Loot 40 Treasure Chests... I mean, it's nice that we get a new weekly quest, but how on earth are you supposed to find 40 Treasure Chests when hundreds of thousands of players are doing the same thing?!

Running normal trials would probably be the easiest way to do it over the week without having to worry about competition. Depending on the trial, you can loot 5-8 of them in a single run.

It isn't bad since you only have to loot it. The 'pick' so many chests is harder because only the person picking the lock gets credit.

I don't think it's that bad. There are plenty of chests lying around. Lock boxes will probably also count.

The endeavor is to loot treasure chests so any activity like the dolmens mentioned above or the Infinite Archive where you loot your reward from a chest will count as well as traditional chests.

Yes, and chests from dolmens and maps is not picked.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Base game dungeons are also a great place to farm chests if you feel like farming them, as there's no secret bosses so it's easier to find the chests. I'm personally more interested to do the 10 PD group events one as it only requires you to slamdunk the same boss 10 times. I usually go to Bad Man's Hallows or Crimson Cove for farming since I like vibing in those.

I feel like the number of times you have to do an activity for an endeavor has gone up.
Yesterday it was cut 12 logs of wood, or kill 15 skeletons. I know it isn't a big deal, but I just don't like that development. It means the likelihood of it getting done through normal play decreases, and farming time goes up. I don't want more chores when I log on, so please bring the numbers back down to the usual range.

Yeah, saw it. Very sceptical of it, wrote something in another thread about it. My level of skepticism will depend on how it ends up looking, but the entire thing is an awfull construct that will also make the game more unfriendly to new players who might never be able to unlock certain things (depending on wether the things are obtainable in other ways innthe game, which I hope they will be) - it just makes it harder to care about things in the game in the first place when you're kept out of content because you weren't there at the exact right times.

40 chests is nothing. Between dungeons, trials, Infinite Archive, regular overland chests, treasure chests and so, I surely loot 100 chests per week, and I may fall short saying 100, since I do IA every day.

No, it is not. Is 5 minutes like most PD group events. Is 100% working just as intended, there is not need to look into this, ever.

That should not be too hard.

Also, dungeon chests count and there are 2 in every dungeon, you just need to stop to grab them, which most players do. Also, some bosses in dungeons spawn a chest at the end instead of looting the boss' body, so that might count as well. With the undaunted event and a lot of people running multiple dungeons daily, that's an endeavor that completes itself.
