Strategies for saving progress in Infinite Archive?

Are there any strategies for saving progress in the In Infinite Archive? Is auto-running into a wall allowable under the Terms of Service and would that prevent getting booted from the server or would it log you out anyway because you aren't technically moving?

AlterBlika✭✭✭✭Opening chat + crown store always did the trick for me to not get kicked. Not sure which of it exactly works so I just use both1 -
NoSoup✭✭✭✭Pull out your merchant and chat to them, chatting to any npc stops you from being kicked. Or atleast that works in maelstrum and vateshran.Formally SirDopey, lost forum account during the great reset.....1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Back when I got my first vMA clear (this was way back in Ye Olden Days when it was not possible to save vMA progress), I went to bed and kept the instance open by putting a heavy object on the keyboard so that my character kept walking forward (into a wall).
