Also ES as a whole has always been about bringing the skills you want for your character, I think ESO going this direction is something they should have done years ago, This allows people to make their character the way they want their character to be. I think there is going to be some growing pains from PVP , But good news is i wont die to a skill that i dont have access too because i did not pick that class. I will die to people being Better at me in their own individual skill. and i think that's the Balance that is needed
Super easy fix to balance this mess. Make it so subclass lines are restricted to unmorphed skills. Only your class should have access to their associated morphs as that was their -specialty-.

Not completely against this idea, but I do not think that will help. I think subclassing skill lines should be completely seperate, and be atleast 25% less effective than the actual class.
For example, Siphoning first passive Catalyst, Now gives 30 ultimate on a potion consumed. On a subclassed version it should give, 22.5 Ultimate.
Subclassed Skill lines should recieve this change on all skills and passives.
My pvp build idea already consist of Assassination/Aedric Spear/Siphoning on a Rangeblade. I get ranged spammable with heal, ranged stun, Several OP ults to choose from. While also recieving crazy passives.
With assassination and Aedric spear ill be getting extra 22% crit dmg from passives alone. Burning light which will help rangeblade pressure drastically. And the range spear stun which i can combo with the notorious meteor. Bring back one of the most busted combos thats ever been on ESO. All while adding 2 merciless resolves back to back.
In theory, this should be insane. I think a effiency nerf on subclass skill lines are going to be needed. Or else the game will never be balanced again

Why do we need subclasses? The answer is the same. Some people want it. Therefore both should be balanced and viablle/competitive.
