This pushing people into PVP is WRONG

Best Part of an hour and a half, just to get A TICKET, in imperial city , I DO NOT WANT TO BE THERE, All I want is a Ticket.

But I am forced to be in there to get it... I have found out that if you stand still with your shield up, then MOST people will simply let you go on your way, or up and down crouch tried that it also worked...

But one player Menzo.....zan , nope , he just kills me, easy point for them, they not getting hit, so no damage, they are going around the daily area simply killing because they can, I went back in as AD, and asked to be allowed to do the daily, and they ignored that, i watched him kill off low level players, all trying to do the daily ... They are a waste of this effort. And because they are DELIBERATE in messing with people, their Comms are off, not that they care as proved by ignoring another one of their own faction.

This is Just WRONG !!!! want tickets , then suffer !!! have your day ruined by wasting your time!!

and They wonder why people lose their temper!!! this has to stop, give people options!

Got the ticket , and I am Off for the day... meant to be playing with friends tonight, that's a NO, had enough hassle for the day. I will have more extra drugs and read a book, more satisfying

You really don't have to do pvp, it's just two events per year and there's more than enough opportunity to make up the event tickets during new life when all the event fragments are available again.

I am not saying this to be rude, just that it's a video game and one shouldn't let it "force" them to do unenjoyable things. I'm sure some will hop on with various suggestions about how to get the event tickets for a pve'er, but honestly if it's causing that much aggravation you really can skip the event. It'll be over soon and the world of eso will keep on turning.

To clarify Drugs, Blood pressure meds, Meds for Stress / PTSD. I do not want them either... but they are also a Forced result of doing this

I'm going to state the obvious here, maybe not the most obvious.

Imperial City is split into 6 Districts over 4 Campaigns, that player can't be in all 24 districts all at once, you can leave and try elsewhere. If you're spending an hour and a half trying to complete one daily that's kind of on you for running into the brick wall. I've been doing a daily a day for the event in IC and it takes maybe 5-10 minutes depending on population/need to hotswap. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but as they say, discretion is the better part of valour.

I want the Onyx Indrik, I passed on it last time for a reason which I cannot remember, it was that long ago, so god only knows when it will be back! If I Knew, then i could pass here, but I have not got a clue what the schedule is.

Yes its a Video game, I Enjoy all but the Scholarium / Ink / PVP. I avoid 1 the other will come, and the last, i just do not want to do!

I think i missed it because it was pvp lol , but I am unfortunately not the only one in this boat....

An Yes you COULD, go out and Buy the tickets at 250 crowns * 10 * 4 , 10,000 crown I cannot afford that on a pension! and would not waste it anyway

You'll get more than enough event tickets for everything at latest during the New Year event. I don't PvP in ESO at all, so I skip the PvP events every year (and sometimes even the Undaunted events, too, if I don't feel like soloing a dungeon each day or don't have time for that), and I always had enough tickets in the end.

I'm all for having options, of course. But as long as there isn't one for this event, I just skip it.

I would happily collect tickets over the year , and then just go and get things when they came up.. but that cannot work either as you can only carry 12. and then you would possibly have to wait a year to get the next, knowing my luck the Indrik would be Gone by the time I had 3 out of the 4 bits

I can't handle another New Life or Jesters festival so I skip both entirely. I still have enough event tickets each year to buy all the event ticket rubbish that I could unlock and never use again.

Honest to god, do you really want mini molag, that awful folded arms personality, or so-so mount? Are you ever gonna use them? I can count on one hand how many times I've seen American Football bear from last year.

Well Sarcasm aside, Your Setup can survive PVE No Problem, the Setup required for PVP is very different, and required a person to learn about it. for 1 / 2 events per year????

the PVE event, you can go in , get it done, and get out at your pace... the PVP event this is a point feast for PVPs people Do Not know the Armour Setups, nor the "loopholes / tricks" , and they are just ground up. Its why most avoid it! nobody is going to hinder YOU in PVE, so why does it have to be in PVP....

ok, thanks for that, but that means the reason I passed last time was Autumn = PVP, so if i keep 12 tickets, I can get 1 part next autumn, 4 years to get it!!!

Hence I am in against my will and better judgement to in the PVP to get it this year..

Please Do not get me wrong, as I have said in other posts , if PVP is what you enjoy then go for it, its just not everyone's idea of fun! only way around is to allow me to save ALL 40 Tickets and wait a year, that's not goin to happen!!!

I agree that I have things that I have no need nor desire for from the events, simply to get rid of the tickets, because it will not let you finish if it cannot give you the tickets! but I Simply want the whole set of Indriks! the onyx Is the one that I have never got!

There is nothing wrong in wanting to complete something you started

Not sure why nobody has mentioned it so far but...
You don't actually have to PvP in order to get your tickets.

* Take the arena disctrict quest in IC - preferably with an aldmeri char - and camp on top of the spawn point
* Chose an empty Cyro campaign and take the scouting quest (you can atually drop the quest and activate it again if the destination is too far)

done. No fighting involved at all. ^^

lol, I did read, but the indrik was meant to be in the last event! it was not! so yes i see your point, , can you Guarantee that the next event will give me 40 tickets? and it will all go smoothly (I have in the past got things, only to wait a year to complete it! )

And Since I am 80% BLIND, the bold actually was appreciated, I could actually see that lmao, but i know what you're saying , I could pass here and take the risk of moons and planets aligning, and possibly / probably get it, but what do i miss from the next.... lol, not trying to be awkward , just going from 10 years of experience and life!

lol, I am also awaiting eye surgery , again , one more mess up and i probably get the other 20% blindness, at that point this is immaterial, because i won't be able to play any more or admire the collection lol

This year's MYM Event: 39 tickets

That's 87 tickets for the quarter, 48 if you skip this Event, that's enough for all parts of the Onyx Indrik at the cost of skipping the current mount. Keep in mind, the Indriks are a catch up item, they were the event morphs of yesteryear.

Also, just in case you didn't know, it's 60 tickets total for the Onyx, not 40, you need the 40 for the berries but the 20 for the base indrik too.

You know what I do for IC as I dispise IC as hard as you:
You know how much days the event has. There are six quests if I recall correctly. Devide the number of days by six and just take the integer number of it, increase it by 1 and this gives the number of toons for which you preload the quest.

For each of these toons go to an empty campain before event and do the quests but don't turn them in. When the event starts log in with one of these toons, travel to a campain ideally one with low bar for the faction of your toon, hand in the quest, get ticket, log out. And do something else this day. Next day you log in again with this toon, hand in quest, get ticket, do something else till next day and repeat until all quests of that toon have been handed in. Then switch to one of the other toons and do the same thing.

Arena district is your friend, you don't have to pvp at all usually and it normally takes under 15-20mins. Not a big fan of pvp myself but I don't find it very difficult to get the event tickets, style page, each day now that the pages drop from coffers and not IC bosses (that sucked IMO, but was also why some of those pages were so expensive).

Works well for DC characters too....

Go up ladder, pick up quest look below and in front of you, there is a pit, 2 enemies and 2 prisoners spawn there roughly every couple of minutes.

Just crouch to hide in between, you only need to tag the enemies for the release to count for you(if there a multiple people camping there!

IC: Will not work for this PvP event, but in the future do the quests BEFORE the event starts but do NOT hand them over (choose off peak hours to do the quests to minimize any encounters with other players). During the event turn one quest per day in the safety of the base.

The no-CP instances are lightly populated, and perfect for just doing one daily to get tickets. I have 2 characters that I (TRY to) PVP with, in different factions. There's always a no-CP instance where one of those factions has a commanding lead, and then I jump in. Just wait for your moment, and you can be done with both in mere minutes.
