Two dungeons - okay, I'm not big on them but free is fine. But HOT DAMN! Furnishings! Alinor window boxes, lanterns, potted trees! Blue butterflies! And a new headdress! And the rest of the stuff is good too.... Oh, yeah, even ink....

Great month, I'm really happy!

    Great month, I'm really happy!

None of that is of interest to me.
I might have been interested in furnishing recipes, even bound ones, but not the furniture itself.

Ink is literally worthless now to players without GR.

    enjoy.

Yeah, I was excited when I saw the furnishings as well. Especially since they are *blue*!

The dungeons? I will most likely rarely, if ever, use them, but those furnishings? *grabby hands* gimme!

    Meh.

3 of the furnishings are easily craftable in game. So now, after one of the most requested housing improvements was completely ignored, an improvement to housing storage, we're given housing items that won't even stack with their crafted counterparts. Adding a few more drops to the overfull bucket that runneth over.

And why has 4 days of research scrolls become a permanent fixture on the wall of the Daily Login Rewards? It was nice to see when it happened the first time, but every month now?

Even if one would find the furnishing items acceptable rewards, I personally see 7 days of nice rewards (maybe 9), but the rest of the month is all what most players would consider "Filler".

I don't do group content (or PvP), so the dungeons are a big *shrug* for me. And yes, that means I won't play them even if they are free - zero interest is zero interest. I'd much rather have an alternative I could claim. I honestly can't think of an incentive/offer they could use that would persuade me to play group or PvP content, I'd much rather see a 100% focus on PvE, but that's just personal preference talking.

I think this is the first DLC giveaway where I don’t already own the DLC in question, so I’m happy about it. 🎉 I go through spurts where I do dungeons a lot and then I don’t touch them for a while, so I don’t usually buy them but I’m fine with getting them for free. Also some nice extra Endeavors this month too!

I was thinking this was a great month too. I can craft the Alinor items but it is nice to save a few of those rare style mats. I’m happy for everything, even the research scrolls. I can barely stand to farm skyshards to get enough for a full crafter so I don’t bother getting enough to do more research times at a time. They are very helpful for me.

I’m not going to complain about free stuff anyway. It’s free.

I wasn't aware of the furnishings not stacking, but that doesn't surprise me. Thankfully, it also won't affect me.

I used the research scrolls previously. The research scrolls are most valuable when you have all three (used to be four...) research slots active. But I'm no longer actively researching on new chars now. No more wasting skill points on developing crafting skills that are now worthless.

The first reward this month is 400 hours of base skill buff. Players that used to buy these now won't need to for 3-6 months. Playing 12 hours per day won't see them consumed inside one month. So no need to make any to sell now. Useless.

Yes housing slots cannot be increased due to a technological limitation. But the ability to add storage isn't the same thing.

Oh, thank you for the good info!
Still, since I know it's possible to end up on a sorta of ignore list from support if I abuse the function, I don't want to risk with this. I'm not saying it isn't legitimate; just afraid to risk. i don't want to bother them with "I don't want free stuff"... Just typing this I sound annoying, I'm aware.

They did post in the Housing forum some while back that a furniture bag wasn't possible, because of the sheer number of furnishings already available. And that number's vastly expanded by this time....

The post was stickied for a couple of years. Then it was allowed to sink. I might still be able to hunt it up; it would be easiest if I could remember the name of the admin who posted it.

I recall that being said about a "furnishing bag". But I've never heard or seen any reference to an inability to add more storage chests. I've just tried searching again, and all I see are references to saying no to a furnishing bag. Zero hits on anything even remotely hinting at storage chests.
