I'm going to have to say Norgred "The Naked Nord". I laughed my ass off on that quest line. What isn't funny about a naked guy that trusted a women and woke up on the side of the road without his pants and axe. haha

Raz is the best 'sidekick' among all factions (though I played very little EH).

Sheogorath and his pal Haskil = best deity/universal NPC

There have been a few random side quests conversations that I found funny/unique/creepy (that alchemist Hag in Grahtwood, anyone? nastiest cougar award *shudder*), but there have been cheesy/lackluster ones also, even in the main story *cough Lyris cough*

Defenitely the Prophet. I like these old man characters with a lot of wisdom, and especially when they had a different past.

The obvious answer is: the vaultkeeper in the the elden root crafting area. He says
"What are our vaults made of? Probably ebony 3 feet thick, inlaid with dragons bones and studded with glass, graven in runes of impermeability"
also he says
"Even if you were to, say, die and come back to life thousands of years later."

There's a drunk kitty in the on the docks in the first main AD city that says some funny stuff. I always hear her when I run alts through there. Oh and Raz too... wake up new friend, wake up!

I really like Queen Ayrenn. I didn't think that I would until I actually met her, and her character was really well done, in my opinion. Behind Ayrenn I like Raz, who I don't think of as a side-kick, but more of a partner in this whole thing.

As for the question about kids, I have a simple explanation which may or may not be true. The game has lots of violence and suggestive themes. Not sure of the rating on it, but I am pretty sure it is at least PG-13 in nature. In many cases, companies are prohibited from putting minors in a game which features adult themes and violence, so this may be the case with ESO. (Again, just a guess.)

raz is definitely my fave NPC so far he be cool... he is kinda cranky at me atm (id say why but spoilers!) im just glad he is there to BE cranky with me.

calling cadwell a 'one time' NPC is a little unwarranted

Mephala and Hermaeus Mora have some good moments (especially in DC for Mephala)

But the biggest all time favorite is, of course, Sheogorath.
Always brings a smile on my face to meet him.

Without a shadow of doubt it has to be the skeleton skull (DRINGOTH) who you help find all his missing bones and then becomes an awesome companion. I laughed so much at his comments on how they had been abusing his bones.
When the dead dragon wanted me to kill him- I just couldn't do it.
-I had to let him live- he says he will meet up with me later in the game- after he has spent some time in the desert.
" But the barnacles.. oh, do they chafe! Took me a decade rolling around in the desert sands to rid myself of those" Has to be the best quest companion in the game
Fingers crossed I hope I see him again soon!

This. Times a million. I will play any old thing with Sheogorath in it. Any. Dang. Thing. And Cadwell, well, I love John Cleese anyway, but he only provides the perfect voice and delivery for that special kind of crazy. The character is that special kind of crazy.

Also happy to see that M'aiq (spelling?) The Liar is in the game as well, though I do wish that his comments would change. Every time I see him they tend to be the same three.

My favourite character is a khajiit in Grahtwood, who is accused of eating a flower by a wood elf. In defence, he says something like: "I'm sorry, I didn't know. I love eating flowers!"

I just love her, wanted to slap her when I started her quest line, not to give to much away, 3 parts to her missions, first two is like wtf u cant be serious, and her responses, made me laugh and smile from mouth to ear
