Who is your favorite NPC so far?

Razum-dar has definitely been my favorite recurring NPC so far. That is one cool cat. He has quickly become the Chuck Norris or Jack Bauer of Tamriel to me.
Razum-dar would not complain about downtime, he would chill and have a drink!

My favorite one time NPC is Cadwell in the tutorial, the crazy guy with a pot on his head.

No story spoilers please but who is your favorite NPC so far and why?

Razum-dar and Queen Ayrenn, hands down. And that applies to all factions, not just the Dominion. IMO, the Dominion has the strongest story and the most likeable NPCs.

Hah, when I read the title, I instantly thought Razum-dar, too. Though there was also that 'cheeky charmer' thief fella...is it Jakarn? (was back in my first beta, so may not be right!). Hmm, who is there in EP? Oh! I liked Galen. No Razum-dar, mind.

^ this. Razum-dar makes me chuckle every time we converse. Great voice acting and story telling in this faction. Loving it!

The NPC's I met in the beta, on Bleackrock Isle in the Ebonheart Pact faction were way more sympathic than those I've met in Auridion in the Aldmeri Dominion.... dunno if it is because it all went so quick this time. It's a hugh island, and I don't know what quest to take first, so ever since I landed there I've only lvled my crafting

I really liked the characters we sail off with from Stros M'kai but no one beats Razum-dar, very well written and great voice acting.

a slight observasion here:
When we start to like the npc´s so much that it is hard to pick a favourite, when was the last time that was the case in an MMO ? How promising is that for ESO then ? There is so much to like in ESO, the music, the stories, the lack of unimportant fetch quests, the lore oooh those books, never pass a bookshelf without checking it... so much to like.

I've done my share of fetch quests; the upside is that they nearly always turn into something much more interesting, like investigating the mystery behind WHY I needed to fetch those things, uncovering a nefarious plot, stopping it, and then getting to decide whether the bad guy lives or dies.

Oh, and to answer the OP's question, it's Razum-dar for me, no contest. I'm overjoyed when I run into him someplace where I didn't expect to see him.

Razum-Dar, hands down. He's almost making me want to make a Khajiit character for RP purposes, or actually level up my bank alt "Q'aim the Truthful" and mess with people xD

No-Fingers quickly grew on me too, 'tis a shame that it seems he's unlikely to reappear after you finish the quest he's involved in.

I am not gay, but i must vote for the captain that is. You have to rescue her wife and it is clear how much she cares for the love of her life and yet have to show a brave face to not lose respect from the crew. Polls show that about 2 to 4% of people are gay or bisexual ( low estimate ) , i wish more games reflected that in their NPCs. Also... where are the children ?

Jakarn is pretty cool, has 1 issue though. He doesnt like it where there are to many redguards

Easily my favorites however so far every NPC has been at LEAST interesting to me. Love the characters in this game. The queen is so down-to-earth when you really get to know her (dialogue options wise lol).

Depends on what you mean 'likeable'.

On AD side:
For sheer charisma, Razum-Dar. That is one cool cat.

On DC side:
For rock-steady moving along, High King Emeric. The man has earned the respect and loyalty of an ancient vampire... that says something.

Of course, Sheogorath is always a favorite.

And, yes, Tharn is awesome. "Oh, ***! So our little redguard has a crush on our Nord giantess? I can't WAIT for the possibilities..."

I think I just found my new favourite, Serge Arcole, in a quest to save his wife.

The reason why, he says to me something like, "with luck we might be able to rescue her without killing anybody".

I look back down the beach and screenshot the field of corpses I have left behind. Each of them carrying a disguise to let me sneak through, oops.
