STOP 2x DROP any resources events

This is a direct killing of the economy of the game, which is already in a very bad state, prices for everything continue to fall rapidly and prices do not have time to return to the usual state as there is another event for resources. Maybe it's time for to come up with interesting events and not events that will finally kill the economy of the game? :/

It is very disappointing that the ZOS are not trying to do anything about the falling economy.

I'm happy prices are dropping. As a non-seller, it's historically been very difficult to amass enough gold to buy much of anything.

If I can't have a global auction house, I'll at least take a market readjustment that makes it easier for me to participate in the buyer's side of the market.

That's the approach they're going for pretty intentionally I'd assume, not that as a seller I'm liking it as I'm just not bothered to sell anything but hoard until some shift.

Keep correcting that market, ZOS. It's awesome.

I remember when the only way I could get gold jewelry was waiting for it to come about on the golden vendor. Although I now have everything I need and want in game, it's nice to know those that start today don't have that staggering amount of time and wasted gold to wait to gold gear.

A falling economy? You mean the way each other buys up for little and sells it in turnover for outrageous prices that don't make sense? Or is it that someone in the market is trying to drive up prices by selling for 100x higher? Congratulations.
Btw some style materials are getting more expensive as they stop the dropping. So the dealers can take alts and go kill bosses in zones and make money. Some materials are already twice as expensive.

Funny that in this current economy Golden materials for Blacksmithing are remaining around 7k a piece (Xbox EU) and I am still not buying them because I want them cheaper.

Some items drop in prices, others not much.

I was waiting this exact moment to hoard but we are not where I was expecting us to be - surprised.

Everybody keeps talking about a Failing Economy. What economy? What fail?

Are players unable to purchase anything from the vendors? Their wares are dirt cheap.

Do players have Mortgages or Utility bills to pay in game? Last I recall, no player has ever been evicted from their home, or froze to death because their heating bill lapsed.

Are there player characters starving in the streets across Tamriel?

There is no economy in ESO. There is only how rapidly you can amass fortunes that mean nothing.

I like the 2x drop events.

I never buy the normal mats from traders or other players, anyway.

Can we get a double equipment drop event? I deconstruct and double deconstruct would be helpful for style materials.

When people who play the market complain about prices dropping i bet they have tens to hundreds of millions of gold in their banks.

Just make guild traders cheaper to lease and maybe they'll stop having a problem with much needed deflation.

Overall, I agree. It would be preferable to legalize the current drop rate on a permanent basis so that materials generally cost less. There's no need to constantly run 2x events; the 2x drop rate should be made permanent.

And I'd like to keep it that way.

I trade so I can afford to buy and decorate houses. That is very expensive. I've spent over 60 million gold buying crowns to purchase 3 houses, and that doesn't take into account the millions for furnishings and mats to make furnishings to decorate them and the other 36 houses I've completed.

It would be nice if they dropped the crown cost for houses but I don't see that happening. And furnishing mats are still expensive and haven't gone down in price even though my income has.

Then there is the fact that we need to bring in income for our guilds to stay afloat. And my income now is 1/4 what it used to be.

If they are going to "fix" the economy they need to fix all of it.

As someone that collects and sells things, mostly mats, to other players, I managed to amass a total of 12M gold after 6 weeks of farming and selling.

In one day alone, I spent 8 million on motifs, for one of my characters.

I no longer contribute to the pool of players that make and sell things like tripots and glyphs.

I will no longer be refining raw mats to obtain higher-level tempers to sell.

I no longer do master writs to access and sell the items that are are available from Rolis.

Ordinary players like me have been replaced by bored PvP players with an aggressive and competitive play style, who are engaged in the relentless hunt for luminous ink.

Bal Foyen is the new Cyrodiil.

Whilst I paid for 1 month sub to access companions again and store mats for the event, I lasted about four days before deciding to uninstall my game until things change. The 90 items currently listed in guild stores will automatically be deleted after they appear in my mailbox, either as 14 day returns or sold items.

    Enjoy the event.

My hope is the rapid deflation prices bots out of the game. Mats become so low price wise, it isn’t worth the time and energy. Probably not though since it’s all automated anyway.

Do not buy gold. Bots are a blight on this beautiful game.

    Have fun elsewhere :)

As an ordinary player, these lower prices are quite nice. I came back after a long break, where I save gold mats and things, the prices were a lot lower than I remembered. Which means, I would of lost MILLIONS of gold, which is totally fine. Because that's generally how games work.

& I'm enjoying these new prices! It's way more affordable making my gear gold now, than before, where I would of had to of spent a minimum of about 3 million gold.

Since there is almost no effort on the part of the bot master prices would have to crater to the point that no regular player could compete for it to affect the bots.

Fascinating that there seems to be no topic people don't complain about. I do trade to get gold for housing and mats is actually what I sell most, and yes, there's a price drop during and after these events - but I just sell other items instead for that time. It will even out again.
