Oakensoul and Velothi are not catch all solutions for for people who dislike the way the game currently is. They come at a significant power sacrifice, and while it's fine for MOST of the game... IF you want to participate in "hard" content, given how micro-managey most guilds are with gear you'd be lucky to get an invite.

Velothi is literally the mythic to use in almost every case when you are a damage dealer completing trifectas, especially if aiming for good times. You shouldn't imply that using it makes you unlikely to be wanted when a quick glance through ESO logs shows you its popularity in high performing groups.

(You are mostly right about Oakensoul, though I've known people get trifectas like GS and IR with it without any issues as well.)

If you can't handle 12 abilities in an MMO, stop playing MMOs... Note how I never suggested we increase the amount of abilities, I suggested that weapon swapping be automated and made to be seamless. People are already playing with 12 buttons which means you're just arguing because you want things to not change at all, you're scared of the change being something you don't like so you fight to the death to keep the status quo. Because if nothing else changed except for having weapon swapping be seamless that game would be identical except without the extra useless input.

Only then I'd need 12 keys instead of 6+ a switch on my mouse, which would require me to constantly move my left hand across the keyboard (assuming I just extend along the number keys, and I don't have many free to do much else). As someone who has suffered with wrist issues, this would almost certainly cause me pain if done for any length of time.

Does this mean you think I'm someone who shouldn't be playing MMOs?

I think the HMs and trifectas I've completed across all roles in the game, along with the hours PvPing and pushing myself in solo content, should instead determine if I qualify as a capable MMO player. So, I think I'll both continue playing and be happy to keep my weapon swapping just as it is, thank you. If you personally find it too difficult or inconvenient, maybe you should request an optional control scheme instead of deciding something that others prefer should be removed.

Crossplay with PC and a patch boosting graphics for PS5 Pro are the only two things that would bring me back.

how is weapon swapping a bug lmao

like bruv it's literally a core mechanic of the game for you to be able to slot different abilities based on the weapon you have equipped.

it's different to other MMOs, for sure, but building up your 12 available ability slots for the content you want to do is part of the game's design, and to me is much more engaging than just slotting *everything* you have on 40 slots and have them all displayed.

    1. No OCE servers, There's really no point to not have at LEAST OCE instance servers for PvE content. Yes you can do content with the current setup but you basically have to be a complete sweat lord to get anywhere close to max potential.

    2. Weapon swapping is and always will be, imo, a bug. It needs to go and player power needs to be adjusted accordingly. Such a poor choice for devs to leave the game like this.

    3. Mount Training should be account wide... Seriously nobody wants to get on their alts and deal with a slow mount.. It's anti alt design and we all know it's just so you can sell training books.

    4. Progression in ESO is so mid. At the very least being able to add more stats to our gear through enchanting (more than currently) by using mats only obtainable in higher content.

    5. Sprinting past everything in dungeons should be dealt with, it's an unfun way to play for a lot of people and completely destroys immersion. By removing 1. max level rewards from normal content and 2. removing mob tethers so they don't ever reset while someone is inside the dungeon we can at the very least minimize the amount this happens improving overall player enjoyment.

    6. Make crafting more robust and interesting, allow us to do crazy things like having a trait that reduces the max level required to put on the gear.

    7. Double the housing furniture (yes this includes the eso+ bonus, that should be double too)

    8. Make guild traders zone based, if you get a spot in the zone you just have to go to 1 guild trader to sell/buy not check 10 to find the best price or use addons.

    9. Map completion should be account wide for discoveries. (if I have the wayshrine on 1 characters I should have it on all)

    10. refer to number 1.

I'm sure ZOS is going to fix this for you.

PS: These 10 things are not issues, but personal preference.

Also nobody is having fun logging into to their alt once a day to click a mount training option. I know people that literally make a character and don't play it until they at the least have maxed out mount speed because they game just feels dumb with a slow mount that moves slower than on foot sprinting.

    [edited for profanity bypass]

That's just people making bad decisions for themselves.

Mount speed at plus level 10 - Continuous Assault Freebie from Cyradil tutorial - " Oh, It's too slow "

Anyone who makes a character and then waits 2 months to start playing ... That's their own personal decision. I don't blame the game for that.

you want to move around fast while waiting for your mount, pick up a couple swift rings and run. They only cost about 1k in game gold.

    1. The ability to set it so that the sorceror flying pet, the winged twilight, cannot be seen anywhere ever except if it is being used in combat.
    2. Cannot mount in combat - it needs to go.
    3. Collect multiple survey maps at once or have a survey hireling but preferably the former.
    4. Minor annoyance, but in certain areas in towns and going through gates you get dismounted. Its a minor thing so not too worried about this one but would be a nice fix.
