Unable to dismiss the Announcements on the Forums

I didn't know the banner was dismissable. It's always been there for me.

Maybe an executive decision was made to permanently disable the dismiss feature.

Why would they only do it on the English forums then? And what possible benefit could be gained from it?

It is obvious that it was unintentional. That is why this thread exists... to bring it to their attention.

Idk if anyone's said it yet, but it's not dismissible for me and I'm on my desktop and not my phone. This must be one very important patch.
