Goldbrand NA needs more AD and DC players

Now as in right now or now as in today? I was the last non-DC player left in the outpost that EP was taking when Dragon Knight and 2 other vampire dragon knights swooped in to take it from them. You killed me with your ultimate while you were taking the last flag. Are you trying to tell me that you have nothing to do with the zerg that commenced immediately after DC lost emperor? It certainly seems that you are involved.

They waited until you left and started pushing back. My guys started slowly heading to bed. There is no way to keep pushing back against these guys. Even when we wipe them they have camps nearby, or they just keep pushing. They certainly aren't unbeatable, but we've got like 4 guys left defending and they have 15 or so organized people who know exactly what they are doing with very powerful builds. They are mostly guests, too. I guess they aren't quite done farming emperor.

Pact is good. We like Pact. They put up a good fight and don't really stay up any later then us. Covenant is pretty done right now. All they have are these guests farming for emperor. They don't seem to really have anyone else, or at least any organized groups. I wonder when these guys will be gone so we can have a normal campaign again.

They got it again. At least I got a bunch of points holding them off the best I could. Can't wait to do it all again the next time they are disposed as emperor. I'm sure I speak for each other alliance when I say that we can't WAIT to take unrepaired, undefended keeps from DC tomorrow so they can do it all again, because that's so dang fun!

ah - bummer to hear that - we had our hands full on skull crusher we were down to our last two inner empire keeps - at one point we had our scouts count the numbers passing through the gate heading south from ash which they owned, to nikel which we were defending - it was funny and scary at the same time

we had 22 defenders and held them off at the outpost in an epic stand even though we thought all was lost

did they crown a new emperor as in a new character or was it the same group that simply plays at a time when many of us are sleeping and they recrowned the guy we just deposed?

They crown a new emperor each time. Whoever got emperor last leaves the campaign, then they give it to somebody else. They don't care about rankings in this campaign. They just want emperor. They don't defend and they leave the last few keeps they take wide open so they are easy to take back.

ah yeah - it's dickish but totally within the game mechanics of what ZOS has implemented - you don't even get the benefit of fighting back against them really since they vanish after taking the throne - so you're stuck with basically PvD during the day and waking up to all the throne keeps turned blue again in the morning

lemme know if either yourself or Auriel (sp?) that was running with you want into The Noore - am sure we'd find a spot for you

@vaider, PvP implies Player vs Player, in other words fighting against other players while taking and losing keeps. This is something you and yours are clearly not interested in since you don't defend and wait til everyone logs off to retake Emperor.

This is what we are calling farming the emperor, no enjoyment in that for us. Hope you enjoy your consistent PvDoor, pretty sad you guys aren't interested in PvP.

Seomthing just crossed my thought, with Auriels Bow being the most packed and hence the lag and crashes. Will transfering to a new campaign mean any different lag wise?

In my experience, Goldbrand gets laggy when all of ESO gets laggy, like during launch weekend, so maybe.

This campaign is still pretty dead. Pact consistently has defenders and they control everything on the map. AD is only ever active when guests are on and still has no active guilds who make their home there. All it really takes is a good group of active people to get some good action on this campaign. The players seem to be better due to the lower population and not being able to rely on zergs. It's way more tactical. It just sucks that AD is pretty dead and when we do get enough people on to accomplish something, when they eventually have to leave Pact just rolls over and takes everything back.

If anyone still reads this, this is the perfect campaign for a 10 man group. If you have a small, close PvP group, you're sure to have some good fights here. I generally take keeps with 10 or less people and the help of some random people who show up. Yesterday 7 of us stole a keep that Pact was attacking after most of them wiped on NPCs. It's fun, but we can't hold onto anything since AD is so dead on this campaign. We need more guys! Defense is the easy part!

Been stuck in goldbrand for a week and no way out. It will cost 5000 ap and I have 2000. Have tried for a week just to do scouting missions. Too many bottle necks where you die after 2 shots . I know, if I were a decent player I could take on all 5 of those back shooting cowards. I run almost the length of the map and can see my destination and then die. So............I try a different route. Same crap ! Get almost there and someone is invisible ..............I scanned every inch of the bottleneck. As I get closer. . wham in the back. I just need a couple of thousand ap but not gonna happen. I keep looking at the map for activity and it seems that I am alone. I guess the folks that dominate the area are happy that they don't have any competition . Everyone else seems to have bailed. While I have been trying just to change home point I listen to my bro on Skype playing from another home and having a ball. A lot of people there. I know that I should have asked him for the info on which home are you in? Shouldn't be a problem. You are supposed to be able to change home points for free the 1st time, right?
There should be a foolproof way of changing like a note saying" If you are changing home points be sure that you RIGHT CLICK ON THE PLACE YOU WANT TO GO". Instead I followed the onscreen directions and stayed where I was. Alone and screwed . I waited for years for this game to come out. I used to get up at 3:00 a.m. to play Oblivion or Morrowind . Now that it is here I finally made it to veteran lvl 1 and was looking forward to some pvp with my bro. We go all the way back to playing PONG .If you know the game you know how many years we have been at it. I guess it is time to bail so the elitists can back shoot someone else and feel good .
