NA Chrysamere Campaign Thread

JacobJ
JacobJ
Since Chrysamere doesn't have a thread yet aside from a request for help I have taken it upon myself to make this thread so that anyone with questions or requests for the campaign.

To get this started i'd like to say that above all things at the moment, Chrysamere needs more players from the Aldmeri Dominion and Ebonheart Pact. This isn't something I mean to be saying " we have to work together to take down Daggerfall Covenant" it is just pure fact. I am from AD and myself and many of my allies are having a bad time simply because we don't have enough players from each alliance. I also understand that those of the Daggerfall Covenant are becoming bored because they have no major opposition other than the few AD we can muster right now. Ebonheart Pact currently doesn't pose a threat to anyone as their numbers are so low they can't even take a single keep!

So to conclude, we really need a boost in the AD and EP populations so that we can make Chrysamere a more balanced and competitive PvP environment, and in general more fun for all the alliances. Thanks for reading, i'm off to head back into the fight!

You may want to add which server you're talking about.

I'm assuming this is NA since EP has had the highest population on Chrysamere EU since the beginning.

I assume they meant the US server as I am in the Chrysamere campaign for the Dominion and both us and the Pact need some players badly because this campaign, honestly, isn't fun anymore. I actually stopped playing in this campaign a few days ago because it was not balanced enough.

    OMG THIS THREAD.

I am on the DC side and we are very few(20-40 or 50ish) and yet our organized efforts..just dominate.

We have Crowned emperor 3 times in a row, and only lose it when you two guys are working together.

as far as numbers go. AD and EP do not have enough to crown an emperor. but a few weeks ago they had enough to dethrone us. In fact, when EP was so close to crowning an emperor, AD started attacking EP . DC took it upon themselves to reorganize, get pissed off and take everything on the AD side.

In fact, a day after we were dethroned, 24 of us logged in around 10am on a saturday and re crowned our emperor.

I understand about 100 EP left a few days ago to join scourge. Without that EP, you AD are at a loss....

I'm so close to just organizing a set time for everyone on every side to be on lol.

No Swamp, it was EP that started attacking AD that day, when we should've been focusing on finishing off DC.

While I will agree that the Daggerfall Covenant are more organized in some ways versus the AD at this moment (can't speak for Pact I don't know) but I can say that the time of day (or night) in which you all log in also gives you a slight advantage because it's usually around 10pm-3am that you guys are active, by then most in my campaign are off or just about to log off.

And yes Pact attacked us that day, in fact we went to help them (Pact) defend a keep by sneaking up on the DC and trying to take them out from behind (so Pact could defend that Keep successfully), later on that day the Pact players were sneaking attacking us after we died and were on our way back to defend a keep from DC. After that we started to attack Pact.

Again I admit that you guys seem to resurrect more players than we do and the list goes on but like I said time does have a factor as well. I can sense a lot of Pact players left the campaign, they don't fight anymore, and same with us really... we didn't lose as many as Pact did but we still have had a lot of players leave the AD side for other campaigns.

I do commend you of the DC in how you work together so well to accomplish your goals, as I said before this thread is not to bash you, just to try to get more people to balance the player base, as well as give an outlet for those who would like to talk about the campaign.

The sad fact is, with the DC so far ahead in points, keeps, and the scrolls - Players have lost the will to fight. The only thing we really can do on the AD side is defend. With players leaving because of the DC push two nights ago - there isn't much any side can do. One thing is true among every player - no one likes to be bullied for three months.

Last night we had the most numbers to be expected for the AD. After the battle of Nikel, we could not push the scroll, only defend. The way to save the campaign is to get more players on the AD and EP side. Players looking for a fun map will leave with one look at the scoring and keep owners...so where does that leave our beloved campaign?

I wonder if the developers ever thought that people would leave if they get too frustrated from losses. It seams like their only thought was the loosing sides would "ban together" but its hard to work with a team if you cannot speak to them easily...

I understand about 100 EP left a few days ago to join scourge. .

Whatever guild that was completely ruined our campaign... It's gone from AD outnumbering to even numbers to EP outnumbering. It is already one of the lowest Pop campaigns, makes me sad.

well look at that, more guilds have left the campaign tonight, Looks like the map will be fun for no one. Even Fang isn't playing the map as often as he used to because of frustration. Things are going downhill quick.

I just came back tonight after about 5 days away, it was okay but really the same old thing. At least we held a keep from DC this time, well, after we reclaimed it. I don't blame Fang at all, I originally only came back today because the other Reaper's March quest I have is bugged and I'd rather be level 50 for Coldharbour so I don't have to wait after I finish the zone early.

I dont get it either. Honestly. here is the Exact number of DC on every day in Chrysamere:

30-45....and an emperor THATS IT. it's all we have.

    come back!

Myself and friends played a lot in the first few days on US Chrysamere in AD (levels 10 to 19), but because of this 700 Armor business when you're below VR1 - most are PVE Levelling at the moment, and will come back when we have a few levels.
It's weird when you are over 700 it actually reduces your armor, so if you meet VR1 people you have no chance.

The problem is we only have 30 people on a good day, the rest of the time we are lucky to have a full raid group going...

@SwampRaider. It has to do with the score really at this point. I mean DC owning the whole map does not help with new comers but they would probably get over that if you weren't ahead in points by like 70,000 or so.

Plus what the other guy said is true, you have 30-45 on probably every night and at the same time... we have 45 on a good day... maybe a weekend. That's not taking in consideration players in AD with me who don't PvP as much anymore.

We really, REALLY need more Ebonheart Pact and Aldmeri Dominion in this campaign to make it a lot more fun... for everyone. All of you other AD and EP players who are getting beaten in those other campaigns... come to this one (Chrysamere)... let us join forces and take down the blue monster. In AD we are a pretty fun group so come join us.

Yes we do, but sadly people wont stay on the map the way it is, and players aren't continuing to come into the map. Sadly the campaign is dead until DC gets board and changes maps at this point.

Heck I'm 8th inline for AD and I don't pvp much anymore. If I'm on the map I'm doing pve because there isn't enough AD to take a resource, let alone push DC when they join the fight.

DC needs to learn to hold back now so there can be fun battles later...

Yeah, doesn't hurt to try. I'm fairly high on the leaderboard for AD myself but don't pvp much anymore, been in Cyrodiil since early release. Problem is the DC guild that's in our campaign... I think pvp is all they do.

Still come all EP and AD...

Our guild(Legends of Evermoor) has started a PvP night on Wednesdays to get more experience with what to expect when we go full PvP as our members grow to 50. We aren't huge or anything and in fact are quite small comparatively speaking, but the desire is there. We are also DAoC vets and fight for the EP too.
We have taken a mine and a farm and are planning to work weekly to understand the mechanics of the map. We're looking forward to fighting regularly with you all! Legends!

looks like AJSA guested in with 300 AD and destroyed the map when their only challenge was 25 DC.

what kind of guild, guests into a LOW POP campaign with a huge zerg..expecting a big fight?(They actualyl told me they expected huge army clashes in Chrysamere..LOL)

anyway, congrats AD, you own the map....for now...courtesy of the ANGRY Joe zerg Army.
