Over 100 members. I’d supply an exact number, but our ranks increase daily.

Does your guild have a website?
    Yes, sacredhaven.org.

What times and days is the guild most active?
We are most active on the weekends in the evening, but we normally have 40-70 members online between 5pm-9pm (Eastern Standard Time) every night.

What countries do your members span?
Our member base is mostly made up of members from the United States. There are also a strong number of members from Canada. Then there are 1-5 members from each of the following countries: England, Denmark, The Netherlands, Sweden, Uruguay, Greece, Singapore, and Australia.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
Our favorite guild activity is raiding. We have mostly been a PvE raiding guild since 2000. Although, we have had weekly PvP raids in Cyrodiil since Elder Scrolls Online was released. Once we have a few more members hitting veteran ranks, our focus will shift to PvE grouping and raiding with a side order of PvP raiding in Cyrodiil. The guild is anxious to start adventuring in Craglorn.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
Our current focus is split between Cyrodiil PvP raiding and crafting. In Cyrodiil, we have had some successful raids where our members were able to take over a keep and change the tide of the war. Crafting, on the other hand, has been a major plan for many of our members since beta. A few have reached level 50 in various crafting skills. Researching items has been a hit amongst our members and all are working together by trading items so everyone can complete the research on the traits and items they want.

    What makes your guild unique?
Sacred Haven is unique because we are a very successful non-hardcore raiding guild. We love coming together to raid, but we don't require members to attend a certain number of raids per week. We want everyone to have fun and to play the game at their own pace. At the same time, we plan to have multiple events each week so each member can attend as many as they like.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
No. Sacred Haven is large enough where it does not need to be a part of a larger alliance of guilds. Sacred Haven will welcome any smaller guild wishing to be a part of a larger active guild.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
We have hosted many special events in the past. Give us some time and we will be doing them in Elder Scrolls Online as well. Some of our previous events have consisted of Cross Country Races and Scavenger Hunts. The Cross Country Races are races that start in one area and the competitors have to run through a series of way points and make it to the finish line located elsewhere. We have also altered the races to add more of a challenge: sometimes the races have to create a new character that is level 5 and under and other times we have had the racers running without any gear equipped. The Scavenger Hunts place one or more teams (solo or multiple players) against one another in a race to find a series of locations described in riddles. The first team to the finish line wins! Both events are open to the public and prizes will be awarded to the top three winners.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
As a guild, for me our most memorable moment was during our last PvP raid. We only had a raid of 12 members and the campaign we joined was heavily under control of Daggerfall. They were holding the majority of the Aldmeri Dominion territory. Our group moved up to Drakelowe and took over the surrounding mine, lumber mill, and farm. We then put down a tent and reinforcements came in and we were able to take over the keep. Sacred Haven started the battle there and since we targeted a keep behind enemy lines, we were able to take it over with little resistance. We repeated this strategy with Alessia since other Aldmeri Dominion players was keeping Daggerfall busy at other locations. After this, Aldmeri Dominion began taking over other keeps in our area and the tide of the war had definitely changed.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
Sacred Haven secretly awaits the return of Jyggalag. We live our lives as if we were "Knights of Order" and hope that when he returns; we will be chosen to help cleanse the world. Our guild does not know Jyggalag is actually Sheogorath. Of course, we would not believe it if we were told. I think a great expansion for ESO would be including a "Greymarch" event.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
The majority of us gather in Elden Root, Grahtwood when not out adventuring. It has everything we need in a close proximity. If guild housing is ever added to the game, we would want something very similar to Elden Root—crafting stations, bank, vendor, and a wayshrine all in one area.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1) Sacred Haven has a few members that make videos and/or live stream all their Elder Scrolls Online gameplay. True: <LINK>.
    2) The guild leader Sarcoth had to take a break from running the guild in 2008 (Vanguard) and appointed Zorus as the co-leader of the guild to run it in his absence. Sarcoth returned to the post in 2010 with the release of Rift. Today, Sacred Haven is led by Sarcoth, Zorus, or both across any game the guild is playing. True.
    3) The oldest member of Sacred Haven is over 100 years old. False, he's only 86, but we respect him as if he was older than every member…added together.
    4) Sacred Haven has seen a fair share of members meet, fall in love, and get married over the years. One such union resulted in a baby girl named, Olivia "Haven". True! <LINK>
    5) The guild has more women in the guild than men. False, but our membership does contain 33% women. We are happy to see so many ladies playing the game these days. Men pretending to be women are not counted.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
All members of the rank Guardian and above have the ability to invite new recruits to Sacred Haven. If you are interested in joining, contact any member and they will find someone able to invite you. If you would like to speak to an officer first, then you can contact @Sarcoth, @Delvar, @Nightreaver, @Osacian, or @Varen. Anyone wishing to rise in rank will need to register on our forums and fill out an enlistment application.

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

Our guild is called The Ashen Hand. We are a group of various professionals, misfits and outcasts who are dedicated to resurrecting the illustrious legend of The Ashen Hand guild, formerly lead by Tornash Ashen Hand, roguish but kind hearted Orsimer thief. Some will view us as mere pirates and thugs while others may see us as heroes of the community.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

IC our guild was formed in 2E 534.

OOC our guild was formed in January 2013 and the core beginnings were comprised of talented and endearing friends from previous games.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

We are a Daggerfall Covenant only guild.

Why did you choose that alliance?

Originally, we chose to go with Daggerfall simply for the Redguard and Orc playable races. Most of us aren’t as much interested with the politics of the alliances as we are in finding ways to build our fortunes and continue our legacy.

How many members does your guild currently have?

We are currently at 47 members.

Does your guild have a website?

    We are at TheAshenHand.com

What times and days is the guild most active?

We are a North American guild active all day with a large weekend peek. There are less people on in the wee hours of the night but it is common to see more than twenty players online on evenings and weekends.

What countries do your members span?

To keep time conflicts at a minimal, we are primarily a North American guild.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

The Ashen Hand enjoys all aspects of The Elder Scrolls Online, but we categorize ourselves as an RP guild.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

The Ashen Hand enjoys a combination of everything offered in game. We believe in getting our money’s worth! We have a loose schedule of reoccurring events throughout the week such as PvP practice, Dungeon runs, guild wide RP and more. We also offer a separate crafter’s trading network guild so that our craftsmen can help one another level up their skills.

    What makes your guild unique?

I feel there are many reasons why The Ashen Hand is unique. We foster community spirit and the belief that strengthening the individual will strengthen the whole. None of our activities are mandatory, but we are very welcoming to people interested in trying out things they may have never done before. (Such as RP or PvP) We also encourage member written guild lore so that everyone feels they have a “hand” in building The Ashen Hand. We are, for the most part, mature without taking ourselves too seriously…and there’s a party in vent every Friday night!

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

The Ashen Hand has not yet allied with any other guilds, but we are very open to working with RP and PvP guilds.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

The Ashen Hand recently celebrated our first successful major RP storyline arc with a three part RP/mission storyline.

    hand2.png

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

Every time I get the opportunity to beat a dungeon with my friends and figure out boss mechanics ourselves, every time I see members helping one another with quests or gear, every time I spot a familiar face in a tavern, every time I hear my friends laugh in Ventrilo…these are all my favorite moments. Holding our own keep for three hours was a memorable one too!

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

While The Ashen Hand does not subscribe to any set worshipping guidelines, and members are free to be as religious or non-religious as they wish…I do believe there are some Daedric worshippers among us.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

Several people from The Ashen Hand RP nightly after the day’s business is done. Finding new places to get together and revel in our adventures is part of the fun.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

The Ashen Hand is comprised of approximately 40% women.

We have an active website with hundreds of threads.

We celebrate FNV! (Friday Night Vent) It is a longstanding tradition of hopping into vent on Friday nights and having a drink with friends.

We have many talented artists and writers in our guild!

The founder of The Ashen Hand is an NPC character, and members are encouraged to write lore snippets to grow the legend of the guild.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

If people are interested, they can contact one of the following persons:

    @dherin1969 – Recruiting Officer
@cyruskring – Recruiting, Second in command
    @civilizedsavage – Guild Leader

•What is your guild’s name? When was your guild formed? Does that name have a special history of significance? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be. The Order of the Protectorate was formed over two years ago when my brother, my best friend, and myself decided to band together to run for a political vanarchy spot in another MMO that would otherwise be unfilled, leaving an entire zone without precious vendors that many players relied on. The three of us wanted to see what vanarchy was like and gave it a shot, working hard to ensure one of the major max-level areas would not go without its cherished merchants.

Before we created the guild we all enjoyed playing together, but were dissatisfied with the guilds we were in. At the same time, we couldn't find a guild we were really eager to join, so we formed one together and worked to make it everything we ourselves would want from a guild. A place full of people you could do anything with and have a good time. Whether it’s progressing through the most difficult dungeons of the game together, coordinating stunlocks in PvP, or simply chatting about anime in voice chat. We wanted to create the kind of guild that would be able to attract the best kind of people and give them a place they could cultivate their talents and ambitions within the game while playing with others that they liked and respected. And I really think we've been able to do that for all our members, and will always continue to strive to make it the best experience for all of them we can offer.

The name of the guild was chosen because of the way our order runs in roleplay, as well as how we conduct ourselves within the megaserver as players. A protectorate is considered a land that is protected by a strong body from anything that would seek to corrupt or damage the order and tranquility of its people and territories. Our order exists to protect all of Tamriel from evil and strife, so in that sense the entire realm of the game is our “protectorate” that we serve. By naming this order “The Protectorate” we are always reminded of the land and people that are our duty to serve and safeguard. Also we thought it sounded like a pretty cool guild name. Though not to be confused with Protect-or-Ate Diner, the place with the best steaks and guards-for-hire in Tamriel. Totally different.

•What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to? We are sworn to no alliance, but have come to the aid of Queen Ayrenn and thus carry the banner of her Aldmeri Dominion.

•Why did you choose that alliance? The inherent claim the elves have to the White Gold Tower is a strong justification; however, what draws us most is the character of the dominion's leader. Out of the three rulers, Queen Ayrenn holds to the highest sense of true justice. While the noble cause to destroy Molag Bal's corruption is shared between all factions, it will be the aftermath of this war that'll clear the air of true intentions. We believe Queen Ayrenn to be the only ruler with no intention of economically manipulating or militarily dominating any part of the losing factions. The Queen's tolerance toward the races of her opposing factions is unprecedented as well. The reason for this is because Queen Ayrenn didn't learn about the other races solely from elven books. Her perception was tempered by a 17 year journey across all of Tamriel during which she cultivated a strong sense of the other races. This led to Ayrenn openly opposing racism and High Elven supremacy; pushing Altmer isolationists toward threats of assassination. If one were to weigh their values and beliefs in the balance that represents this war they would see the scales of justice tip toward Queen Ayrenn, and the Aldmeri Dominion.

•How many members does your guild currently have? We keep a tight core community that doesn't often exceed 30 people.

    •Does your guild have a website? www.protectorateguild.com

•What times and days is the guild most active? We are primarily active during the evening and late night, based mostly on US time zones.

•What countries do your members span? The majority of members are from the US with several members from the UK, New Zealand, Estonia, Brazil, Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands.

•What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most? Fighting crime as depicted by our own Justicar Valturion in the picture below.

    chRArim.jpg
    Freeze! You’ve been caught red-handed!

•What does your guild focus on in-game? While most members lean toward PvE we also still focus on PvP and roleplay as most of us are rather ambitious and enjoy exploring every facet of a game. One of our own even held Emperor in the beta. The fact that our guild maintains a compact core membership means we are there to support one another in every aspect of the game, with one member’s enthusiasm often becoming the entire guild’s interest very quickly.

•Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination? To support our sisters and brothers we face all challenges standing together; facilitating each facet necessary to keep the guild functioning in all capacities from crafting, to cave diving, to the destruction of all that is malice.

•What makes your guild unique? We believe that what’s more important than a person’s interests in ESO or how much time they can dedicate to the game is their personality and attitude. The Protectorate tries to gather unique and interesting individuals that display a natural talent for gaming or at least a strong willingness and ability to learn from our members, who are more than happy to help them. When looking for potential recruits, we try to find people who work well with our current guild members in typical situations such as dungeon runs, leveling, PvP etc. While we all like to have clean and swift runs of dungeons, we also look for the kind of people we could be wiping and doing terrible with and still have a fantastic time. People who really add something special to the mix when they play with others in ESO.

•Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? No, we are an alliance of players bound by an ancient creed to uphold unwavering justice.

•Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them! Yes, we just recently held a guild gathering where we celebrated the guild's first veteran ranked member!

    c8ZLHEG.jpg

•What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO? We accidently set a church on fire...

    IeKBbGW.jpg

•Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? Depends on who you ask as to where their devotions lie. *Queue dramatic music*

    799px-OB-interior-Arkved%27s_Retreat.jpg

•After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down? The Salted Wings Tavern is an energizing yet calming atmosphere until you realize that one of your guild mates is actually a werewolf.

    EZEcYTn.jpg

•Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. In another MMO, Guild Master Primus led a Protectorate detachment to defeat a demonic nightmare which was routing a foreign unit. The sole survivor of that unit would eventually become second-in-command of the Protectorate.
    2. The Protectorate, while two years old, has always kept the same core officers. Once a justicar always a justicar.
    3. Our guild enjoys the company of all backgrounds from cops, to doctors, to lawyers, to just simple students.
    4. In our previous MMO, Guild Master Primus led the entire server in a PvE war that spanned nearly an entire province.
    5. The presence of Justicar Aygox, High Priest of the Protectorate, is so powerful that his uttering of a single word will silence an entire Mumble filled at maximum capacity.

•If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact? Guild Master @Sindorius, or any of the four Justicars: @Valturion, @Aygox, @Sheaden, and @Saleiu

    What is your guild’s name?
    Angels of Death

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
Our guild was formed in 1999, here is a link to our entire guild history.
    http://www.clanaod.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3286
AOD has been around for over 15 years and many of the original members have come and gone, we have a retelling of our founding which was posted by one of the earliest members, not the first but pretty close and in the link above he describes how AOD became a massive gaming community.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
    Ebon Heart Pact

Why did you choose that alliance?
They were rumored to be the underdogs on the US server, and we like a challenge.

How many members does your guild currently have?
AOD as a whole consists of over 1500 members spanned across 9 different games we officially support such as, BF4, Planetside 2, Arma 3, War Thunder, World of Tanks. In ESO we currently have 74 members in our Guild.

Does your guild have a website?
    www.clanaod.net

What times and days is the guild most active?
We are active everyday with peak times being in the evenings (5pm - 1am EST) and all day on the weekends.

What countries do your members span?
USA and Canada are the majority but we have members from all over the world. ESO in particular has many members from Europe and Oceana.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
Organized PVP groups, Sky-shard hunting, PVE dungeon runs, Helping each other, Sharing materials and crafting for each other.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
Same as above. We always try to put the needs of other members before our own, and when everyone has this mentality, it creates a truly fun and helpful game environment.

    What makes your guild unique?
With ClanAOD you don't just join a guild for the game you are playing, ESO, in this case. You join a gaming community, you can jump onto any other game we play, put our tags on and play on our servers with other members who will welcome you.
Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
We are currently not apart of any larger guild alliance, however, as we get settled into ESO this is something we are going to start exploring.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
We have events going on throughout the week. We do organized PVP where we form a raid group and use ventrilo. We set dates and times to run certain dungeons, and just be available to help members who need it.
What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
I would say the launch of ESO, getting all of our members who had already applied or been with AOD before the game was launched, and getting in game with them and setting up our unique 5 guild system.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
    No, not at this time.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
We go to town to empty our bags, deposit items in our guild banks. Then see what loot we have that others might need or what we can craft for them, while talking about our day in ventrilo.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
We have a 5 guild system for ESO, our main guild, named after our clan, Angels of Death and our Crafting guild, Merchants of Death are reserved for full AOD members only. Our 3 other guilds, correspond with each alliance and are open to all players of the game who might at one time wish to join AOD. These guilds are designed to allow players to get a sneak peek at what we are about. We include these members in events and offer some assistance to materials and items, as well as other services players can assist with. AOD is also an honor based clan, we do not care how good you may or may not be. We are looking for loyal members who want to have fun in a social gaming community.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
Applications can be submitted via our website at: www.clanaod.com (Please note: registration is required for full membership).

Our guild is [Hope and Glory], a name we have been using for many years, across many MMOs. I can't say if the name has any special meaning as our genesis is back in the mists of time and blends with the guild's folklore. What I can say is that it has a very specific meaning for us. It is our on-line home across time, games, races, countries, sex and ideologies.

    SEObanner_zps4e522da0.jpg

    We are the MMO Elders
We started back in 2007, in LOTRO, on the Gilrain server, from a small core of online friends who enjoyed playing together as a group. Seven years later we still follow the same principles, we enjoy playing together as a group. As a guild we focus on having a good time and having fun playing together. We recruit nice real people in the community and we do not judge on experience or ability. Our cheesy motto is
"You can teach a person to be a good player. You can't teach them to be a good person"
should tell you all you need to know!

Our members are helpful, friendly, considerate, active and social. As a result when online we have a laugh and to feel comfortable and happy with the people we play with.

Hope and Glory is not just an ESO guild, we are a gaming community. We are currently active in LOTRO and SWTOR with a full guild support. We have members also playing World of Tanks, Diablo 3 and other games. Many of our members play in more than one game so we tend to think our forums and ventrilo as the common base for all our diverse online activities.

    Is our guild unique?
I think so. We have a long history, with members that have stuck with us for over 6 years. We have achieved many server, Europe servers and World Firsts and Seconds in LOTRO. Most important we achieved these without compromising our non hard-core atmosphere but with focusing on being a friendly group and leveraging each other’s best points. I think we are unique because we have lasted the test of time and we are still good friends.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYXjhIVzTWA
    H&G in ESO
Looking at ESO, we started in the Ebonheart Pact although over time we will be expanding setting bases in the other alliances. The Ebonheart Pact came as the preferred choice from the majority of our members when the game was announced. Some of us made the choice based on the Elder Scrolls lore as long time followers of the series, while others liked the races in the pact. Whatever the reasons, I feel we made a good choice. The Pact has good races to pick for tanks, healers and DPS, as well as sufficient numbers in total to make an impact in Cyrodiil.

Talking about our activities in ESO, we are a diverse bunch. We certainly class ourselves as a PVE guild but that is not all. Many of us enjoy PVP and we organise events in Cyrodiil to farm skyshards, to take a keep or two, quest runs, or just plain carnage! As our members start getting in the veteran levels we will be organising regular raiding parties taking on the dungeons and later the adventure zone. Whatever the activities, one thing is key - we do it as a guild, together.

So far in ESO we have organised a Cyrodiil skyshard hunt which was a blast! We are still leveling our characters so we had little time to get together but each dungeon we did as a group was memorable.

We are very new in ESO but in LOTRO we have organised server wide PVP events, friendly competitions. I think in time, Hope and Glory will be making its presence in the ESO EU server as a good community to be with.

We are a Small Big Guild
How big are we? Currently our website lists 221 members but we will be lying if we said everyone is currently active. Indeed some of our members don't actually actively play any of our 3 sponsored games but they have been dear friends and follow the guild online and in our real life meetings. In ESO we currently have 40 members. We would like to think that our guild offers people everything they want without having to join others social groups.

Our guild membership is mostly from the EU, everywhere in the EU, but we also have members from the USA and South Africa. As long as you speak English, somewhat, and you are a nice, friendly person, the location is not an issue. Our organised game activities are during evening EU hours, typically starting at 7:30 GMT.

    Hope and Glory Online
As every well respected guild we have a website at www.hopeandglory.eu which forms our common base of operations. Each game we currently support has its own home, as well as taking part in the common areas. The Shoutbox is our form of quick communication with everyone.

Many of our new members have commented positively on our use of Calendar to organise activities across all the games. Looking today on the calendar you will find something organised happening every day in one game or another - or all! We are an active community and our officers ensure there is something for everyone.

Our website also caters for the game servers’ downtime! We have a number of online games and leaderboards hosted on the website. When ESO is down, come to us for Yeti Sports, Bejeweled, Snake, Frogger and many other all-time favourite arcades.

    33yq45z.jpg
We are a very social guild
As well as game activities we also organise regular online parties. A virtual pub quiz, a spot of karaoke, some play acting is just some of what we do. For our members we organise an annual real life meeting somewhere in EU. It’s a weekend of fun, laughs, activities, drinks and a really good time. We always get a crowd of 15 to 20 people and make a really good weekend.

Concluding this profile let me say thanks ESO for giving us the opportunity to introduce our guild.
Here are some fun and/or embarrassing facts for us – Enjoy and Visit us at www.hopeandglory.eu
    1. Some of our members are very fond of goats [yes, the mammals with hoofs that climb mountains]. Can't say more, you have to join to find out!

    2. Our officers are a funny and wild bunch. One of them was photographed sleeping on the hotel corridor carpet during one of our real life meetings!

    3. One of our members was in a hospital for a very long time. One day he suddenly received a card with the real signatures of practically every member from across all Europe. The impossible mystery of its creation is only rivalled by the power of an Elder Scroll.

    4. During one of our online parties, as part of the fun games we play, one of our female members acted the famous Katz's Delicatessen scene from "When Harry Met Sally". Shortly later she was married. Enough said.

    5. In our raids you may hear the phrase “Has he gone for a bath?” when someone is AFK for some time. A long time ago a 24 man raid was doing LOTRO Helegrod, half way after the first boss, one of the members said “AFK 30 mins, going for a bath”. And he walked off …

We are a unique guild, with long history, dedicated members, focusing on enjoying the most of our gaming time. Visit us at www.hopeandglory.eu

    Battleborn Sentinels

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
The guild’s name is the “Battleborn Sentinels”. We originally took the name “The Brotherhood of Rangers”, but after much debate we decided that is best for us to rename the guild, as we were pulling in very few non-nightblades. We made a thread and all the users came up with some of their favorite names. We all voted on our favorites, and the current name came out as the winner. Our name is unique as it represents the whole guild and not just a select few founders, as all active members had a role in the new name. We are a guild made up and represented by the members.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
Our guild was originally founded by a fan of the game named Aradorn, right around when the game was announced. Eventually, more and more people joined in, until we became the largest guild in Tamriel Foundry (under our original name, “The Brotherhood of Rangers”) for a while. The modern version of the guild “formed” around the time of our rename, as we also did some restructuring.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
Why, the Ebonheart Pact of course!

Why did you choose that alliance?
The guild was started well before the explorer’s pack announcement, so originally the guild started with just the three Pact races in mind: Nords, Argonians, and Dunmer. Although we started like that, we have grown to love the Pact. To us, the Pact stands for freedom from oppression and brotherhood (or sisterhood!), values we hold at the core of our guild.

How many members does your guild currently have?
Currently we have about 100 uses on the site (which we use as our official count), of which about 3/4s are full members.

Does your guild have a website?
Yes! You can check us out at http://battlebornsentinels.com/.

What times and days is the guild most active?
We have guild members all around the world, so there is almost always someone playing, but our main times are about 4 PM to 3 AM Eastern time, as we are primarily a North American Guild. We play daily, with lots of activity on weekends.

What countries do your members span?
All around the globe! We have members in North America, Europe and Oceania. Specifically: USA, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, the UK, and Switzerland.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
Everything! If we had to pick one thing, it would be PvP. We, as a non-focused guild, have members that opt out of PvP, but many of us have a blast together in PvP. At this time, however, many are taking a break to push out Veteran Rank 10.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
We actually pride ourselves on not having a focus. We have something for everyone, whether it be hardcore PvPers, dedicated PvEers, or crafters. Based off that fact, I would say it is a combination.

    What makes your guild unique?
Our acceptance of everyone’s playstyle. We let only dedicated members in, but once they are in, as long as they maintain activity, they are free to play how they want.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
Not at this time, no, but we have guilds that we have ties with, and are scouting out our options for an alliance in our home campaign of Wabbajack.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
We run PvP events every single night on Wabbajack, and everyone is free to join our 512 person teamspeak for this. Just go into Wabbajack at night and ask for the Battleborn Sentinels!

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
We actually have two! One is more fun, one is more serious (and much more important). Although this was in beta, we ran a naked siege and managed to take several keeps. Nothing short of the emperor himself can beat naked sieges! Our second is Drog being crowned emperor on Volendrung. He was the first emperor of the Battleborn Sentinels on Volendrung, and many of us worked for hours into the night to secure this position for him. It came only hours after we dethroned the AD emperor on the server. We have since moved to Wabbajack.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
Why... how dare you ask such a thing! We would never follow a Daedric Prince! But if we did... we would each have our own favorites.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
Wind down! That is a funny sequence of words. If we aren’t out cutting down the enemies of the Pact, we are carousing in the tavern with plenty of mead!

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. We have a group in our guild known as “Carebear Hit Squad”.
    2. We are implementing a unique democratic system of leadership. Our rulers... er... leaders are voted in by all members, reinforcing our idea of a guild made up of members, not leaders.
    3. We have a wide age range, ranging from 16 to 53.
    4. The average member drinks about 4 (8 oz) caffeinated beverages per day, but interestingly a negligible amount of alcohol.
    5. Like any good guild, we have cookies aplenty.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
Currently, Arthnoxx is the one that handles recruitment. He can be found on Tamriel Foundry, Reddit, or on Enjin under the Arthnoxx username.

A few scroll-capping pictures soon after we crowned our first guild emperor, Drog:

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
    Noble Nine
It went under a different name until late last year when it was changed to represent the nine members who started it.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
Noble Nine was formed in ESO on March 30th, the actual forming of the guild was back in August of 2013. We were just a bunch of friends who had met in real life and online. Guild Wars 1 and 2, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 11 and A Realm Reborn, Tera, Secret World, Neverwinter, etc were just some of the games where we called home at one point in time. After some talking we decided to break off from our former name (Heaven's/Knights) and took on the name of Noble Nine.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
We fight for the Dominion, but in the end no one will rule Tamriel.

Why did you choose that alliance?
It was decided that Queen Ayrenn Arana Aldmeri had the best chances of winning the Cyrodiil war as well as she seems to not favor her own Altmer over the Khajit or Bosmer.

How many members does your guild currently have?
In total we have 14 members, though 2 of them are emissaries from other guilds.

Does your guild have a website?
No, one would not be necessary

What times and days is the guild most active?
    11pm EDT - 12am EDT

What countries do your members span?
We have members North America mostly, but we do have a few in England.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
PvP for the most part. All of us are challenge seekers, if we are no outnumbered atleast 10 to 1 then it is not worth our time.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
Almost all of us enjoy Cyrodiil, but we dont fight for the keeps specifically. We focus more on scouting, preventing enemy reinforcements, stealing scrolls, and when the time arises holding down zerg squads. A few of them are master artisans and enjoy making plenty of gold when they get the chance when they are not in Cyrodiil.

    What makes your guild unique?
What dosent? We are 9 people fighting against entire groups, guilds, even factions. We recently got the nickname The Black Hands after hunting down an enemy emperor several times and keeping them and their group out of our larger advances on enemy keeps.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
    Not currently.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
    Not currently.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
When we hunted down our first empress "Anatu".

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
The guild as a whole does not acknowledge the Daedric Princes or their powers. We do have two members who favor Meridia and Shegorath individually but that is about it.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
As of recently we had started to hang out in northern Reaper's March for both the scenery and the swarm of players trying to get vampire or werewolf bites. Its most amusing.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. We have taken the entire map twice with 20 players most of which were new to Cyrodiil.
    2. We helped crown the first Empress in Scourge (Lady Lightbright) during early access.
    3. Two members know almost every Disney song.
    4. With the exception of two all of us are Beta testers and have been playing MMO's for 10+ years now.
    5. Other then provisioning we have at least 1 person who can craft lvl 50+ items from each craft. And give lower level equipment away to new players they run into.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
To join you would need to contact me. (@sushiX0) while we spend a lot of time in Cyrodiil we aren't forcing anyone who wants to join to PvP exclusively.

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
"Though we walk different ground, we fight under OneSky"

Our guild's name, OneSky, is meant to symbolize unity, synergy, and chemistry; as well as inexorable individual freedom under an ironclad banner of unity. In regards to historical significance, we've been together for quite some time, and in our past game, we dominated PvP across 3 servers, with minimal numbers, and held an undefeated streak for more than four years; sieging nearly every weekend.
When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
In 2006 or 2007 (I don't recall, as I joined in 2008) OneSky was formed as a merger between a PvP guild called RedSky, and another guild with a sky-oriented name, in Rappelz. OneSky, as a guild, was somewhat of a pariah among guilds, as they sought to grow purely through building bonds with existing guildmates, and existing within their sovereignty. Together, they built the foundations for an indomitable guild-community that has stayed strong for well over half a decade.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
OneSky currently resides under the banner of the Ebonheart Pact, though our loyalties are inward, rather than outward.

Why did you choose that alliance?
Although we're not a roleplay community, if you were to ask me, I'd say that OneSky chose the Ebonheart Pact purely due to the unstable political climate, lack of military bureaucracy; which would allow OneSky to exist in a sovereign sense, and under no entity's thumb.

How many members does your guild currently have?
OneSky is home to 76 individuals. Typical active days see between 20-30 online at a time, and on the low end, 11-15 online.

Does your guild have a website?
Our most recent website can be found here: http://onesky.enjin.com/home

What times and days is the guild most active?
Prime-time tends to be 4 Pacific, 7 Eastern, onwards into the night on weekdays, and depending on whether or not we're doing a weekend event, weekends can either be packed, average, or quiet.

What countries do your members span?
United States, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
I'd say it's a toss-up between organized guild-sanctioned crafting, and devouring keeps in PvP.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
We decided that, to be relevant in one field, a guild must be ubiquitous in all fields (save for roleplay, which we don't actively commit to in a serious sense). Although we're "booked" as a PvP guild, due to our past, we're really a PvX community at our heart.

    What makes your guild unique?
Every legacy guild is unique in some way. What makes OneSky unique, is that we have an incredibly stringent vetting process that enables us to host a round table guild, on a first name basis, and espouse a sense of social intimacy with one another. Many of us have known one another for upwards of 6-7 years, and we take the foundations of our community very seriously. Everyone is known by name, everyone has a voice, everyone can potentially harness the propensity to lead OneSky at large, someday. Collaboration and unanimous consensus are what keep us moving forward. In regards to PvP, our success has been derived from our ability to muster for events, and given the pride in each and every guildmate, there's an implicit "never say die" attitude of determination to win against our enemies.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
Formal alliances pervert a guild's solidarity and sovereignty, and a guild should be able to stand alone, on it's own feet, before investing itself with other guilds. We're very conservative with alliances, and constantly seek to limit other guilds' influences on ourselves. We're also very respectful of other guilds' sovereignty, and approach outsiders who we plan to work with, with absolute humility. Presently, we have an informal siege-pact with Draugen guild, and friendship with Vokundein, Neon Grind, and a few others. We don't tend to actively make many new friends, as many of our relations formed with other guilds happened long before the game went live.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
We set up scheduled events, weekly. However, further details are proprietary, as to protect times and dates in which we'll be committing to large-scale wars.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
Basically, seeing how smoothly everything took off, once the game went live. 0 Drama, lots of enthusiasm and desire to level/get stronger and attend events. However, if I had to pick one event, it would have to be our early siege-Sunday on Wabbajack, after the first week of the game going live. We all took our first keep(s) together, and helped our faction expand deep into both sides of enemy territory, over the course of 3 hours.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
Sheogorath is pretty popular in OneSky, but I doubt anyone would bother getting their knees dusty over any of them.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
Teamspeak after dark, not for the faint of heart.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
1). Our guild has seen 3 marriages between members, internationally, over the last 7 years.
2). After losing a 1 year siege win-streak in 2008, OneSky started a new no-loss siege record that went from 2009-2013, with many members seeing over 200 weekend dungeon-sieges together (Game: Rappelz).
    3). WE LOVE SIEGE.
4). Several of our guildmates have traveled from NA to EU to meet one another, and vice-versa, over the last half-decade.
5). We sanction our own dedicated crafters, powerlevel them with mats, and reap the benefits of people willing to craft endgame gear for each guildmate from our pooled-resources.

Wow a thread for the Guilds and i like it, thank you.
We are a PS4 only guild and there for as yet we have not played ESO, although we have members who joined the beta few times.
The guild was formed in October 2013, at the time I was just looking at joining a guild but to my horror found out the console guilds where just not arround, it did make some sense as neither of the platforms where launched. So i set about creating a guild Ayrenn Councillors.
With a nome like that it is obvious that we are a Dominion guild, and the reason for me was simple, as i read the reasons for the war and each factions reasons for it, I came to accept that the Queens Ayrenns vision for Tamriel was the one that appealed to me.
We are Ayrenn Councillors because we will have the best fighters and crafters on the land.
The guild is structured in such a way to make sure that all types of players can enjoy the game regardless of their play style and time spent in game.
We have 3 dedicated PVP Orders that will be lead by their own leaders,
One dedicated Crafting Order with a system in place for those who wish to be our master crafters.
An Order for the younger players who can organize, lead and war by themselves, but also join the bigger efforts.
A casual and PVE order, where also new recruits can join in order to get trained for one of the more PVP oriented Orders.
Even the 3 PVP orders will have different fighting styles, to again have people join the Order that suits their style most.
Allot of time and thought was spent to make sure we have a community that calls Ayrenn Councillors home in Tamriel.
    Our website is www.aryenncouncillors.guildlaunch.com
We are about 70 strong and are looking at 150 membership as first stage, we will have a second stage of growth once in game.
Our members are from all over the world, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Denmark, Sweden, UAE and more, we will be a world guild and intend on having players on line most times.
So here is brief history, aim and composition of our guild, Our leaders a very dedicated to the Game, the Guild and its members and we do our best to advice the new members as to where to start within our structure.
Thank you for allowing us to have our little say.

What is your guild’s name? The Queen's Fancy
Does that name have a special history of significance?
Queen Ayrenn has cherry picked adventurers to follow in her footsteps before she came queen, in the strict authority that one day we step up like she did and join her campaign in Cryodill.
When was your guild formed? First day of Early Access.
Tell us the story of how the guild came to be. I wanted a small guild that was light rp, pve, pvp and very social on TeamSpeak. The best thing was to create my own guild and recruit 50 members. Recently our cap has gone to 60, in aid of recruiting female people to balance out the guild gender.
What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to? The Aldmeri Dominion
Why did you choose that alliance? For the Queen of course.
How many members does your guild currently have? 51 atm.
Does your guild have a website? www.fancyclan.com
What times and days is the guild most active? 5 to midnight GMT.
What countries do your members span? Canada, Ireland, UK, France, Belgium, Dutch, Danish, Russian, Israeli, USA, South African, German and sorry if I've forgot the others. We are really quite international.
What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most? Our weekend community events and our daily Ad Hoc evening adventures.
What does your guild focus on in-game? Having fun, and adding to the ESO experience by curating fun events to do within the game.
Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination? Dungeons together of course, plus the world bosses. Our roleplay is light and is done on Sundays. Our beauty pagent Miss Tamerial is currently underway. We are big into crafting too, and help each other especially with research and deconstruction. Pvp, we have reached out to 8 guilds and now do large scale pvp twice a week. And we do community events to get skyshards in Cyrodill.
What makes your guild unique? It's small and friendly community, yet offer you the best that a large guild can have, as part of our alliance. We plan activities every week too, to help give you that extra that an MMO can offer.
Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Yes 8 in total.
Why did you join them? To give our members the chance to join in the epic pvp that is over 200 attacking keeps, all organised in TeamSpeak.
Does your guild ever host special events? All the time!!
If so, tell us about them! Miss Tamriel Compeition is part create a beautiful alt, and part photographer as you have to take a great selfie doing a nice emote. Our community gets to vote on it and there is a nice reward for winning. We also do Skyshard hunts, in Cyrodill, doing the overland and then the dungeons. I may have to do a Dark Anchor hunt as they are proving popular distractions in Cyrodiil. In the future we have a health and fitness event (no spoilers, as its coming after the Miss Tamerial.) So yeah... light rp. Curated content for all to enjoy.
What is your favourite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO? Sky shard hunts are very fun, as it introduces pve people into pvp. As it is a nice paddling pool for them to warm up. Many on the runs, have actually got a taste of pvp from these events and has been great to see.
Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one? Not yet, but we do have vampire and warewolves, so I can't be too sure of the politics of some of our members!
After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down? Having some fun with our alts and fishing is becoming a thing!!!
Tell us five fun facts about your guild. Socially bubbly, weekly curated content, eso lore fans, part of a larger gaming community, and the secret sauce: like minded players.
If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact? Just drop me an ingame mail to @Lipstickpaddy (EU Server). We are only allowing female people to balance our gender numbers, as the Queen herself is not happy with too many males being in our guild. (Real life not character based.) The light RP cannot be missed within our forums!!

Here a short video of us in the Temple of Moths in Cryodill having a break.

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance? When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

The Eternal Flames are burning – in different forms, but with the same unquenchable flame – from 2008. We are a band of adventurers sworn to protect the world from evil, while living and acting together as brothers and sisters.

Our name is a dedication to Sun, the Eternal Flame, that surrounds everything and brings hope and light to our paths and stands against Darkness and evil. In Tamriel we are dedicated to the uttermost objective of protecting our land against Mogal Bal.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to? Why did you choose that alliance?

Although we are a multiracial band of heroes, we stand beside Aldmeri Dominion and Queen Ayrenn. Three members of our Guild are seating in the Queen’s Council and believed that the Dominion could open its door to every race in Tamriel. We strongly support cooperation and we act against the old Altmer belief of superiority. We fight to change this anachronistic perspective, a move that originates from the Queen. Only cooperation and wise guidance can offer a viable Empire.

How many members does your guild currently have? What times and days is the guild most active? What countries do your members span?

Nowadays, we have 52 able Guards (Guildmates) ready to face the Challenges of Mogal Bal and of the Alliance War. We always have watches guarding Tamriel, but we are on our high efficacy during afternoons and evenings (when the play hours meet with our schedule, although we all originate from either Greece or Cyprus, we have member living in a variety of countries from the UK to Bulgaria.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

We have active battalions both in the Aldmeri Dominion territories and in Cyrodiil. We do have dedicated crafters as well as some artists. We are active at all the different experiences that Tamriel can offer (meaning PvE, PvP and RP events). As always, we are bound to be wherever duty calls us. And we altogether enjoy all these aspect of the game, while chatting (seriously or not) in our RaidCall server.

    What makes your guild unique?

The core of the Guild plays MMOs (and other co-op and otherwise games) from 2007. We do not believe that we are something unique, but we know that we have built – firstly among us – a common understanding of what we want and how we want it. We know each other very well and we have built strong bonds. Co-operation, help, fun and enjoyment are the cornerstones of our gaming (and real life) philosophy. We work very hard to expand these notions to every new member of the guild; the aim is to build a lot more than a mere gaming Guild.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

At this time we are not part of any larger alliance of guilds. We just have a large trading consortium with some other Greek-speaking guild and individuals. However we are open to everything the future will bring, having as compass the same ideology and beliefs.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

We are in the making of a RP event in Elden Root that will build the aforementioned in character background of the Guild and will formally introduce it to our new members. We plan to perform scheduled RP events in order to expand the ways that our members can enjoy TESO and Tamriel.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

Battling our ways in Tamriel by the sounds of live music - to our ears by Manolorn (The Bard).

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

Daedric worship? By the Eight Divine, do not speak of them!
On a more serious note we do not have any instances of Daedric worship. However we have a fixed eye on our members as to investigate and reveal any possible secret cultists and purge them once and for all!

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

We always have a fixing point at Grahtwood and Elden Root, being the Capital of Aldmeri Dominion. However, as evil and danger are always present we do not rest for long. Some small breaks from the battle may find us inside one of our Keeps at Cyrodiil.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. We may have a small civil war inside our guild – Werewolves vs. Vampires (they are so many).
    2. Our members’ age ranges from 19 to 65 years old.
    3. Sometimes we play under the sounds of guitar and singing through our VoIP. Manolorn is our bard!
    4. Our first RP event will be held shortly (Sunday)!
    5. Our Banker is a reincarnation of Scrooge Mc Duck. However if you pay him he is the loveliest guy in the world!

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

You can either find us from our forum: http://eternalflames.shivtr.com, or you may contact one of our officers @Caldurion, @cmi30, @Edessus, @efthGr, @Omikrons, @nikhtas17, @Tulcito.

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

Guild Umbra—Umbra is the darkest part of the shadow.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

Guild UMBRA was founded on September 7th 2009 by Lord Hammer, Stilgar, and Malevol to provide an environment for experienced, mature, and relaxed individuals desiring community, purpose, progression and fun. We gather to play online games as a multi-gaming guild, with chapters focusing on games that have more than 20 consistent players. We are a progression guild where the primary intent is to have FUN, through group activates such as RAIDING, PVP, and building immense wealth through innovative Gathering and Crafting activities. Our policies are and will always be clearly displayed to ensure that standards are defined, quantifiable, and attainable to provide members with stability, fairness, and a logical level of expectation from all. To achieve our goals, we will Recruit, Select, and Maintain respectful, experienced, and mature players from across the globe as we track Game Trends, build a robust Economic Base and focus on Activities and Efforts as needed. Leadership begins here – participate and contribute. Respect yourself and your Guild mates, and support your leadership in a positive manner.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

    Aldmeri Dominion

Why did you choose that alliance?

We decided this early on (over a year ago) thinking that Skyrim would produce many Ebonheart players and those that are anti-elf would choose Daggerfall. We figured that Aldmeri would be the least populated, so we chose this side for podcasting, movie making, and streaming purposes.

How many members does your guild currently have?

    Guildwide: 287 current active members
    ESO Chapterwise: 154 active members

Does your guild have a website?

    Yes,guildumbra.com

What times and days is the guild most active?

We are active many times of day and are becoming more active as we recruit more. Originally our guild was created to be an EST guild. All activities are scheduled in the EST time zone. However, with our reputation and with the help of many great games out there, we have expanded our base from North America to Europe and Australia. Currently in ESO, we encompass all of these times.

What countries do your members span?

US, Canada, England, Scotland, Belgium, Australia, Denmark, etc.
Pretty much if you speak English and are willing to talk with us on Teamspeak, we will take you regardless of country.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

We promote doing everything together if possible. If you are the solo type, than a large guild simply is not for you. Our philosophy is that as long as you play together, you will stay with the guild. Makes all games more enjoyable. It makes the grind to levels easier. With that said, we do many activities and our calendar stays full of things to do on a daily basis. We do things by day instead of hour, as we are covering time zones worldwide and do not want anyone left out. We have days like Skull and Crossbone days—where we start at the lowest map and as a group we uncover all skull and crossbones on each and every map until we all die; or Dark Anchor days were we do something similar to above. We have dungeon crawl days where we make groups of four of close to the same level and complete all the dungeons for that level. We have gathering days and skyshard days. And of course we have pvp days.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

We have a solid base of players that have a wide variety of interests. And we allow those interests to grow and flourish. In simple form, we do it ALL!

    What makes your guild unique?

We have been around for a very long time. We are one guild that plays many games. So when ESO is down for repair or patch. We do not disband for the day, instead we play something else TOGETHER. There are no shortage of games out there. We have three current Chapters in our guild. They are ESO, Wildstar (out in June), and Star Citizen (about a year out to release). And in each chapter, we prepare our structure for the base we will run well ahead of the game release. Our ESO chapter started its structure in January 2013.

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

Yes we are. We joined up with many other podcasters because we promote our guild in similar fashion. As the game has released though, we have also allied with some other guilds that play our style.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

Stated above in activities. Regardless of the event, we include everyone we can--even if we must do 2 or more groups at the same time for all levels between 1 and V10.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

This is a very hard question, as there have been too numerous to count. Regardless, in Guild Umbra we always strive for the best we can be and we ALWAYS have fun doing it.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

We only purely follow one not so Daedric entity, and that is Lord Hammer—the Guild Master of Guild Umbra. All other Daedric entities are free to be served by any guild member, provided they do not try to replace the one and only Lord Hammer.

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

We gather everywhere all the time. We have no guild tax, instead anything that you gather and do not use, we donate to the guild. This way, if anyone wants any item made, it is free to those asking. We have guild crafters that will make our guild mates anything that they need.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

We accept only members 18+, our median age is around 33 yrs old and our oldest member is 67.

We are very active in the gaming world. We have our own youtube channel, twitch channel, and we have a presence at many of the gaming conferences around the world. Our name is out there thanks to our Leader, Lord Hammer.

    We are not elitists.

We have several people in the military service or retired from the military service in our guild.

We actually do have women in our guild as well as guys.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

Go to www.guildumbra.com and fill out an application. There will be a short interview that follows by appointment. Only 18+ accepted. https://youtube.com/watch?v=xkHn7ycf3JU

Hello guys, my name is Elyja Rainheart, I am the founder of the guild The Miskatonic Templars, trying to get the word out about us!

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

We are The Miskatonic Templars, as some of you may know this is in refference to some of the great work by H.P. Lovecraft, there is no hidden meaning, we ar just fans of his work, and it seemed to fit well for the game.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

We formed our guild on 4/05/14.

As it is part of the MMO gaming experience, a good group of players is, if not a necessity, a definite requirement, I was the one that started with the whole idea, and spoke to a very close friend and a cousin of mine about it, that's how we came to be. We were looking into the idea of a social guild originally, but are now peering into the possibility of making it a more in depth guild, whilst still maintaining the core focus of community and friendship above all.

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?

We ride with the red banner of the pact. Though we welcome any players of any alliance!

Why did you choose that alliance?

The founders of our guild are big fans of the third installment of the Elder Scrolls, we find ourselves well connected with the pact because of the history we have with the game and it's lore so far.

How many members does your guild currently have?

As of right now, being a fairly new guild, we sit at 10 strong and looking to expand!

Does your guild have a website?

    http://themiskatonictemplars.enjin.com/

What times and days is the guild most active?

We are mostly located in the mid-west, majority of time we play during the US Central time, but we are on at any given time of the day when life permits.

What countries do your members span?

Majority of member reside in the US, we currently only have one member from out of the country.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

We do a bit of everything, PVE mostly, but not limited to, worokig on getting geared up at the moment for PVP and lots of dungeoning.

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

We do a little bit of all of the above mentioned, how ever right now we have been focusing on questing together to get to know each other, especially the new members.

    What makes your guild unique?

We are a small community that focuses on game play and the fun of it, not some military type guild with all sorts of requirements, rules, and regulations. We are here to have fun together and grow in game together as a family sort of speak

Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?

No. But is definitely something to look into, not a priority at the moment.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

So far we haven't done anything big, but I have plans of hosting some streaming events such as PVP, dungeon raiding and the like.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

As a fairly young guild we haven't had many moments, other than recruiting new members, that is always a memorable moment to us!

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

The guild as a whole doesn't, we haven't had the need to resource to a Daedric prince, how ever the backgrounds of our members are still a bit of a mystery, who knows maybe some of them secretly worship the Daedra...

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

We don't yet have a good gathering place for the winding down, but we tend to gather in the main city of what ever zone we may be at the moment of our current play session.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.

We are friendly, charismatic, helpful to the new comers, always looking for something to do as a group, and most importantly we try to keep it fun.

    • What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?
Our guild name is Blazeheart. I don't believe there is a special history behind Blazehearts name.
      KfE7Yji.png
(We have a gold version of our insignia as well.)
    • When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.
Blazeheart was formed January 25th 2013. Strictly to make new friends and wait for the launch of ESO.
    • What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
      The Ebonheart Pact of course!

      FOR THE PACT!
    • Why did you choose that alliance?
The Ebonheart Pact is all about being right and just. The Daggerfall are greedy and the Aldmeri Dominion are all about racial superiority.
    • How many members does your guild currently have?
We have 66, and plan on having about 100 active members.

    • Does your guild have a website?
Yes you can find us at http://www.blazeheart-guild.com
    • What times and days is the guild most active?
      1:00PM EST - 12:00PM EST

      Pretty much everyday!
    • What countries do your members span?
      United States
      United Kingdom
      Sweden
      Ireland
      Brazil
      Australia
    • What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?
      Group dungeons and PvP
    • What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?
We focus on a even balance between PvP and all PvE content. We like everything and don't wont anything to go to waste. If it's in the game we want to do it!
    • What makes your guild unique?
We are a relaxed casual guild. As much as we like progression and getting everything done. At the end of the day all we want to do is have have fun and play together.
    • Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
We originally joined NDGaming for a short while but left because we are a smaller, more causal guild and like to keep our guild business private so we didn't really fit the bill and left. No hate or bad feelings though!
    • Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
Later on I do plan on getting the guildies together for some more organized events but at the moment we all just jump on Gamevox talk and play the game.
    • What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?
Getting in a 6 groups of 4 raid group with the guildies and creating havoc in the AD an DC areas of Cyrodiil! So much fun!
    • Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
I'd like to believe we follow Sheogorath. Everyone in our guild is a little goofy and it seems like he would be the best Daedric prince for anyone to follow anyway. I mean com'on it's Sheo-Freaking-Gorath.
    • After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?
We all head over to Riften in The Rift to drink some Ale, craft some gear and repair our armor/weapons.
    • Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
      1. We use Gamevox for our VOIP, which nobody has really seems to have heard of.
      2. We have a raw sense of humor. If we get to rowdy for others to handle we can tone it done as well, we want our fellow members to feel comfortable and happy.
      3. We have a back story to our guild, which is on chapter 14 and is still being written as the guild progresses.
      4. We are very friendly and if you need help or gear or mats or anything you can asked a guildies for help or assistance we share everything and keep all guild items in the bank for mutual exchange. Don't let this scare you away it works perfectly well and everyone gets what they want.
      5. A majority of our members are already Veteran Rank 1 and up.
    • If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
If people are intrested in our guild add @Spazzkidd3 in game or visit our Website and submit an application. Although we mainly tlak on gamevox and in game, we do use our forums as actively as possible and so I recommend everyone of our members make an account on the site to help show others that might stumble upon it that we are an active guild.

What is your guild’s name? Does that name have a special history of significance?

Our Guild name is Obsidian Brotherhood, It didn't have any special meaning when it was created, but we made it special. To all of us it's not a name anymore it's a home.

When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how the guild came to be.

Our guild was formed for ESO on Oct 19 of 2012. Seems like forever ago now! It's kinda funny, the guild was created very early on, so early the creator had actually forgotten about it a bit and when he came back to it we had tons of spam on the forums. They weren't being used at that time so it's not that big of a deal but it got him back on the case of making the guild. He added some security to the forums so that can't happen and funny enough those spam posts were enough to drive us to the top of google search!

What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to and why did you choose that alliance?

The Brotherhood is loyal to the Ebonheart pact, their background seems to be the most appealing. The alliance driven by strife is always interesting. The enemy of my enemy is my friend!

How many members does your guild currently have?

Currently we have 105 members in game, all active on mumble or in game. Crazy enough I know them all very well!

Does your guild have a website?

Check out our website Obsidian Brotherhood! We have been meaning to update to a more snazzy look for the longest time but it's a lengthy process, and with the game up who has time :)

What times and days is the guild most active?

Most of our members live in NA so were active around the evening hours. For specifics around 5PM-2am Central. We have a few pacific and oceanic times and even a few UK people in the mix. As well as the crazy people who wake up at 5AM and play for a few hours before heading to work.

What countries do your members span?

As mentioned above we have people from the NA, UK, Canada, Romania, and I'm sure even more.

What activities in ESO do your members enjoy doing together most?

We run VR dungeons every day, and few days ago we took some guild screenshots and even had a Rings of marra marriage with a wedding and everything! Down the line we plan on having weekly trial runs and PvP excursions as well as friendly dungeon races.
    8iPu5rb.jpg

What does your guild focus on in-game? Do your members prefer delving dungeons together, fighting for keeps in Cyrodiil, roleplaying in the taverns, crafting and trading, or a combination?

The guild is very much a mix of all different types of players. We accept people based on who they are not how they play. Makes for a much more varied and enjoyable community.
    5YYQn47.jpg

    What makes your guild unique?

As mentioned above our community. A lot of new members ask how long we have been together and are surprised when they hear a number closer to a year when they were expecting 5+ years. After a few weeks they find themselves just as much a part of the community as our long time members.

Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!

We sure do, I've mentioned a few of them above. I have to say tho, the most fun events are those that happen right off the cuff. A few days ago we got 8 people together who were on and wanted to run the same dungeon and decided to race though it. That was a load of fun. Things like that happen all the time in between our scheduled events.

What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESO?

There are so many of them, most of them happen on mumble. All of our inside jokes never grow old and our repertoire keeps growing when new member join in on all the fun. I have to say tho, our first PvP outing was some crazy fun tho, along with our cyrodiil skyshard hunts.

Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?

Well, wouldn't be much of a secret it we just told the entire forums now would it?!

After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy gathering to wind down?

MORE JOKES! The slappy happy hours get quite fun. When everything is chill we might share some music, or videos. Just get to know each other really.

Tell us five fun facts about your guild.
    1. We have a growing list of mispronounced names. Atzeng into Aztang, Tyruss into Terrius, Glassweaver into Glassblower, Celseeth into Sellseeth and so on and so forth.
    2. Life comes 1st, this one is important. Sometimes people get busy and we understand that.
    3. We sent chocolates to the Zos office shaped like the ouroboros logo.
      100_3926.jpg
    4. We look pretty awesome. 4MTkGOm.png
    5. We have a council leadership, instead of the normal 1 guild leader we have 5 guild leaders who all vote on important topics. Currently these people are. Glassweaver, Travail, Aether, Tyrrus, and myself Necro.

If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?

If your interested in membership head over to the website linked above, if you wish to contact us we have an email esobsidian@gmail.com and a facbook
