I'm getting continual disconnects, it looks like the server can't handle the load (and yes, I have a more than "valid" internet connection, as that popup message says).
I'm actually getting it mainly when traveling to the snow globe home, @ZOS_Kevin . I thought it might be a good idea to travel back to Breda to complete the event quests that way (i.e. traveling to the "outside" of the home), but I'm guessing a million other players have the same idea? It was particularly bad when I tried traveling from Reaper's March back to Breda using this method: I made 3 attempts and got disconnected on all of them. After switching to just using wayshrines, it was more reliable.
Sales are up now!
Performance is bad right now. I tried 3 times to go from Eastmarch to N Elsweyr via wayshrine, and got disconnected each time. I then started getting Error 307 while trying to login again, so now I'm forced to quit the game for a while to let the server reset my status.
Is the automatic xp boost supposed to appear in Active Effects, or is it just there? There's been confusion among folks in-game as to whether it's on/working.

The automatic xp boost is applied. Same as Witches Festival. This will be the norm going forward. However, we have made a note to the team to have a better way for this to be displayed in the future.
Thanks, @ZOS_Kevin . It would be nice if it was displayed as a buff in the Character window, just like we get from XP scrolls? Is the automatic xp boost supposed to appear in Active Effects, or is it just there? There's been confusion among folks in-game as to whether it's on/working.

Yes, I might try that. This morning (in my timezone, anyway) was a special case: the event started 2am my time, and I wanted to do some event quests before the daily reset time (2pm my time). When I redo the event quests after the daily reset, the servers will be **much** quieter, because it will then be 3am GMT and 4am Western Europe. Plus I'm on leave after today, so I can pick the quiet times for the daily event quests. It's all good.Performance is bad right now. If the bad performance continues, consider trying as a test going through a VPN to Germany, where I think that the PC/EU servers are located. Proton VPN free has worked for me in the past for testing. Since ZOS isn't seeing an issue at their end, and @Elsonso isn't seeing it from where he is, I am wondering if it has to do with the route between your location and PC/EU. Your latency will be high going through a VPN to Germany, but if you can reliably wayshrine travel to Eastmarch and back over VPN, that will help understand the cause.

I was only getting it early this morning (for me): it was about 5am my time, and only 3 hours after the event started, and so very busy. Much later, traveling to the outside of the snow globe worked every time.I'm actually getting it mainly when traveling to the snow globe home, @ZOS_Kevin . I have disconnected every time I've tried fast travelling to outside the snow globe home. Every time. Wayshrine to wayshrine has been ok.
By the by, has anyone seen any new light furnishing items drop in the reward coffers? If not, I'll probably just do one a day for the tickets.

Have all fragments from this year and missing out a few indriks, so those 60 tickets would be mostly wasted right now, since the missing fragments are not offered right now:/

Same here. I can't buy anything usefull with my event tickets since I already have all the fragments that are available right now. In my desperation I even bought the indrik pet which I'll never use.
Please make the indrik merchant like the other event merchants, ie offering ALL existing fragments.
That's exactly my point, I have everything from previous years that is available right now. I haven't completed all indriks yet but the ones I'm missing are not available now.
I don't care about companions. The only useful for me is the group repair kits. But spending like 50 tickets on these kits feels bad.
Never mind, I had an unfinished quest I'd forgotten about, so it was just user error.@ZOS_Kevin , my main character got the 9 quests from Breda on the 1st half-day of the event (before the 1st daily reset), but since then she's got none from Breda, but all my 7 alternate characters are still getting them. Now, my main character only gets the daily quest from Petronius.
@ZOS_Kevin , can you please arrange for the mud ball event quest to be troll-proofed, by which I mean the mud balls should NOT work on other players, only on NPCs. I'm fed up with having so many mud balls thrown at me that I can't throw any at the NPCs. With my average ping of 400, there's little I can do to defend myself from these trolls.

But it’s expected to be pelted by Mudballs at Skyreach during the event, especially at the wayshrine. It’s not trolling — I figure we’re all there for the event — and so throw mudballs and am pelted in turn. I don’t chase anyone and try to spread them around and I never use them elsewhere nor outside of the event. I do exclusively throw mudballs at other players for the event though, since I have checked the prevent attacking innocents, which also prevents throwing mudballs, surprisingly. I could switch my settings back and forth, but as explained above, I didn’t think thay was nevessary.
I was located where you suggested, and I still got repeatedly targeted by one player. That's trolling, as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps it doesn't bother you, but it bothered me.Araneae6537 wrote: »@ZOS_Kevin , can you please arrange for the mud ball event quest to be troll-proofed, by which I mean the mud balls should NOT work on other players, only on NPCs. I also have the setting turned on to prevent attacking innocents. I can only target players during the quest. I have turned it off in the past, but then I forget to turn it back on after. It is just easier to leave it on and throw mudballs at the players between the wayshrine and the diplomats.
For people with long latency, I just recommend standing off to the side, out of the way, near the diplomats, or by the wayshrine, and getting 10 players and NPCs there. There are also plenty of places to the side where it is possible to get NPCs that are outside of the normal path players take.
