NA Chrysamere Campaign Thread

A fair number of the DC players I know IRL have left the campaign for other ones and I will be as well once I save up the AP to switch - can't say I care for the attitudes of many of the DC regulars or their guilds.

Great fights tonight. Fights going on at 4 keeps simultaneously. Making slow progress pushing AD back as they got hit from both sides.

Unfortunately it's after 12:30 here so time to get some sleep.

Hopefully the fights continue tomorrow!

@ArcanusMagus‌ and I were coordinating strikes with our combined 60+ people and we couldn't make any gains. Sure, EP took some keeps while Mu Mu *** on us, but, when we all went to bed he took everything. back.

I agree. I think it's time to end this madness. We'll chat more but a combined effort is needed since our population is extremely low... we barely had 20 online last night....

It's not that hard, really, all we need to do is have 5-6 groups and a main group. The satellite groups need to hit every keep at the same time, while the main group follow's the Mu Mu Oil and heal train, these kids love their exploits...

@x3neize has a sound plan, if we can execute it. If we have numbers like last night, I can give you two or three solid teams, at most. Alot of our people, half or more, are below vet rank. They'll fight hard, but there's only so much you can do with that firepower and experience in smaller units and I do not want to dilute Pact forces too much. We'll work together to fix this mess so we can get back to killing each other again.

Not sure how you consider a party of 4 people capturing 20 farms helping Mu Mu. If by help you mean your transit network suffered then sure it helped them. One of their leaders was in our TS and asked us to stay away for the night. Seeing as the entire map was blue I said sure. Beats having @X3NEIZE‌ show up with a party of vets every time you try and capture your first keep with multiple people who aren't even vet rank. No disrespect Xneize but that really wasn't fun getting farmed at the gate of Chim.

It was more like 12, not 4.... and sure cutting down the travel time can really F*** up a group of two.... and I don't recall showing up to any gate with a group of Vets, I typically run alone when in EP territory and almost never push to the gates, in fact I condemn that approach very openly.
Sorry for trying to defend keeps, at least I'm not helping another faction do what they couldn't do alone.

I do agree that your groups only have a pair of Vets, not sure exactly why your Vets aren't PvP'ing, DC seems to PvP mostly with Vets I for one don't even attack lower than Vets when I see them in the open world questing.... They can probably attest to that if some are in your guild.

It's an interesting conundrum that I personally don't have an answer for. For some reason we have a lot of interest from sub vet levels. There are always 10-12 people on that are level 20-35. Problem is they come on for their first pvp experience and they see the entire map covered and can't capture anything and they never want to come back.

I understand the wanting to protect your keeps. I confess I would probably do the same. I was just trying to mix things up and make it interesting, not trying to maliciously offend DC. Apologies if I did. Things can turn in a fort night and I'm sure it won't be long before AD loses their grip. It can happen to any faction and it will no doubt happen to them as well. Looking forward to some friendly pvp.

Also an apology to @ArcanusMagus‌ . I was really heated earlier and said some f'd up stuff. You are a valuable contributor to our community and for that I am thankful you play and didn't leave like the rest. Frustration clearly brought out the worst of me this weekend and hope to bury the hatchet and enjoy a long and fun campaign with everyone.

Since our server is low pop, we need to somehow reach an agreement on all 3 sides, due to the craglorn patch.

Whenever that patch hits, its going to buff keeps and keep guards to VR5 and give them synergies+ Archers. This will wreck our campaign if keeps are harder to take and 1 faction owns 3/4's of the map:

My proposal is this:

The night before the patch hits:

EP must control: Chalman, Bleakers, Arrius, Kingscrest, Blue Road, Sejanus, Drakelowe, Farragut

DC must control: Ash, Dragonclaw, Aleswell, Glademist, Warden, Rayles

AD must control: Blackboot, Roebeck, Faregyl, Alessia,Brindle, Bloodmayne, Nikel

Hopefully we can reach an agreement on all sides, seeing as the the low pop of the EP side will have harder times taking keeps now, and the toughness of keeps/ AD OP emperor will *** on us more witho ur 20 + players only... This is my dream, hopefully it works.

Eros, I respect what you're trying to do, I truly do, but this sounds like a fantasy to me. If it were within my power, I'd sign onto this (except Bleaker's really ought to start as DC to be perfectly fair, which is what you're going for here).

I think it is realistic that we're going to have a hell of a fight on our hands. I think it will be a great night for either of us to take a single keep after the patch goes live. Don't get my wrong, I like the v5 upgrade because it stabilizes the map a little bit. My concern, as I'm sure is yours, is that it will stabilize our map in a very sorry state.

Frankly, I chalk this up to life in the big city, but that's just me.

meh, call it a dream, but perhaps the AD can be reasoned with. After all, they listened to their emperors orders not to touch your outer keeps because he "doesn't deem you as a threat, and doesn't want you to quit the campaign". (he calls your side easy AP)

By Reign, you mean long may he night cap all the keeps while DC sleeps

Yeah this is pretty ridiculous, first of all we AD can't even find more than 5 people at a time for a group, now we have absolutely no chance, because this Crimson Momoji guy is capping all the keeps super early in the morning.

War is fickle thing. You think I enjoy losing two hours of quality sleep toward work the next day by staying up late defending this crap? And just an FYI we all deal with this. For the first two weeks of this campaign EP would do work at night and I would come home from work the next day and it would all be gone. We got creative and you will too:) or continue to live under the rule of Momiji and his fearsome dragonguard

but in all seriousness. WHERE WERE THE EP? Us DC logged around 12am EST because we knew about 20-30 EP will log on to fight Mu Mu and his early morning keep capping crew. EP hasnt shown up the past few days....

This is going to turn out like last weekend, where its 20-30 DC vs 50 AD(where da hell they come from?) vs 0 EP.

Also this is a low pop server, can we at least agree to the rule of no caltrop exploits?

I couldn't do crap against 20 EP piling under a ram throw caltrops down with my 3 oil pots.

DC numbers are dwindling by the day. Its hard for me to get a full group of 24 now on most days. A lot of moved on to wabbajack.

Same with us we can't fill 2 groups on a good day.

We are making due though, and having fun. Would like to see some higher numbers from all sides in any case, seems like we are all running low on troops.

not sure what "thalgorn'ish" was wanting for this campaign even til now.

To be honest, its hard to read through all the comments on me and my guild saying we're exploiting and ***. I really had a few bad days because thalgorn takes my words and convinced the rest of the campaign that I'm nothing but a *** stupid selfish jerk who only wants emperor for myself, and I'm using some kinda bug to achieve that when we're really having a tough time fighting against 3 times of our number or more instead of chicked out and quit and whim on a thread.

For the exploiting rumors. I believe anyone who had been in a fight with us or against us would tell by themselves. We merely organized the people we had and gave a role to everyone. We can do that only by having every individual holding their positions. One part falls, the whole plan falls.

I'm sorry that people start losing interest in pvp or pvp in this campaign. I can't really do anything about that. Maybe that happens when people who used to winning just couldn't deal with losing.

And A message to Thalgorn and his fellow guildies, have fun getting wrecked in a new campaign. We might come someday and take everything you have again. Count on that.

Amen @tylermumu it sure will be a challenge for DC/EP to take the map now b/c of the V5 guards and added abilities. I will have a good time watching everyone cope with the new pvp mechanics and hope we have some good fights in the coming weeks.

DC and EP, that was a good bunch of battles we've had over the past week. Pact-Covenant coordination at Alessia was awesome. I hope we can keep the fights going and without any exploits or huge imbalances.

Hey all, since nothing is really going on atm, and the guards are op now. I figured we could try to get some duels going. I'll be hanging around the area directly south of Bruma's southern wall if anyone would like to come fight
