2024 reminder to bring back Dragon's Treasure Trove

It's been a thing for a while, everywhere. People really like having things other people don't.

I'm not even innocent of that myself. But my super-duper exclusive thing is an IRL bike, with actual resell value. So, frankly, it makes sense for me to like it there. And I do feel good riding that thing where I can be seen...

It doesn't make sense in video games however and just comes across as a little petty in that case.

To be quite honest, this game's playerbase isn't that bad for this kind of thing and actually, I was surprised to see that comment.

Another game I play with a certain pre-order spaceship, however... No, it's not Scam Citizen either. But a little topic that's been raging for nearly a decade since the thing was available for a few months.

I'm quite used to this type of thing by now in a number of game forums, and I think everyone who defends their exclusive pixels is err... Well I shan't risk any trouble.

From Elsweyr we still have the pre-order horse and the bone colossus combat dummy and the 2H from the tutorial quest if you want to flex on people. But it’s not like people are going to go to someones house to get flexxed on, people go to houses for crafting, parsing, or enjoying the house.

Agreed. If pre-order items can be purchased long after the chapter is released, then what's the point in pre-ordering? These items are supposed to be a special reward for pre-ordering.

It would be more wise to ask to introduce a new similar item, than to bring back something exclusive. There are multiple treasure and gold coin mounds in the game, if not as good as this one, so devs can make another one. If players ask for it a lot

Ehhh? What's with the 2H there in Elsweyr tutorial? I did all of the tutorial quests before Blackwood, except Elsweyr (somehow I didn't make a single new character at that time, even though they introduced a necro class)

That's a beautiful furnishing. As it happens, it's been nearly 5 years since Elsweyr was released and that nice number would be a nice pretext to come up with some non-grindy event with the treasure trove as a possible reward.

Fair enough, I really don't like FOMO in games, so I don't care if people get those too. Especially the 2H... I have so many stored because I loved the weapon so much, would love to be able to get even more haha. Was fun to duel with just bonking people with what's essentially a wooden dowel.

I don't think the gold pile was a pre-order reward, but it was the Elsweyr celebration reward (the box in a box in a box thing we get during the first celebration of a DLC).

Ahhhh, what sword, is it just a sword or a style-page?
I didn't play a lot of the tutorials for the dlcs, and now they don't exist. I thought I could just do it some other time when it suited me - shame I took it as content to be enjoyed at my leisure.

Keeping up with eso exclusive stuff is a little stressful in it's own stupid first-world way. But still, it's meant to be a relaxing/fun entertainment/way to pass time.

I got the Elsweyr dragons hoard during the event, but still think others should be able to earn it. Not having access to lots of content just means I can never recommend anyone to start this game at this time.

I also really want the 2016 anniversary cake as I was really sick that year and couldn't play, and also blissfully unaware of an event.

These fomo things are the reason why my husband keeps telling me this game isn't good for me. He's probably right, I should shed the chains and pick up some more useful daily chores.
Even when I keep up with so many things (some of which I do enjoy), there's still too many things I can't obtain ever, no matter skill or time to play, and it gives me a feeling that it's pointless.

It's a really beautiful object. There is a more affordable pile of coins, but the texture quality there is so poor that it looks like fish scales. I hope there will be an opportunity to get this dragon wealth

Senche-Tiger mount! Khajiit has loyal eso+ customer for 8 years uninterrupted, surely that warrants consideration for dedicated, loyal supporter of the game sufficiently to warrant a chance to purchase that mount.
