@ZOS_Kevin ? Could we please get an answer about whether the 2021 collectibles fragments will continue to be available in future events?

Since Zeal of Zenithar has started already, people need to know so they can decide how to spend their tickets.

    Thanks!

Philius Dormier, the Impresario’s Assistant, is revamping his inventory to source some retired collectibles from previous years.
He will have the Unstable Morpholith pet fragments from 2021, as well as fragments for the Deadlands Firewalker personality from the same year.
His inventory will change slightly with the season, much like the Indrik vendor at the Belkarth Festival grounds, so check back with him frequently if you missed something from that year or the current offerings aren’t to your liking.

according to these pts patch notes the fragments should change with the seasons just like the indriks.

Thank you much! <3 I must have missed seeing that, though I had noticed on the PTS that Philius was selling the personality fragments during Zeal of Zenithar. (He wasn't selling pet fragments, though the patch notes say he was supposed to have been.)

If it's like the Indrik vendor, perhaps he'll continue to sell the same collectibles for an entire quarter before he changes his stock. I guess people will just have to take their chances, but it's still better than nothing.

I guess I can accept them taking away master writ “spamming” if they didn’t also stop rewarding for the daily board writs. You only get 7 daily writs per character, so effectively there would be a limit. Crafting players with full slots will get 100+ boxes from daily writs on each character so what, and if you don’t like writs you can get your 100+ boxes by spending a few hours a day farming base game WBs with a guildmate. Why does it have to be one or the other? Why not have something for everyone.

I can also see why they don't want people hording Master Writs all year long.

Why? Again, why should folks who are crafters - elite crafters - be punished for what they have accomplished in game?

Allow khajiit to tell a little story.

Every year fragrant new content is released, including delightful new trials that have sparkly mounts and skins just waiting for every random player to just reach out and grab. Oh, wait. No, that's not right at all. Those delightful treats are ONLY available to top tier players, at least for a long time. And rightly so - accomplished players should receive special prizes in an MMO, for them to flaunt their sleekness.

Now, this one earned Dro-m'athra skin perhaps 6 years ago, and he can say with a mostly serious expression that he carried his weight during that adventure, but khajiit has not been able to train himself to rise to the level required to acquire glorious skins and mounts in any new trials for years. This is fine - khajiit still thinks he is sleek and fancy anyway and he will manage somehow without those wonderful prizes.

But khajiit -is- a master crafter. He knows every motif in game on his main except for a few pages of dull-clawed Ancestral Breton, and all 20 of his characters (19 khajiit and one argonian with fluffy delusions, btw) are 7 prof master crafters and know at least 8 traits and at least 20 full motifs.

According to Lazy Writ Crafter, this one has done 115772 crafting writs (daily and sealed) over the past 1860 days. He has 9063 surveys stored away for his 401k-hajiit plan when claws get dull. He has a stockpile of 38k writ vouchers. He has a fully stocked guild hall that he put together himself (except for 2 sets worth of tables he was gifted from 2 delightful friends) - all tables, transmute, mundus, combat dummies, and of course 2 full bowling alleys and a nightclub.

Last but definitely not least, khajiit is GM of a small, quiet but exceedingly delightful and persistent Trading Guild with wonderful folks and having been able to keep a base game city trader for over 6 years.

So, why all this self-praise? Despite khajiit's prodigious vanity, there actually is a purpose to all of this, which is to say that khajiit is as much an adherent to Zenithar's teachings as is possible to be in this game.

So, why is this one feel punished? Why is this one so very disappointed?

Because this event, in honor of the Divine of (among other things) crafting and trade, no longer rewards this one for playing one of the main ways of how he plays. This event - the possibility of getting so many boxes doing what khajiit can do - it made this one feel kind of special.

Sure, khajiit steals a lot. Of course he does. And surprise of surprises, this one has gotten every gold box, and many purple boxes, through his sticky fingers, way more than anything he has gotten through crafting. To khajiit that seems wrong.

As if this wasn't bad enough, khajiit has now been told that how he enjoys to play this game is somehow not in line with the Developers' intentions or vision. While that was said in relation to this event, khajiit understands better than that and this is concerning.

So let us recap. Being able to get 110k+ dps on a combat dummy (2x-3x what an average player can squeeze out) is somehow in line with the Dev Vision for this game, and is rewarded every year with First On Server delightful trial skins and pets. But being able to afford and complete many hundreds of sealed writs for many hundreds of purple boxes of mediocrity (let's face it, when a group repair kit is among the top prizes to be had in a box, this is not glorious, extravagant treasures) - THIS violates the devs' vision? THIS motivates the devs to want to remove this prize from the folks who can do this?

There's something wrong with all that, in khajiit's opinion.

And one last thing - here's a little secret to all those folks who still cling to the 'hoarding writs all year and then spamming them during the Zenithar event' concept. Players like khajiit - those who are serious crafters - ALWAYS have a stockpile of writs. ALWAYS. It takes perhaps 2 or 3 months for khajiit to get over 1k sealed writs. Usually this one blows through his stockpile during 2x exp events, which he will now do with his current 1300+ sealed writs. How do you think khajiit got his two arcanists to CP by the 2nd day of Necrom release?

By the time the Witches festival gets here, this one will surely have nearly 2k writs to do.

And this really makes me wonder: so it is against the team's wishes and visions to "spam" as many master writs as possible during the Zenithar event in order to get as many rewards as possible, but... it is not against the team's wishes and visions to "spam" as many master writs as possible during an XP event in order to get as many XP/CP as possible in a very short time?

Well, I honestly would like to know what are the "consistency reasons" for this.

    Ok quick question here,

I know this is almost over but I decided to be lazy and just buy something from the guild vendor to get the tickets. That does appear as a choice yes? Interact with Guild vendor? But no credit for completion. Anyone else have this?

How much was the item you bought? I'm pretty sure you have to spend at least 10,000 at the vendor.
